Here's a letter to you Mom
When there's nothing I can do
I can't explain just what I am
And clearly not to you
I've tried and tried again now mom
I simply can't explain
There isn't an excuse this time
I know I am to blame
You don't know me anymore
I won't try to make you see
I am just who I am now mom
There's no one else to be
Please just hear me out now mom
I've got one last thing to say
When I go right out that door
Know you drove me away
I won't say I don't love you
But I won't let you come along
I walk an empty path now mom
But I can't say you were wrong
I always knew you loved me
I always knew you cared
But I have to go away now
So my sanity is spared
I write to say goodbye mom
You needed a farewell
Your one and only daughter
Lovingly from hell
