Wand: 15 inches, Silvery Iron Wood with Magical Blood Crystal core. Hikaru's wand is more of a rod than a wand due to its length.
Sexuality: Bisexual --------------- PERSONALITY [Hikaru is an interesting person to say the least, possessing a very chaotic personality. Not in the bad way, but in the way that essentially means that his personality can massively differ from one second to the next, especially depending on the situation. Considering that he is the son of a Valkyrie princess, it is not surprising that Hikaru is immensely effeminate, not in his style of clothing, but in his behaviour. He is kind and caring for the most part, standing up for females when they are getting pushed around by others. However he also has a dark side. He is merciless, especially when his emotions cloud his judgement. Due to his anaemia and the fact his father was the enigmatic and powerful Blood Mage and Archmage Rei Akatokiyami, it is not surprising that when he is covered in his own blood, he begins to loose his sense of reason, entering a berserker like rage fuelled by blood-lust.
In this berserker rage, he is more dangerous to himself than others, considering the adrenaline that pumps through his veins during the time, and if he is wounded, this tends to increase the flow of blood out of the wounds. A strange thing that happens is when he is in this rage, his normal indigo eyes turn a blood crimson red colour. For periods after this berserker rage, Hikaru is very mentally and emotionally unstable, fearing himself, as he sees the berserker rage as a kind of split personality rather than the influence of the magic burning throughout his bloodstream. Due to the lengths that his father had to go to to keep him alive when he was young, Hikaru has a deep fear of death, not after Rei had summoned Azrael, the Angel of Death and forced him to keep Hikaru from death long enough to bind a lesser Faerie Spirit to Hikaru's soul, mind and body to sustain his life-force, and it doesn't help that the Faerie Spirit in question was one of the darker ones. Whenever someone sees the arcane markings that are spread across Hikaru's body from the neck down, Hikaru starts to freak out, fearing that they might try and find out the reason for them or try and break the seals since they are seals.]--------------- Weaknesses: Effeminate Behaviour, Blood Induced Berserker Rage, Females, Anaemia, Paralysis when he sees a Boggart transform into his fear.
Strengths: Potent Normal Magic, Acrobatics, Dexterity
Secrets: Hikaru is half-Valkyrie, resulting in his possessing partial divine blood due to Valkyries being the servants and dead-collectors of the gods. He also has a dark Faerie Spirit bound into his mind, soul and body to sustain his life-force due to events in his childhood, which also resulted in arcane markings covering his body from the neck down, which he tries to keep hidden at all times. The blood crystal within Hikaru's wand was made of Hikaru's, his father's and his mother's blood, making it fairly powerful when in the hands of Hikaru's direct family members.
Patronus: Hikaru's patronus is a massive white lion, which also seems to be surrounded by silvery faerie fire as it moves. At times, with great amounts of difficulty, Hikaru can manage to ride his patronus like a mount, surprising others.
Boggart: The form the boggart takes when it is in Hikaru's presence is one you would have to be scared of. It is the form of Azrael, the Angel of Death. Azrael takes the form of a tall, pale skinned man with effeminate body figure, but also possessing 6 angelic white wings on one side of his body, and 6 demonic black wings on the other side of his body. Also, his eyes blaze with magical fire and his extremely long snow white hair floats around as well. In addition to this, it is wearing dark blood-red metallic armour of an angelic forging style, while also wielding a large scythe with a blood red blade. The sight of this form, most of the time, paralyses Hikaru with fear, as it reminds him of the lengths that his father had to go to in order to keep him alive, when he summoned Azrael and forced him to prevent Hikaru's soul from leaving his body and entering the after-life, the fear of seeing Azrael in his mind and holding onto him for several hours was scary enough.

Hikaru's body is slim, and feminine in figure, mainly due to the Valkyrie blood that flows in his veins. His figure is seemingly devoid of excess weight, like that of a true elven creature, not the kind of elves that are House Elves, but the ones who are in tune with nature and the like. His hair is extremely long, reaching down to the base of his spine, and is a bright rose-blonde colour, with streaks of crimson to complement the rose blonde hair. He commonly wears this loose, in a natural manner, with it reaching down his front and down his back, however when you look at him, it is very hard to tell that he is actually male because he looks a lot like a female, again due to the feminine body figure due to his Valkyrie heritage and due to his long hair. His eyes are normally a bright and deep indigo colour, a rare eye colour due to the rarity of the mutation in the eye genes that cause it.
