Blessed Be and Welcome to the, The Oak Altar, is our virtual altar here at Celtic Coven, where you can come to seek guidance, good thoughts and energy from others, or even send out a thank you to others or the deities. Pretty much it's your interwebz sacred shout out thread! Feel free to 'light candles' and even give libations and offerings!

*Walks up to the altar and lights a white candle and pours some sacred wine onto the earth* My Lord and Lady, I'm very thankful my surgery went well, had no complications, and I am re-cooping just fine. You are kind to me as you always have been. My thanks, love, and blessings!

*Walks up to the alter, lights a white candle and lavender incense.* Thank you to the Lord and Lady for Matrons successful surgery and her good recovery. I thank you Lord and Lady for the help you have given me, the strength to push through all that was set in my path thus far. Thank you and Blessed Be. *Meditates in the corner*

* Approaching the altar, I light a white candle and smolder some incense* - Great Lord and Lady, Mother and Father of all life- today was a very upsetting day. It rained today and on a drive I am certain that I ran over many toads. I stopped abruptly in the road to refrain from hitting one of the bigger toads. I sincerely apologize for any loss of life that I may have caused, and I ask that you bless me with your guidance and protection. So mote it be.

*Approaches the alter to light candles, burn some resin, and makes an offering of wine and bread* Lord and Lady watch over my Grandmother. She is very ill and is on life support. She has not been herself for some time now. The spark of joy that was once in her eyes has dulled and it's more than obvious that she is very tired. I can also see fear in those eyes though. I think at this point it is a fight between which one she is more of, tired or afraid. We never want to see a loved one go, but to be honest, I've seen death before, I know the signs and I've felt it around me and in those I've loved. All I ask is for peace for her in whatever form it comes to her. If this is something she can pull through, let her. If not, may her passing be swift and painless. I also request of you, Brighid, to be with her and if the worst is to come lead her across the veil. Being a devote Catholic, she would know you as St. Bridget, but I ask this of you because even though you're exact name and legend may vary in our eyes, we both know and love you and we've both felt your love as well. As always you have my thanks, my love, and my blessings.
