Greek Mythology To help Cronus achieve his goal Gaia produced an adamantine sickle to serve as the weapon.
The Adamantine Accord consists of dozens of liberated worlds and systems trying to overcome 3000 years of radical religious rulers. The extremist government, known as the Congregation collapsed under the weight of it's own heavy handed reign. A conglomeration of worlds with progressive ideals have bound together to charter a new government and a new way of life in the Cronus Galaxy.
You create and run your own planet, through an ambassador you report on its status, it's growth and there is even trade conflict and interplanetary spying.
Remnants of the old Congregation still exist and some powerful multi System organizations cling to their oppresive past. Perils also enter from rogue worlds of barbarians, gangsters, and criminals of all kind.
The Adamantine Accord has been called to order. Our first issue of business is to establish an international charter, let the deliberations begin.

The Rules
The sky is the limit and you can create whatever you want. If you want to manage a world of vampire lesbians go ahead, however if you try to run a world of gods we will ridicule you and strip them of all their power. You can also be evil.
Eventually we would like to start off with a planetary profile for each member that included:
-form of government -type of planet (gaseous, liquid, earthlike...) -major indigenous race -role under Congregation rule (i.e. was it a mine planet, military base, volcano highrises etc...) -pictures are encoraged, and sometimes rewarded.
It's also fun to discuss methods of transportation, types of trade, mythology, history, etc.
The point of view you take is as ambasador for your planet, you may run for president if we have one, and your planet may apply to be the capital. You may even create a mule to act as ambasador to handle trades and recieve prizes from other iniatives.
Once the subforum is more established your planet will have it's own thread, you can invite friends to interact and ad we establish activities that cause other users to do so.

A Brief History of the old CongregationThe Congregation was a large oppresive governement that spanned an entire galaxy. It was not war that caused the collapse of the Congregatoinal Government, but mismanagement and corruption. Rulers not only pilfered the working class, they took from each other and their banks, the government became so poor it could no longer afford a military nor police forces. Member planets simply declared independence and no voice could arise to challenge or douce the flames of freedom. Many planets of the core Congregation still exist, they are stong and they are proud, and they do not recognize the soveriegnty of the "dissidents". War will be coming

Planet LB-1748 Location of the future signing of The Adamantine Accord, and the creation of a new government Soon to be renamed education planet LB-1748 * is pleased to sponsor these initial meetings of The Adamantine Accord. In accordance with the full disclosure clause, we were selected as host city for these proceedings under the following provisions. a. To not petition to be "capital" planet b. to not provide any ambassadors as candidate for "head of state" We are sure you will enjoy our accomodations at LB-1748 * and think of us as a respite in your future endeavors. *We will soon be choosing a new name once our planet establishes it's own from of governmentAbout LB-1748 LB-1748 stands for Library Planet 1,748 of the Congregation (though only 50 other Library planets were in the known universe). The planet was mulit-use but it's primary purpose was for the education of lesser species by the Congregation, not religious indoctrination, but basic education principles, it is populated mainly by teachers and instructors. Comprising a population that is 80% human, LB-1748 is currently undergoing internal termoil over very controversial matters regarding such issues as form of government and land ownership. None of the turmoil is violent, but there is great debate. More news will be forthcoming in the following weeks, as well as information on our industy, and trades.

Planet : Sauterne Over a 95% of the planet is covered in water. Small islands can be found around the world, with a small percentage of humanoid kind of life forms on them. Most of the population of the planet are acuatic humanoid species, found living underwater on big comunities. The land population are quite friendly, while the underwater counterpart are a bit mysterious and rarely consent on interaction with outsiders of the planet. Most of the planet is based on research and science. Planet has requested to be classified as Neutral. (( Images were found on google, they do not belong to me, I just used them as reference as to how I imagine this world to look like))

Planet: Meta III Major indigenous race: The Metans are a humanoid species. Their skill in technology has earned them many perks, such as mecha fighters to help them defend themselves against other possibly hostile races. Having genetitic alterization technology is also a big plus, as the females were able to outlive the male sex, who were killed by a virus only affecting the 23rd X chromosome, and were still able to reproduce via said genetic alterization technology. Role under Congregation rule: Production of mechas for use by more militaristic planets. Pics of mecha: ((Found with Google. I do not claim these images as mine. I am nowhere near this good at drawing mecha.))

Planet: Atlanteron Planet Type: 90% Surface Water with other 10% Being chains of small islands. Government: Republic Indigenous Race: Humans. No Native Sentient Species Exist. Role: Ship Yard and Shore Leave hub About: Atlanteron was inhabited by Human over 300 years ago. They eventually grew into a prosperous and self sufficient culture, making money by using their artfull skills to make wonderfull pieces of art for sale. Soon however, they fell under the fist of government needs. In exchange for galactic government building teams to make resorts for military shore leave bringing more income to the planet, the people of Atlanteron would build weapons and ships. Using their artistic talents, the men and women began building on their first big challenge, the Orbiter VII Research Station. The O5RS was, and still is, a major scientific research station which can be moved by thrusters to any location in need of scientific study. Soon after, the Military wished them to make ships, and they did. These ships consist of: Auron Space Canons Chuthor Class Cruisers Zious Class Battle Ships After these ships where built, the Military soon wanted surface weapons. This included mechs and Electron Canons Even though the people of this planet have made many weapons which no doubt have terminated many lives, the people of Atlanteron did make one very important thing, the Dreadus Navigational Array. The Array allows for ships in over half the galaxy to know exactly where they are and what planetary bodies are near by.
