I'm tired of spending all my time managing animals that aren't even mine. I know I supposed to watch my mom's house but this is ridiculous. She just expects too much! She never even asked if I would do it. Everything was decided for me. I don't even LIVE here! (and s**t like this is the reason for it). Everyone just assumes that because I don't have a job, I'm available every time they need a favor. That is what this is a ******** FAVOR! She seems to think that she is doing me a favor by allowing me to do this, which pisses me off even more.

I can't ******** do ANYTHING because her animals will destroy the house if I'm gone too long. Her cats puke everywhere, her dogs get into the garbage every time I leave the room, her cats piss in the laundry, her dogs chew on the doors, there is cat hair on EVERYTHING burning_eyes

On top of all this there is the LIST of s**t that she expects me to do while she is gone. That's right I'm doing HER a favor and she is demanding that I do the housework while she is gone. I'm not talking about just cleaning up after myself and not blowing up the house. Vacuuming every day, watering the lawn every day (at least that one makes sense), starting her Vespa every other day, not leaving the dog outside (I consider this a chore), oh the dog needs to be fad 3 times a day and I can't just leave a pile of food because she will eat it all and then vomit, also she will eat it all so the other animals won't get any food.

A lot of these things make sense and they do need to be done but I don't understand why my brother can't do it. He LIVES here, I don't. This house isn't my responsibility. Yes, my brother is on the river working but he doesn't work 24/7. He can come down and mow the lawn (like he is supposed to be doing but doesn't) HE can come and feed HIS ******** dog, he can vacuum. I shouldn't have to sacrifice my summer because my mother insists on giving my brother a free ride.

Most of the problem is my brother's dog. She is completely unmanageable. She is the reason someone has to ******** LIVE here while my mom is on vacation. If it wasn't for her the other animals could be left outside and checked on every couple of days. But because my brother had to have a German Shepard, and then no one bothered to train her, that isn't possible. He needs to take care of his own dog!

Sympathies, my friend. I felt similarly except about my brothers. I didn't want to raise them, but with two working parents, I was the eldest and it fell to me to do all the housework and the farm work. Those of us who actually have a sense of responsibility always seem to be taken advantage of. stressed

And about your brother's dog...I believe that untrained is unloved. **headshake of shame**

Yeah, I feel kind of bad because everyone but my brother doesn't like her because she is so annoying. I've been trying to get her somewhat trained just so that I can stand having her in the house. I can't just leave her in the 95 degree weather even if I don't like her. It's too hot.

Yeah you'd probably do yourself (and your brother) the biggest favor just by training that dog.

How old is she?

I'm not sure. Maybe 6 to 8 months. I've done a few things. She no longer tramples me when I try to give her food. She sits down and waits until I'm done. She also leaves my cat alone now. I'm VERY happy about both of those things.

She's actually calmly sitting next to my chair right now. I think that most of the problem is that no one is ever here and when they are here they are too tired or don't have time to deal with her.
