My school never had us read that one so I read it on my own many years ago. I kind of forgot a lot about the book but I know that I really liked it at the time. I really like the idea that someone can pick up reading just by watching over someone elses shoulders as the read. However I really wonder what kind of person would punish someone for such high intelligence.

I really enjoyed that book when I had to read it for my English class. Everyone else in my class agreed that it was their favorite book that they had to read for school.

I would have to agree with the above posters. I loved the book, and ended up reading ahead of my class. I was however the only one who liked the book enough to be discussing still with my university friends, 4 years later
