Leafdapple groaned "Cedarclaw your so slow, look I already caught a mouse." Leafdapple said, holding it up with her paws.

Twilightpelt padded out of the camp entrance and nodded "Alright. Fogpaw make sure to check for other clan scents we don't need them stealing pray so early into Newleaf." He instructed Fogpaw.

Cedarclaw watched Leafdapple go. OhStarclan let her be safe, he prayed before padding into the forest. He spotted a squirrel and crouched down. He waited until the right moment ad leaped at it. He barely caught it. Cedarclaw slammed his paw on the prey's tail and bit its neck. He smiled and buried the squirrel and padded deeper into the forest.

"We should check the windclan territory. Hopefully if we run into anyone they will be more even tempered." Twilightpelt asked and looked at Fogpaw. "Fogpaw when we get their you will mark the border markers this time. You know how to mark them correctly right?" he told Fogpaw knowing that he would have to know it soon enough.

Leafdapple was pretty confident with herself, she had always been a very good cat at catching prey, this should be easy. Leafdapple scented a squirrel, and saw it half-way up a tree. She leaped for it, and tried to grab onto it with her paws, but then missed, and was falling down, she landed first on her front paw, but then it seemed to give way, landing wrong, and she fell over while hearing a crack, and her own voice in a yowl.

Cedarclaw heard Leafdapple's yowl. "Leafdapple!" he shouted before running through the territory looking for his mate. He soon found her on the ground. "Leafdapple what happened? Oh Starclan I knew I should've kept an eye on you," he said panicing.

Hazestar nodded. "We must do it quickly. That scratch Fogpaw got is pretty bad and I don't want it getting infected," he said padding toward the Windclan border.

"Its fine Cedarclaw." Leafdapple comforted, which she thought was strange that she had to comfort Cedarclaw in this situation. "Its just my paw, i think i landed on it funny, or whatever, but it hurts." Leafdapple said wincing when she tried to move it. Leafdapple got up with her three paws, and started limping.