When he enters his berserker rage due to blood lust, mainly because of severe injuries, his indigo eyes turn a blood crimson red. His animagus form is that of a White Lion, a majestic creature, and it just happens to be 2 times the size of his normal human form, making it quite impressive. His coat is pure white, with no changes in colour, and his eye colour is the same as his human form, it even changes colour when he enters his berserker rage. However, there is no mistaking Hikaru's gender in his Animal form, as he doesn't show any of his feminine figure affecting his animal form. He is much stronger in his animal form than his human form, a fact that he takes advantage of a lot, when in battle.
However, there is another thing about his human form, something he tries to keep a secret, although most of the teachers and the headmaster knows of this. Across his body from the neck down, Hikaru's body is covered in arcane markings, the colouration of which seem to be that of a birthmark, so it is impossible to tell that these were artificially induced. These are the result of Hikaru's father Rei Akatokiyami binding a dark Faerie Spirit to Hikaru's mind, body and soul in order to sustain his life-force to allow Hikaru to continue to live. The markings have a theme to them that is orientated around the moon, nature and Faerie magic. At times when his emotions run high, these markings sometimes glow or change colour to a glossy white, which kind of stands out when he is unclothed, considering Hikaru's skin is fairly pale, alabaster even perhaps, due to his mother being a Valkyrie.
However, at times, when he is VERY emotional, another trait of his mother's bloodline is revealed. He is occasionally surrounded by an aurora of shifting colours which is very faint but still can be seen, which depending on the emotion, the dominant colour changes. When he is enraged or angry, the dominant colour is blood red. When he is upset, sad and crying, it is a light blue. When he is depressed, it becomes a dark steel bluish-grey colour. When he is really excited, it is a bright green. When he has an attraction to someone or is in love with someone, it is a shade of pink. Hikaru Ayreon Arevai Akatokiyami was born as the only child of the Archmage and Blood Mage Rei Akatokiyami and the Valykrie princess Anya Yasaokyoku. Born in the city of Asahikawa on the island of Hokkaido in the nation of Japan, Hikaru was a very unique child growing up. He was very girly at times, and he looked like a girl, and it was hard to tell that he was actually a boy. However, the only people who could really tell that he was actually a boy was his parents. The cause of Hikaru's girl-like appearance was due to his mother's genetics, being a Valkyrie, male children were very rare, but the male children that were born were very effeminate in appearance, most of the time looking like a girl and hard to tell that they were a boy in actuality. Hikaru's father was caring, but also very wise, teaching him about magic and the like, especially about the mysteries of Blood Mage, of which Rei was the master and most knowledgeable about.
After fainting several times due to very minor cuts and scrapes when he was young, Hikaru was taken to the doctor, and it was soon revealed, that at the age of 3, Hikaru was suffering from anaemia. As a result, he was required to take special medication designed to keep his blood levels up, although he would get very light-headed when he was bleeding. Tragedy struck the Akatokiyami family when Hikaru was only 5 years old. A dark wizard, one of Rei's rivals, had snuck into the Akatokiyami household, and attacked Hikaru with a very unique curse, it wasn't any kind of curse known to the wizarding world today, but it was one that Rei was very familiar with. The spell was rapidly killing Hikaru, draining him of his life-force and making his anaemia even worse. In rage, Anya chased down Hikaru's attacker and impaled him with her Valkyrie Spear. Meanwhile, Rei did something drastic, he wasn't going to let his only child die. Then and there, he managed to do something unbelievable, something that was impossible for most wizards but very difficult for Rei. Rei summoned Azrael, the Angel of Death, and with immense willpower, he managed to force and compel Azrael to prevent Hikaru's soul from leaving his body and passing on to the afterlife.
It was the most scariest thing for Hikaru, as in his subconscious, he saw himself begin hold onto by Azrael, preventing Hikaru's soul from releasing. With the time they had been given, Rei and Anya combined their magical skills to summon a fairly powerful Faerie Spirit named Nyhm and bound the Faerie Spirit to Hikaru's soul, mind and his body, which sustained his life-force, and more or less nullified the curse. However the binding of Nyhm to Hikaru was now permanent, and the resulting effect on Hikaru's body was strange arcane patterns that spread across Hikaru's entire body from the neck down, a symbol of the binding of Nyhm to Hikaru. Eventually, Hikaru recovered from his ordeal, having been paralysed with fear for a week, and Hikaru and his family soon moved to Scotland.
However, Hikaru was very confused as to why he had more of a girl's figure than a male, and when he was 8 years old, Rei and Anya revealed that he was actually Half-Valkyrie, hence his extremely feminine bishounen appearance. Rei continued to teach Hikaru more about magic, with Anya teaching him about his Valkyrie heritage. When he was 10 years old, he received the invitation letter from Hogwarts, which interested Rei immensely since he had made sure that no one would be able to find them through magical means, although they lived near a family of wizards so that was the likely cause. When Rei, Anya and Hikaru went to Diagon Alley to buy his supplies, everything but a wand. His parents prevented him from buying a wand, and the reason was only made clear after they had got everything but the wand.
