This is about a guild I made a long time ago and never got anyone to join lol. I had the idea pretty much how this guild is, but more focused around my forte in the coming apocalypse: Zombies. Anything and everything possible included in the word, that's my major focus, and that's what the Zombie Response Unit is all about. And no, though I founded a local militia under their flag, I have not and never will join the national popular version of the ZRU, as they accept anyone for any reason, so long as they'll buy the merch. Anyway.. if anyone is interested, I really need people to help me get this thing going.

I have a Strategy game I wrote based on a para-military unit that takes on zombie outbreaks. It was a lot of fun because it had a lot of tabletop RPG elements, but the platyers didn't really play deep characters so much as they played roles within the squad. for example, a Squad usually consited of 3 sweepers armed with assault rifles, and 2 or 3 specialists.... usually a sniper and a demolitions expert, sometimes a pointman who was armed with an SMG and would scout ahead of the group. or occasionally act as bate. there were also heavier units known as cleaners who were armed with SAWs. no medic because the company's policy was that no infected were allowed back at base. Essentially the game was centered around a virus outbreak that occured in South East Asia. the unit (name withheld for trade reasons) was originally tasked with controlling viral outbreaks and preventing countries from collecting dangerous new diseases and weaponizing them. They had unofficial approval from the UN, and so, rather than the game taking place during a zombie apocalypse, the idea was that this organization would send teams in to prevent a catestrophic outbreak, and also keep this new threat to humanity out of public knowlege.
When I produce it, I hope to make it a bit like the Heroquest (not to be confused with Heroscape) System where there are miniatures and terrain pieces included in a boxed set along with a manual that contains scenarios for a game master to run and explaining how to set the terrain up.
Good times.
