Valentine looked down at the cowering child before him his sword was raised high in the air the child fell to Valentines feet and begged him to let it live Valentine just stared at the child his face stone cold as he flipped the sword in his hand to where it pointed straight down at the child then he plunged the weapon deep into the child the child let out a scream that would deafen any being.

Valentines eyes shot open as he jolted awake by the terrible nightmare from his past he threw the sheets back and he turned to sit with his feet on the floor he rubbed his head and stared at the ground "another dream...."he whispered he looked around the small dusty room in which was located up stairs to a tavern Valentine had rented the room for a night which he hardly ever did but seeing as how it was below freezing out side he would like to keep his toes and fingers.... He stood up and pulled on his cloaths and grabbed his weapon then walked over to the frosted window and looked out at the snowy streets the moons light lightened his face his pale skin made him look deathly ill. and his black hair made him look like a vampire which he wasnt but he didnt care what people thought of him.

{oooooohhhhh whos this seraph? hmmm???}

Valentine looked down the street and saw 3 dark forms he knew they wherent his newest members of the family by the way they carried themselves they where rather sloppy looking and unprepared besides evan the bloodthirsty killers on his trail wherent mad enough to come looking out in this weather....

Valentine walked away from the window and touched the knob on the door when he heard her voice Seraph was here and would probably stay the night. Valentines eyes narrowed as plans poped into his head then he closed his eyes and let go of the door handle he turned and walked back over to the window he pulled up the light chair and sat in it with his head leaned against the window. sometimes bad situations where like storms you could run through them totally blind or wait it out and so the waiting began.

Valentine heard the feet coming up the stairs he outstretched his fingers and a throwing knife slid from his sleeve and came to rest in the palm of his hand ready to throw it just incase anyone decided to drop in unannounced.

Valentine's eyes widened only for a mere moment as a idea poped into his head. As his facial expression went back to his normal one he stared out the window. Thinking of how to take the right steps to make sure this plan went more than great.

Valentine silently stepped out of the window onto the narrow ledge of the roof he reached up and pulled himself onto the snowy roof. He crept over to the next room and laying on his stomach leaned his head down and looked through the window he could see the two boys doing their best with a fire and seraph was sound asleep on the bed it was almost perfect but he would have to wait a little longer before he could continue his plan. He stood up on the roof again and got all the snow off of him so now he looked like a cloaked shadow he crouched down like a cat and waited he also had to prepare mentally for the task at hand after all the perks of being the best killer ever has its down sides especially seeing as how you where given a heart full of sorrow.

Valentine closed his eyes for a long moment he was connecting with his mother.

"what is it my child?"Fray asked her short white hair glowed in the black mist of Valentines subconscious world. "Once again i must do the thing i hate most.....but still it must be done for if i let it go then eventually she will turn into what my late siblings did in the past...."he said looked down with sorrowful eyes. Fray stepped toward him and wrapped her arms around him squeezing him tightly. then she whispered "i'm sorry for creating you you should have been born into the world instead of created like you are but when we where deciding from the spirits of the unborn when i held yours all i knew was that you where different from the others that you would one day prove them wrong and be a hero"she said she started to fade away "my child please to not fall into darkness you must fight to stay in a world of light and pure heats"she said then was gone