While they were relaxing in a cafe within Diagon Alley, Rei and Anya gave Hikaru a strange looking rectangular box with gold markings on in. When Hikaru opened it up, it revealed an interesting kind of wand. It was around 15 inches long, longer than most wands and had runes engraved into the wood of the wand. "This wand is something your mother and I made ourselves. I made the core while your mother made the wood around the core. The core is a magical Blood Crystal made of your, mine and your mother's blood, and in the hands of one of the three of us, it is very powerful, especially with certain kinds of magic." Rei explained, and then Anya said "The wood that surrounds the core is a very rare and unique type of Iron Wood, as you can tell by the silvery colour of the wood. The core and the wood are wrapped around each other and bonded together, and it is very strong, and it will take a lot of force to try and break the wand. It is your own custom wand, take good care of it and it will serve you well". Hikaru gave his parents a hug, glad for the wand, which he would eventually learn had a name. Veritas. That was the name of the wand, as it was made through special arcane arts to assist with its creation.
Eventually, Hikaru went on the train to Hogwarts, sitting with a group of people who would eventually become his friends. Most of them were girls but one was a boy. The girls were very interested in the feminine Hikaru, but Hikaru kept the secret of his Half-Valkyrie nature a secret. Although, the annoyance was the stuck-up boys from another compartment who started to harass him for his female appearance, with his friends coming to protect him. When it came to the Sorting of the students, Hikaru wasn't that surprised that the boys who had harassed him were in Slytherin, it was plainly obvious that pretty much all the delinquents were in Slytherin. Hikaru almost freaked out when the Sorting Hat talked, and was surprised that he was placed into Ravenclaw. Maybe because of his father and mother's tutelage of him when he was younger?. His friends were also placed into Ravenclaw, a fact he was glad of. When he finished his first year of Hogwarts, he was taught in the powers of the Animagi by his father, a power he only mastered when he was well into his Second Year, and registered soon after finishing the mastering of it.
His animagus form was that of large white lion, that was 2 times the size of his normal human form, and a feat that impressed a few teachers, although it took a bit of energy to maintain. However, when he was in the 4th Year of Hogwarts, something happened to Hikaru. A Slytherin had been harassing Hikaru in the Great Hall, where there were only a few students, but most of them Ravenclaws. It got to the point where Hikaru was seriously injured by the Slytherin due to repeated casting of attack spells which Hikaru barely managed to evade. Then something happened. Hikaru became surrounded by an aurora of shifting colours, most of the colours being a blood crimson red, and his eyes changed from his normal indigo to blood red. Now the Slytherin wasn't so sure of himself, as Hikaru let loose a massive roar of rage and proceeded to enter a hand to hand fight with the Slytherin, using powerful acrobatic and athletic moves to defeat his opponent, his physical strength far greater than it usually was. Hikaru and the Slytherin fell unconscious, and teachers soon came to the scene, taking them to the Infirmary, getting witness reports from other students. When Hikaru recovered from his injuries, Hikaru was brought before the Heads of House and the Headmaster, who wanted to know what the hell had happened to Hikaru.
Hikaru refused to reveal anything other than the Slytherin had attacked him first, but they wanted to know more of the berserker rage and the arcane markings on Hikaru's body (which had been discovered by the nurses when they were treating his injuries). Hikaru still wouldn't reveal the information they wanted, and they were forced to use a Vertaserum to get the information out of him. They were shocked at the revelation, but Hikaru pleaded with them not to tell anyone, although the Head of Slytherin wanted to reveal this to the Ministry. The Headmaster forbade it, understanding what had happened to Hikaru during his life, as he had been watching Rei's family closely, considering that Rei was one to be feared, even by the Ministry and the Death Eaters and even the Dementors. The Headmaster forced the other Heads of House as well as the other teachers to swear a binding oath to prevent them from telling anyone of Hikaru's Half-Valkyrie blood, the reason for the Arcane Markings and many other things about Hikaru.
And now, to the present. Hikaru is in his 5th Year of Hogwarts, wandering what the future might bring. Although, he is quite attractive to the ladies but hopeless at noticing their obvious affection for him. --------------- OTHER When he is in his Beserker Rage, he is much stronger than he is normally, especially in human form, where he is normally physically weak. The reason is that the rage triggers a large amount of adrenaline to be released through his body, granting him increased strength, and it is quite a lot of adrenaline considering that the majority of the time, the rage is caused due to large numbers of bleeding injuries. .
