Is it a Sin to do a witchcraft? (like doing rituals out out of thing and words and stuff and singing songs that no one hardly ever understands! )
And... what is the difference between Wiccans and Pagans? I read the bible and saw that it mentions the word Pagans.
another one, Is it true that Catholicism have a adopted or parts or resemblance of Paganism? How true is it?
last of all : Can you give me some verses considering Witchcraft?
tnx and have a nice day! heart 3nodding

I don't believe witchcraft is a sin but my opinion might be influenced due to the fact that many of my friends and my girlfriend (yes I found one), are practitioners of Wicca.

The bible says 'suffer not a witch". Not sure what the difference is between wicca and pagan. They both worship many false gods and goddesses. The catholic religion has been called "plaguerized paganists. That's the best i can offer. SARLO could tell you more.

1Samuel 15:23For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. 2Chronicles 33:6And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.Galations 5:19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Galations 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Yes, witchcraft is most definitely a sin. Hi there. Yes, partaking in witchcraft is considered a sin. Whenever, people in the Bible performed witchcraft, it ended with God punishing them.
James 3:15 states concerning witchcraft: Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil.
Although even back in the days, people turned to sorcery and witchcraft and divination, for believers it was a sin.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12: Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, (11) or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. (12) Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you.
Deuteronomy 18:14: The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so.
As for the difference between wiccans and pagans, I'm not too sure about that one, but I read it as pagans are those who don't worship in the God of Abraham, and I guess wiccans are among them.
I don't believe that Catholicism have adopted elements of paganism. Their masses are somewhat ritualistic, which takes away from the personal relationship between you and God; and the Bible never required Mary to be worshipped or prayed to, but that is not related to paganism.
