How it works
This is how the guilds are reviewed in GuildSpot. There are five categories, so in order for your guild to be listed as a five star guild then you have to have a 1 in each category. The scale goes from 0.1 to 1 in each of the five categories. For each reviewed guild we have a topic in this subforum. The format for each topic is:
[Guild Name] (Reviewer) -Date Reviewed-
The reviewer will first post a summary in their own words of the guild. After that, the reviewers will list the five categories and state a couple of sentences of how the reviewed guild did in the category. At the bottom of the post the reviewer will post the Overall Rating of the guild and any additional comment he or she may have to make.
The Categories
Activity
How active are the guild members? Does the five latest posts change every thirty minutes or ever thirty days. Does one have have to wait a long time to ever get a reply from a post or no? This section covers everything that has to do with activity of the guild. Dead guilds get a 0.1 in this category and active guilds get a 1.
Crew Ability
How helpful is the crew in this guild? Do they take a long time to respond to PMs? Do they have a attitude or are they rather polite. This section determines whether or not the crew of a guild is responsive and helpful or not. Useless crews get a 0.1 and helpful crews get a 1.
Forum/Guild Design
How well are the forums organized? Is the guild homepage bland and blank? Will new members have a hard time finding things and does the guild have enough subforums? Also if the guild has a stat system, how efficient is it? Intelligent designs will be rewarded a 1 while horrible designs are given a 0.1.
Story/Originality
Even if a guild is based off a tv or game series, is it original or is it just like every other guild based off the same series? If the guild is an original story, how well thought out is the plotline(s). Does everything seem rather bland and repetitive? Are there a million guilds just like it? Are all the ideas cliche? Original guilds will be given a 1 while gray and boring guilds are given a 0.1.
Literacy
This section has to deal with whether or not the guild is for literate people. RP guilds with low literacy levels are ranked lowly in this category. This section is based on majority. If most of the guild is literate but you find a couple not literate members then the guild is judged as literate. If most of the guild is illiterate but one or two members are literate then the guild will be judged as illiterate.
