A large building dug in on a US millitary base. The IDSO building was built in recognition of its services and promoted service in protecting not only the US, but mankind as well.

A nearby soldier looked over the newcomer and took out his radio. He mumbled something in it and then carried on as usual. A few moments later, a group of soldiers approach Pyroman, led by a tall man with several medals pinned to his uniform and Five stars spanning across his shoulders on both sides. All the soldiers were armed with assault rifes and assumed attention on command. The man stepped up to Pyroman and looked him over. "What's your business here, son? We don't let delinquents go rampaging my base!" His hands remained behind his back and he glared on at Pyroman, awaiting his response.

The man looked him over again before taking out a strange spectacle. He glanced through it and examined Pyroman from a short distance. He could see that this boy was genuine material, and may have a chance at joining the IDSO unit. He had his doubts, however, but he would soon see the reason he was called here. He got a message from captain Loyde about another recruit with abnormal capabilities. He removed the spectacle and let it drop to his side, as it hung by a string. "Alright, son, but if I catch you parading around like that again, you'll be shining up shoes for 48 hours. Is that clear?" He didn't expect a reply, as he turned himself around to signal his escorts to head back towards the base. They all turned around together and started marching. At this time, the man turned back around to face Pyroman again. "You will address me as general Evans, and you will remember that. Now follow me."

The two escorts turned their rifles to Pyroman's back as he swung in front of General Evans. He raised his hand to signal them not to fire. He kept his arm in the air as he looked back down to Pyroman. "I hope your a quick learner, kid, cause if you do another stunt like that again, don't expect anything less than a couple pounds of lead pouring into your body." He lowered his arm slowely, nodding his head to the escorts to continue onward. He thought a moment before deciding what to do with the boy. "IDSO test area. We'll find out If you're as skilled with your gift as much as you are with your mouth. Now tell me, son, what is it you do?"

The general thought a moment before whispering in a nearby officer's ear. The officer signals two patrollmen to arrest the boy, while Evans watched him from a distance. They had reached a safe clearing in the test area, so now was time to see what the kid could do. "I wan't to see you're combat skills, not whatever you do in your spare time. Now hop to it!" With that, the officers and patrollmen stepped back and waited. Targets were set up and ready, and all was signaled 'clear'.

Evans was slightly impressed by the way he was able to attack and destroy multiple targets while restrained. His hands were bound together by two sets of titanium handcuffs behind his back. For him to still be able to pull a sword from somewhere and hit targets of any kind, it was... presentable, but he was still looking for something. He obviously knew how to fight, why would IDSO consider him unless he had a special abillity that proved vital to the success of any mission. Preferrably the current one.

Aparently, this kid's abillity was to resist any physical damage and not be effected by it much. Something like that would require that any damage he recieves from supernatural or heavy attacks would turn him to pulp. All around, he was judged 'ok' and paperwork was ordered to be done to conceal his identity and make him 'invisible' to the outside world. "You did alright, kid, you're IDSO material, but the question is, what to do with you." He spoke to a few officers and a file was placed in the general's hands. He flipped it open and read over it. A few more murmurs were traded before he closed it and handed it back. "I tell you what... I'll let you pick what you want to do here, but under one condition... learn to keep your mouth shut when ordered, and don't blow your cover when your outside of this base! Is that clear... soldier?"

A few officers started to chuckle. General Evans glanced at at them with a stern look and they stood back at 'attention'. He turned his attention back to the kid. "Very well... your first mission starts now. There's a fix on the location of a mysterious cult that we think may be a weapon cache. I want you to go there and find out for sure. We cant risk collateral damage and we're already borderline on civillian caualties. Find out what you can and get out undetected. If you are, however, do what you must to get the hell outta there."
