A large, well-kept garden behind the castle. Within are many small sanctuaries and fountains, and the entirety of the garden is fenced in by a tall, brick wall. There is a secret trap door within the tallest sanctuary that leads directly down to the third floor basement, the labrynth, but one must have one of the two copies of the key to enter or leave the small building; one held by the captain, and one by the minotaur in the labrynth.

The trap door leading deep into the castle basement swung open with a creak as Nemo pulled himself through. He squinted at first not quite prepared for natural light of any sort. He dusted himself off and waited for his eyes to adjust so that he could get a better look at where they were. "Well now ain't this a sight." It was needless to say that Nemo rarely got to enter a garden of any sort that wasn't just a collection of stubborn cacti that somehow survived. But all of this gathered here begged one very distinct question, "Okay I get why people have gardens but why would you hide one in such a way." Of course this was only confirming his theories on the captains very many secrets that he had yet to discover. Perhaps he should actually start researching and snooping around about this woman, but were these things that he actually wanted to know.

"Hiding?" she questions, climbing out after him. Brushing off her jacket lightly, the captain looks at him in askance. "How do you suspect I hid such a large garden? Just because you hadn't found it doesn't automatically mean that it was hidden." she points out, pulling a small brass key from her pocket. Moving towards the door, she unlocks it and ushers the bandit through. Locking it behind them, the captain stands with her hands on her hips, facing the expansive garden. Breathing in heavily, she seems pleased to be in the open air again. Glancing at Nemo casually, she sweeps her arms outwards to indicate their surroundings. "Welcome to the castle gardens. There are about a half dozen entrances, not including the one we just used. That one is a secret, and I would appreciate it if you kept it that way."

Nemo smiled slightly, "Why of course? Have I ever let one of your secrets slip my dear?" Well he hadn't intentionally. There were far more powerful mind readers in the world that might could have gleaned something off the surface of his mind, like Puckey for instance. If that were the case though he would not have given anything intentionally or willingly so he was still without fault or blame. Yes it was nice to be able to rationalize things in such a way that you were never the one to blame. "So does that mean that Gregario comes out to play from time to time, or does he just have a key for safety's sake." Nemo knew full well that no one would be foolish enough to try and wrestle a key like that from either Neciel or the minotaur. If someone tried though Nemo would have liked to witness the occasion. How often was it that you got to see either a minotaur lose or an idiot beaten to a pulp. Not often for Nemo at least.

"I suppose you haven't." she responds, looking faintly amused. Stepping forward and weaving her way through tall hedges and shrubs, the captain finally stops in a small clearing with a fountain, a few metal benches surrounding it. Moving towards one, she seats herself so that she takes up the majority of the bench, her legs stretched out and crossed on the patterned metal. "Now that my chores are out of the way, what do you wish to do, Nemo Blackheart? You can't possibly be enjoying your vacation following around little old me and helping me feed my pets." she smirks, leaning her arms so that her forearms rest on the thin metal armrest.

Nemo's eyes shifted around for a bit examining the area, "Somewhere private and by private I mean a place where those gifted with foresight won't accidentally run across us and silly serpents and psychics won't eaves drop on us. Now tell me my dear Neciel, in all of this land of yours is there even such a place. I mean from what I've seen the answer is quite obvious." He had been waiting for a private moment for some time but it had not come. To be honest parts of it had been quite irritating. Seeing as there were no more chores and no more people to possible go visit now was as good a time as any. He remained standing looking down at her as was usual. His hands were rested on his hips, "Well care to prove me wrong my dear?" A sly smirk made its way across his face complimented with a sharp look in his amber eyes.

"You search for a private spot while standing in a small corner of the castle gardens, which are about as large as the castle itself, where all is quiet?" she shakes her head, smiling faintly. Taking notice to the look in his eyes, she raises an eyebrow, though her smirk stayed in place. Drawing her knees up to her chest, the captain wraps her arms around her legs to hold them in place. "What is it you are after, Nemo Blackheart? There is an extremely suspicious look in your eyes. I am almost worried." the last bit is said in jest, as she was hardly worried about anything he could do, but she was still heavily suspicious. Tilting her head slightly, she eyes him carefully. Something was up, or maybe she was just completely oblivious.

"Well so long as you don't think we will be interrupted." Nemo sat on the bench next to her and rummaged around himself to produce a black satin pouch with the image of stalking Caracals stitched in silver. "Not too long ago I met with some of my tribe to partake in a ritual. It's similar to the tattoo one in importance for a man but not as mandatory. In fact the bet was that I would never partake." He untied the tender laces that held the pouch shut and removed from it a bracelet of white gold. The clasp was in the shape of two feline heads though they were small for the extensive amount of detail but into them seeing as the entire thing was rather thin. Inset into the bracelet was one round cut blood red diamond that, despite the color, was perfect. "This is the result of that ritual. You see the color of the stone is a result of the ritual. You see it is quite common where I am from for the men to be constantly gone from here to there which has always affected relationships they try to form adversely. I guess that I am of no exception. So that is why this ritual was created. When a man is willing to resolve himself to one woman but isn't ready to go too far there is this. If you accept this small token I will be connected to you through spirit no matter where in this world I am. You will know when I'm near or far, alive or dead, even if I'm chasing after another woman, and as a trade off if you ever are in need of me I'll know and I'll come." He rubbed his thumb over the small gem his eyes shifting over to her, "So yes I have been up to something this entire time but every time I've had the chance we have been unceremoniously interrupted. If you say yes you may have it, if not I'll be forced to hold on to it and try again later. So?" Okay so Nemo was no where near ready to enter anything like an engagement but he knew that he seemed to prefer Neciel above the rest. In fact it could be said that he felt something for her that he hadn't felt for any other. So it was simple to say that he was willing to forsake all other feminine attractions for her, if she would only accept his offer.

