Out in the Badlands lies two odd little bases. The closest town is miles away. Most people overlook it as some corporate eccentricity.
Welcome to the place know as...Tuefort.
At this end, the blue paint peels off the weathered concrete in chips, the sun has long since rose, warming the late morning air. Life begins to return and stir within this seemingly decrepit building. This is where our story begins...

Klaus looked around. Anywhere would be better than where hie was. The medic smiled, wandering closer to the base. He held on tightly to the violin case in his hands. It was the only thing he brought...the one thing he begged to bring. It was hot and he know his pale skin wouldn't survive long in the sun. Not that he cared. Klaus looked around before entering the BLU base.
Inhaling the fumes from a cigarette, Demitri walked to the base. His shoes tapped lightly on the land. He had a rather irritated look on his face. It was the heat, something he disliked and didn't have to worry about in the past. He walked to the base to get in the shade.

Benjamin took a deep breath as he made his way into the BLU base. He had his sniping rifle slung over his back, and he was occasionally checking his watch. "Dammit, it's broken..." He muttered to himself.
"... Good morning... Smith." A cold voice said from inside the base.
When hearing the familiar voice, Benjamin let his rifle slide out of his grasp and onto the ground with a loud clattering noise. He looked to where the voice was coming from, and saw a dark-haired man reading a book. "... So, why're you here?" Benjamin asked, a shiver running through his spine.
"Eet shouldn't matter, Herr Smith." the man said, shutting his book. He eyed the Sniper with his empty blue eyes. "I'm here to give zis team medical assistance, und zat's all. If you get in my vay, you'll regret eet. Und zat's my final vord."

The Engineer had at last found her way to the new base. She was already lugging in her multitude of luggage, including tool boxes. She glanced sidelong at Benjamin, who was apparently having trouble with a watch, and later speaking to a Medic. She turned and ended up walking past them, her face obscured by goggles and a bio-mask that looked more fit for a Pyro.

K the eager scout dashed towards the base, excited to meet her new team mates. She imagined it would be great, working together with them. Happily the young girl walked into the base. "Hello!" she greated loudly.

Leo walked into the base, slightly behind K, careful not to make a sound. He wasn't sure how he would do as a spy, so it would test it out by being a fly one the wall. But at her yell, he jumped from the unexpected sound and making his suit case fall with a loud "thunk". Leo panicked and rushed to pick the case up and hope she didn't notice.

Isabella heaved a sigh as she wandered into the base. A new job. New people. She was not too fond of the thoughts. It always took her forever to trust people but she would have to attempt to trust her team mates quickly. She heaved the blue tool box upon her shoulder, left hand gripping the handle tightly as her free hand carried a bag. Her hard hat was falling askew upon her head. "Dang it."
Marissa strolled with a leasurely pace with her hands resting on the back of her head as she headed for the kitchen. It had been a long train ride, and she was starving. "They better 'ave some vegemite." Was her remark as the tall woman entered the kitchen and looked about.

He walked around for a bit, deeper and deeper into the base. The medic tilted his head and looked around, unsure where he was. Klaus wasn't the person to roam alone. He was already lost. Maybe someone will find me and help me out... The medic sat against the wall and took out the instrument. He readied the violin and the medic played.
The spy walked into his room, quickly knowing where it would be. He smiled as he sat on the bed and disposed of his used cigarette. His eyes glanced to the side when something shiny hit his vision. There was a revolver on his bed...and a note.

With an irrated growl, her hard hat fell to the floor with a clunk, followed by her tool box as she dropped it to the ground so she could retreave the hard hat. Isabella stopped in her tracks however at the sound of music playing. Slowly she plucked up the safety hat and sat herself down upon the tool box, a gentle smile gracing her lips.

And another new morning... Another bloody bright new morning...
A single listless grey eye peered out from a small square window that gave an unhindered view of the courtyard below. Despite the morning's calm start, the mind of Dexter Janiczek was already wallowing in a growing sense of unease. It was a quiet day with near ideal conditions for anyone with a yearning to slack off and just enjoy themselves. It was these kind of days that would almost certainly call for an initiative of an attack. It's these sort of set-ups that he had come to despise the most about living here. One minute, he'd be relaxing with a cup of tea, then the next reeling from a sudden blare of alarms as that announcer woman's voice raged through the intercoms. With no way to gauge when such events would take place, he found the safest thing to do was expect the very worst from the start.
Pulling away from the window, the doctor turned his attention to the rest of his small office. His desk, normally kept rather tidy was now a cluttered hazard of books and notes. Remnants of a late night study binge after having not been able to remember some old case files. Within minutes, the desk was cleared and the bookshelf was full again allowing Janiczek to worry about other matters of equal or less unimportance.
One such matter was the way his stomach was sounding off an embarrassing growl. With a sigh, he grabbed his lab coat and exited his office located near the back of the main infirmary upstairs to make his way to the mess hall for a late breakfast. The trek took him to the lower basements of the base, but as he turned a corner, a range of melodic notes began to mesh with the steady hum and random beeps of the computer mainframes he passed by.
..Music..? Forgetting about his hunger, Janiczek decided to follow the sounds of strings, only to come across a woman sitting on a large toolbox. A new Engineer, hnh...? Well... she seems pleasant enough.
"G'mornin'." he greeted with a thin, crooked smile as he took a few steps further into the room before letting his gaze wander towards the other end of the hall from where he believed the music was drifting from. "Curious start to the day, innit? What wit' the music an' all... Nice though..."

The desert wasn't much of an environment to have a nice stoll through. As Rabies found out, from his trek to the base. He wore the army fatigues he had kept from his short time serving, the green easily sticking about amongst the yellow.
When he finally made it to the base, he began a quick seach for the shower room. It didn't take long to find said room, soaking even his clothes in a shower of cold water. He stood there for some time, finally turning off the water when he felt.
Soaking wet, he left a trail of water towards where he had spotted the sleeping quarters. He didn't care which room, and simply picked the first unoccupied room, shutting the door behind him.

Curly brunette locks bobbed with each sway of her head in beat to the music. A serene surrounding with the mechanical beeps that she adored so much, being an engineer and the soothing sound of a violin being played well. Her thumbs rubbed over the inside of her hard hat that was rested upon her lap.
It was saddening to have a voice interrupt her pleasant time, none the less she was not a rude person. Ignoring the doctor was out of the question. "Good Morning." A polite response, although there was the tiniest hint of irritation to be heard in her sweet voice. Her goggled gaze lifted, craning her neck to look up at the man.
"It is pleasant, yes. However it is not the start to the day. At least not for me." Always the type to wake up early to get work done. That was if she had slept at all. Sometimes knowledge was a burden that would not let her sleep. Last night was one of those nights. The starting of a new job for a curious company. The circles under her eyes would tell of her lack of sleep if it were not for the fact her goggles were hiding them.

"Hm?" Hearing the heavy sound, K turned behind her, whipping out a bat. "Oh!" She was surprised to see it was a BLU, not a RED sneaking up behind her. "Jeez man, don't sneak up on someone like that, even if you are a spy. I almost bashed your head in!"

The music stopped for a brief second and continued after the medic stretched. Klaus took in a breath and played again. His eyes looking from side to side. He started to talk quietly to himself. Something about not being alone any longer. "I hope so..." he muttered

Leo yelped as the bat went near his head. "Sorry, I guess I just wanted to practice, I'm kind of new to this whole thing," he rubbed the back of his head nervously. "I'm Leo,"
