Seems pretty good, let's take a look..." "God, I hope my avatar's good enough... I mean, what if the people here are really picky?... Let's find out... *looks at some of the threads*..." "Well, most of the people don't seem too bad... I think I'll do a "Rate me" thread, for the hell of it..." "... Ok, type up some relevent stuff... Aaannnddd... Submit!... Oh My God... I'm gonna get flamed! Because of my Elegant Blue Ribbon (Infodump: I looked like this xd ) they'll call me gay even though I have a girlfriend and they'll hate my avatar and... Oh god... Hmm... My 'explorations' weren't as exciting as yours.
Anyways, when I was a newbie, I posted in the GD and practically got stomped on. I can't remember exactly what happened since it was awhile ago, but the experience wasn't pleasent that's for sure.
Also, recently my friend and I decided to try something. We ventured into the Chatterbox, wrote DO YOU WANT TO MAKE FRIENDS? in the title and posted a link to this guild. Our experiment failed xd We didn't even recruit one person.

And so, eventually Missa's hawt new friends got her into the spirit of giving, so she regulared the charity forum for months and months, and lived happiliy ever after.
