I checked and there isn't any threads on this.
I've heard that there will be a whole new battle system for Diamond and Pearl, and was wondering what your thoughts are on it.
I am rather attached to the current battle system, but I think it is time for a change. I'm hoping that the new system wont include using voice commands, as I feel like an idiot playing Nintendogs. I would want to see something that wasn't turn based, and more interaction between Pokemon when double battling.
So Revivers, what are your thoughts on a new battle system and what would you like it to have?

I still like the turn based fighting. It makes the games easier. Even though ive never beaten a game...

......Too bad I won't be able to get any of the new pokemon games. Cuz I'm not allowed to get anything pokemon anymore.

Oh, okay. I heard that they were introducing a new one, although I don't think my source of information was very reliable. I'll be looking forward to Ranger though.

But let me say that there is like 0% that the battling will be based on voice commands. Or rather, there is like 0% chance that I'll buy the game if it is. XP

Monster of Cerulean City Ranger is an action-RPG as is Dungeon. They'll include Diamond and Pearl Poké¯n so you'll be able to have a new battle experience in the game series. the battle system looks alot like fire eblem

Well, if anybody cares, they are revamping which moves are based off of attack and sp. attack. But that is very old.

Maruna the mid knight Well, if anybody cares, they are revamping which moves are based off of attack and sp. attack. But that is very old.
Hitmonchan is going to be awesome now that Elemental Punches are based off attack.
Ruins Alakazam though.

Yeah, But if Shadow Ball goes special, Gengar will actually have decent stab, because of his high sp. attk.

Alakazam can rip through Ghost types then as well.
But just about every normal type will need a new Ghost killer.
