Assassin's Creed
Many poeple have left their mark in this deep war against the templars and thier twisted veiws. Men such as Altair, Enzio, and Leonardo Da Vinci. However, the Templar force is vast and ruthless. Also, due to their wealth and influence, they completly outrank assassins in terms of power. But the Assassins never give up, they have followed the templars on their "missionary" Trips and have established bases on all continents in the world.
There is at least one base in every country, but there are four main bases. One in Rome, one in Asia, one in Africa, and one in the middle east. Each one of these four bases has a leader, and those four leaders are in charge of all the other bases in the continent and form the council of assassins.
The job of assassins in each region is to go on missions and distroy any Templar threat to royalty, people who hold power, and if they are targeting innocent people or other assassins. Since there are lead templars in every country, however, it is difficult to stay in unison. So there is one assassin from each of the four bases in all bases, plus the other recruits.
