I need to learn guitar and bass. I really want to learn bass but I don't have a bass to learn on. So that leaves me with guitar. I have an old guitar I can learn but I have no idea where to start.
So far, I know 2 chords (C and F) but I have no idea how to transition between them.
Does anyone have any tips or sites I can go to for help?

Maybe try Youtube. And From my experience, one of the best ways to learn how to play an instrument is to just play around with it and experiment and balance that out with instructional reading and videos. Thats what I did with drums anyway.

Thanks. smile I'm usually a drummer so this is a whole new world for me. xd Learning chords, and what the difference is between that and bars.. Oh boy.
Thanks for the pointers guys. I kinda just had a knack for the drums. I don't feel like I ever learned them.. eek So yeah.. all new for me.

My husband lurked in music stores like Guitar Center. The people who work there are really cool about guiding you . He also got a sheet of chord fingerings, and just practiced them for like 20-minute a day, and then found some tutorials for his favorite songs on YouTube. He still can't read music, but he can serenade me a little. ^_^
