I personally really like ones set at Hogwarts between 4th and 7th year where Harry starts liking Draco for whatever reason. I enjoy seeing humor and Snape here and there being snarky.
Mad props for LuciusxSnape side pairing.

I actually like AU's where Harry was sorted into Slytherin. They're always interesting.

I really like stuff where they are older, around 6th year age. Even if it's AU, I think well-done love potion stuff if my favorite. In fact, I usually hate seeing HOW they get together because I feel like most people can't pull it off well...

I love fics in 6th - 8th year or just out of school. I prefer them a bit wide-eyed when it comes to sex/love. I like dating and the slow development of romance.

It depends... I like a little of everything. If one reads always the same type of stories, it gets a repetitive.
But these are some of the elements that I love: Snape being snarky, Harry being adorable, Draco being conceited, George being funny-protective or Tom being the sexy daredevil... biggrin

I kind of like the ones where harry has a really horrible life and Draco saves him. Or the ones where both boys kind of grow up together.

Well, I like all types. As long as the plot is interesting I can come to like it.
But I suppose if I had to pick, I like the ones where they're still in Hogwarts. And yeah usually I like the ones where they are from 5th to 7th year. And I like to see how they come to love each other but I also like to read about after they realize that they love each other. Like see how their lives are afterwards or if their planning on telling anyone if they haven't already.

well I like the ones where they start to realize their feeling in year 3-6. Or when they try to hide their relationship from everyone. And i even like the Au one like when haryy in sorted or re-sorted in to slytherin or when harry turns dark those are always cool.
I even like a couple where harry is or gets turned into a vampire.
