Blood: Pureblood; his mother was muggle-born and his father pureblooded. He..simply puts Pureblood on all forms since, it's too confusing to say otherwise.
Wand: An Eleven-Inch Hemlock with a Chimera Scale for it's core. It's Springy as well.
History:Benjamin Blunthorn was born from a Pure-Blood father who married a pureblood woman, regardless he grew up a skilled Wizard eventually falling in love with a muggle-born witch, Monet Hughey. The two went onto to become married and had a son named Buchanon, after Benjamin's pureblooded father. The two probably have their own stories, but...are they truly important when compared to the upcoming generation?
Buchanon, or 'Buck', would say that his life didn't begin until Hogwarts. His mother raised him in Muggle culture, trying to keep the magical aspect of him something of a secret to the boy; he went to normal school, made normal friends and did everything mugglish. She knew the evil forces that lived their and, frankly, didn't want her only child to fall victim. It was only a matter of time until he showed that if he didn't hone his potential it could mean the harm of those near him, that and the letter came in. Oh the letter..
On getting said letter, Benjamin immedietely had Buck sent off to Hogwarts. Seeing it as a sign that there was true potential in his son, after some convincing it was inevitable. Buck was enthused about the idea wholeheartedly, he was actually going to be a wizard. Spells. Brooms. Werewolves. Dragons. This was truly going to be amazing.
That was his thoughts anyway, a few backfired spells and bad potions changed this though. He almost dreaded Hogwarts until, that Summer. Where, when he realized just how amazing what he could do was compared to what Muggles believed was amazing. That was when he fell in love with magic and went back to Hogwarts his next year with high expectations of his next year. That was also the year he discovered Quidditch. Each year after hasn't been much different, and now gearing towards his later years in Hogwarts, he aims to MAKE it something noone will never forget.
Personality: He wasn't sorted into Gryffindor house for nothing; some aspects of his personality are outright points of the house's stereotypes. He's an outgoing person, feeling comfortable almost around anyone at any time at any place, nomatter he'd still be the same charismatic character. He's also easily excitable, getting a kick out of near anything. Good news, sounds better through his ears, nearly everything becoming a lifetime accomplishment if he did it right. His overall happy-go-lucky persona, is evident in his daily life. Buck takes nearly everything in stride, the littlest compliment can make his day, and worst of things has little to no affect on him. Buck is almost the embodiment of a Cheering Charm, easily able to move a person to happiness rather easily; further more can cheer the entire Quidditch team on himself. {He's the one in the crowd wearing no-shirt with body-paint on supporting his team, whilst on the wrong side of the crowd} While he may not be the brightest, he takes almost anything a person says or does as he would himself, if someone proposes an idea he doesn't understand, they'd get a pause...with an "Awesome" following behind it.
Buck has a competitive streak as long as the eye can see, if he has reason to think anyone has challenged him, he'd take it as a personal challenge to better himself and go along with it. This is mostly seen in Quidditch, when playing Keeper, he takes the game very seriously, 'nuff said. Bold as well, Buck is usually the one student you'd hear yelling out a rude remark during a lecture, just for the fun of it. From mixing random ingredients just to 'see what would happen', to leaping atop an untamed Hippogriff just for kicks. It's all in the rush.
Buck can be rather obnoxious sometimes, and being loud doesn't help that. If you didn't notice, he isn't small...so he has no qualms with utilizing his size. He doesn't get angry easy, but when it does happen it's hard to stop him. Though it isn't healthy, Buck believes in 'an eye for an eye'.
Pet: A Horned Toad named "Gruff" for his disposition.
Position: None as of yet.
Other: He goes by 'Buck' not Buchanon, not Bob, or Orion [though the latter is quite cool], he's also TERRIBLE, awful with Mystical Creatures, Griff being the only animal he can stand. He has an...'authoritarian' approach to animals and creatures, so...that tends to problems. Also; he's terribly afraid of accidentally splinching. One key fact of Buck is his affinity for Potion Making and such; surprising on his limited intellect. Whether it's his openness to try any concoction or simple luck, but so far he's proven an excellent alchemist.