The captain watched him curiously, shifting only slightly as he began to speak. He pulled a pouch from his pocket, and the captain's eyebrows shot up. He was most certainly up to something, with a bag like that. It was fancier than anything she had seen him carry on his person, but it wasn't as if he couldn't own such a thing; quite the opposite really. Even after the initial surprise of the strange bag, she soon finds what sort of object would call for such a thing.
Her eyes widen slightly at the object within, and she turns her attention to his face. She looks back to the bracelet in his hand, now knowing the it's true meaning. Neciel purses her lips, figuring for herself where the coloring from the diamond came from, and just how it would connect them. It seemed an extremely odd thing to do, but who was she to judge the man's tribal culture? One corner of her mouth tugs down as she realizes the bet against him on this ritual, meaning either his tribe never expected him to find a woman, or never expecting him to find a woman. And, knowing him, it was definitely the second option. Her expression softens ever so slightly, knowing that she had won out over this bet, and her eyes flash in obvious triumph. She looks him in the eyes now, her mouth twisting into a corss between a smile and an amused smirk. "Try again? Whatever makes you think I would say no?" the most surprising part about this was that the bandit had placed himself in a vulnerable position, something she didn't think he was fond of. "Yes, Nemo Blackheart, I will accept it."

"Well then let me your wrist." He took it in his hand and gently latched the small clasp with his large nimble fingers. "There we are, a dot of red in a sea of blue." There was a slight spark in the core of the red gem and then it was gone. Well it was working that was for sure. He let out a sigh, "Well then I've done what I came to do, such a long list was so difficult to complete. Oh well it's much better than going to prison that's for certain." He wondered what she planned to do, keep it all to herself or run off telling everyone what exactly had just occurred. Then again no matter what there was one strider who would know without having to ask, and then by connection there was another who would know shortly after. "So then what now my dear?"

Extending her wrist so that he could put the bracelet in place, she looks down at it. She fiddles with it a moment, twisting it on her wrist. She raises an eyebrow at the spark, but didn't ask, as he didn't react to it. The woman lets out a small chuckle at his words, shaking her head. "Yes, that was such a long list." when she hadn't seen him do a thing worth being put on a list; until just now, of course. She smiles again, twisting to extend her legs across his lap. Raising an eyebrow, she looks at him, her amusement still present. "Whatever you wish." she responds simply, making herself comfortable. This kind of question came up often, and they had yet to come up with a real answer.

Nemo thought for a few moments, it seemed that she was expecting him to take sometime to decide on some activity for the two of them, "You know considering the event's of this day I think some drinks are in order. So we go grab some glasses and a bottle of wine and celebrate this momentous occasion. That is if you feel like watching a sun set while drinking with a bandit." He could think of few things to do since finding something to follow up her wearing that bracelet. That was to not mention that he actually liked the sunset here. It was different than back in the desert. Instead of the sky looking as if it had just caught on fire with the cool air of the night coming to extinguish it, it was filled with more colors, the purples were his favorite.

"Again with the alcohol." she grins, shaking her head slightly. Wine and sunsets didn't sound half bad, so she was more than content to go along with it. "And as you keep reminding everyone, you're not just any bandit." she points out, not making any moves to go yet. It seemed the captain had slipped into a slightly lazy mood; it was easy not to do anything when one was content. Glancing towards the sky, she notes that it is edging towards twilight. "Where do you propose we celebrate, then?" she asks, one hand going back to spinning the bracelet around her wrist in an absent-minded gesture.

Nemo's eyes looked upward for a few seconds returning slightly amused noting that Neciel seemed to be adjusting herself to the new jewelry around her wrist. She would just have to get used to it with time. "Well once we have the wine I guess the two best spots would be either in this garden or down by the lake. Either way I do believe that we should have a nice few." He rested his hand on the back of the bench to give him some support while he was waiting for her response. Hell they could sit in one of the castle towers looking out a window for all he cared. So long as he didn't have to leave her just yet. He had a feeling that a bird would come in the next few weeks, they always seemed to come as he was getting settled, so he had to make the best of his time here with her as he could, his desert rose.

It was true, the woman wasn't quite used to the item on her wrist, but it was oddly comforting to simply twist it around her wrist. She glanced back up at him, her attention momentarily fixed on the trinket. "And either way, we still must go in search of the wine." she smiles faintly, swinging her legs off his lap and resting her feet on the ground. Placing her hands on either side of her legs, she pushes herself to her feet. Hands placed loosely on her hips, one corner of her mouth turns up into a lopsided smirk. "Let's be on our way, lest we be stuck with wine and no sunset." not that it really mattered either way, they'd still end up drinking the wine.
