Since Ianto is my favorite character I figured that I'd start a discussion about him and what I and others like and dislike about him.
Of course it will probably lead into the whole Janto discussion and Ianto over Gwen but no bashing please. Just because one ships Ianto/Jack doesn't mean that Gwen deserves to be bashed.
Actually I ship Ianto with most males so I just basically love Ianto then one pairing. My recent love has become Ianto/11th Doctor. I've been doing an rp about it and i have to say that Ianto and the new Doctor could have a lot of connection.
Why do I like Ianto? He's slick, cool, smart, snarky, has a great sense of humor, has some of the greatest Torchwood lines ever and Gareth David Lloyd is extremely attractive says me. So why do you like Ianto?

He's a great character. The one that keeps Torchwood on time & keeps Jack on his toes.

Ianto rocks!
Funny thing I noticed during the first couple episodes of Torchwood I watched- his actor, Gareth David-Lloyd, shares a last name with me. I nearly keeled over when I realized that. My dad says its a common Welsh name, but hey, I'm part Welsh. Maybe we're related.....distantly.......

Ianto Jones is hands down my favorite Torchwood Character! He is constantly being overlooked and overshadowed but he stays. His story is so sad and in the end he did NOT get the ending he deserved!
