A place where the more musically inclined students can come to share their ideas and play their instruments without bother their roommates. The building was erected because the headmaster grew tired of the noise complaints coming from the dorm building. There are many soundproof rooms within the hall so that there can be many groups or individuals playing without bothering one another.

Joss walked through the music hall with his key card in hand and used it to open the door. He could hear the music of some of the students faintly due to their practicing from each room. He came to Room 15 and sat down. This piano was brand new, and also a Steinway, a world-renowned brand. He placed his hands on the keys and began playing a prelude by Rachmaninoff. Whenever he played the piano, he felt at peace. During the next piece, Joss' fingers began playing a different song than the songs that he learned. He didn't realize it, but when he finished he couldn't help but wonder if he played it before.

Jin started out walking as he left his dorm, by the time he reached the Music Hall he was nearly at a full sprint. He was excited to play guitar again. They didn't allow him to do too much of anything in prison. The other inmates had free time to go out in the yard, go to the library, or at least communicate with other people. Jin was never allowed to do such things. He always wondered why he was treated differently from the others. But he decided to focus on the present, and right now he was about to play his new guitar.
As Jin walked into the building, he could hear a piano in the distance. As he got closer he realized he knew the song, it was a Rachmaninoff piece. As Jin approached the origin on the sound, he peered into the room curiously. He saw a young man sitting behind the piano. "Cool." Jin whispered to himself and continued to the back of the hallway. At the end of the long hallway there was a door. Jin had paid the headmaster to rent an amp from the school, and the headmaster gave him the key to this room. "Room 30? There had better be an amp in here. That was the last of my money." Jin sighed and unlocks the door.
When he gets inside the room all his whining ended. There were Three Marshall half-stacks(two guitar, one bass), two Shure dynamic mics, a Korg keyboard, a Pearl 5-piece drumset, and a full Bose PA system. His jaw drops "This was worth every penny. It'll be perfect for when i get my band started." He ran over and turned the amp on. While he waited for the tubes to warm up he grabbed a stool from the corner and took his stuff out of his gig bag. He plugs up his Les Paul to the amp and starts playin through a few scales. His fingers were stiff and slow, he could really tell he hadn't played guitar in a long while...

Karina MasonKarina heard music coming from the Music Hall. She silently walks down this hall and stops when she reaches a set of doors. She could hear someone playing the piano in one area and someone playing a guitar, a Les Paul, from another. She quietly walks down until the guitar playing is almost fullblast in her ear. She waits outside the door and eavesdrops on the boy playing his obviously new guitar. He wasn't doing too bad.

"The tone out of this guitar is nice and full. I love how this sounds. I just wish i hadn't lost so much of my ability.." Jin soon sighs in frustration. "Well complaining isn't going to make me better, gotta keep preacting."
He soon goes off on some bluesy solo. He may have lost alot of his techincal skill, but he never lost any feel for the music. He sat there for a while just goin on, he loved playing his guitar. "It'd be alot more fun if i had more people to play with.."

Karina MasonKarina smiles at the boy's frustration. He really wasn't that bad. She had heard much worse in her over 2000 years of life. She continued to listen in, her presence unknown to the boy.

(( this is what i meant about the posting in two spots.. )) While he is plaing he hears someone out in the hall chuckling at him. He leans his guitar against the Marshall and starts walking towards the door. As he walks he thinks what he is going to say to this guy. He thinks of all this rude and mean stuff to say to them for laughing at his playing.
When he finally makes it to the door he swings it open quickly to find a cute young lady standing outside the door. He pauses for a minute due to the surprise. "... Umm. Hello.. Umm... Can i help you?" He says as he checks the girl out.

Karina MasonKarina smiles to herself as he comes to the door. She hears all the nasty things he was going to say if she was a boy. She giggles when he is surprised to see her. She smiles at the boy politely. "Sorry. I didn't mean to seem rude. You are good. I wasn't laughing at your playing. I promise," she replies. [[Do you want to do it before they meet, then change it at the ceremony? Or vice versa? It'd probably be easier?]]

(( lets just say that we met at the ceremony. And this is after the ceremony. So just continue at the ceremony as if we just met, and here be a little more familiar. ))
He scratches his head in embarrassment. "Hey Karina. You really think so? I'm pretty rusty, I haven't played in a while. But thanks." He looks around her in the hallway. He hears the guy playing piano in the room down the hall, but he doesn't see anyone. "Are you just standing here by yourself? You can come in if you like?" As he says this he opens the door a little more as to direct her inside.

Karina MasonShe smiles. "Hello again Jin. And I do. I have heard people far worse. You are rusty, but you are good. Honest," she replies. "And I was just strolling around the school. I heard the music and came to see what it was. I play a bit of piano, cello, and even some bass. And many other instruments you have probably never heard of," she adds, laughing a bit at how old she is.

"I'm not trying to flirt or anything, but i don't like the idea of yu just wandering around alone. But its your choice.." as he says this Jin can't help but check her out again. He then thinks to himslef how he 'wouldn't mind inviting her to his dorm later though'. Jin laughs a little on the inside at his own joke. Then Jin starts walking back into the room so he can continue playing his guitar, "Come on. You don't have anything better to do" he says jokingly.

Karina Mason"A girl like me can fend for herself, sweetheart. I'm way past the era when girls needed men to protect them. I've already dealt with Takamora, who you have yet to meet. Besides, I have many means of protection," she smiles, exposing her fangs to him again. "And of course you wouldn't mind taking me to your dorm," she adds, leaning closer to him. She wraps her arms around his neck as if she was going to kiss him. She gets almost to his lips, her eyes burning into his. Then before he could attempt to kiss her, she was against the opposite wall, nearly 10 feet away from him. She did this is less than a second. It was a mere flash to the human eye. "But then again, they all say that. Only want the body, not caring about the mind... the heart... or the bite," she replies, smiling a more fierce smile this time. Then she rolls her eyes.

"Please forgive i wasn't trying to imply that you are weak, nor that you need my protection. Just that such a pastime has to rather lonesome and i thought you could use some com-..." Before he finished his statement, Karina had approached him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned into his face. Jin felt his body relax as she made her move. He closed his eyes and leaned in for the kiss, then she disappeared and he nearly fell to the ground.
Jin catches his balance, and looks around the room. He spots her a few feet away leaned against the wall. "Now you know that was not fair.." he says with a chuckle. "But don't get the wrong idea about me. I may be a perv and very easy to seduce, but I'm not like most guys. I don't want get involved with anyone, sexually or otherwise. I had a serious relationship and it ended badly..." He pauses. "But anyway, if you're not gonna stay because you want to, can you stay for me and keep me company?" He then picks up his guitar, starts playing through some jazz progressions, and rips a little solo.

Karina MasonShe couldn't help but smile at the trick she played. "Sorry, but you were asking for it. Besides, you wanted to kiss me. And I've had many relationships over my lifetime. Most weren't serious. It's hard to love people that will die when you continue to live on forever... Others just wanted a mistress," she replies. Then he asks her to stay. "Sure. It's pretty boring around here. So I guess I'll stay and watch," she says, leaning against the room wall.

Jin laughs a little. "Who said i wanted to kiss you? You're the one who came on to me." He grins a little. "But yeah, that must be hard. Seeing loved ones come and go every generation..." He looks over as her expression seems to be dropiing. "Thats such a negative outlook though, there has to be some postives about living so long?" Fingers through a few chords. Some of the positions that were once comfortable, were hurting is hand to attempt. He does a few finger stretches and says "Thank you for staying. You must appreciate music anyway, you chose to come in the building to listen."
