~Danni Ozma~ ▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ Slowly, Danni made her way to the Principal's Office. She had already gotten lost once or twice along the way and wasn't feeling confident about finding it anytime soon. As she turned the corner, the teen was surprised to find herself face to face with the door of her destination. She tilted her head sideways in thought. Hesitatingly, she raised her hand to knock but stopped. The blue haired girl wasn't sure if the principal was even in.
"Don't make me wait all day," a male voice said, drifting through the closed door. Danni jumped at it and hurried inside. "I-i'm s-sorry. I-I didn't know i-if you were in," she tried to explain feebly. Her voice was barely above a whisper.
"Now who might you be," the principal asked, setting down the papers he was working on. "I-I'm Danni. Danni Ozma, Sir." She began fiddling with her hair nervously as the Principal pulled out a file from a cabinet. Somewhere, in the back of her mind, she recalled her mother telling her that the principal's name was Walter Blunder. Not that it made a difference. Danni was to nervous to talk.
"Danni Ozma from Sootopolis City, right?" Danni nodded numbly in response. "It says here that you don't have a Pokemon yet. Which one would you?" The girl stared at him dumbly, not comprehending his question. "Which Pokemon would you like as your first," he repeated, speaking more slowly.
Danni couldn't believe it. She had to choose which Pokemon would be hers. What if I make the choice? What if the Pokemon I pick doesn't like me? What if the other students pick on me fore what I choose? Oh I knew I shouldn't have come. She hung her head as her thought assaulted her. Finally, she blurted out the first Pokemon that came to mind, "Swablu."
The Principal smiled and typed a few keys on the computer. A few minutes later, a Pokeball was transported into the room. "Here you go. I know you'll come to be great friends."
She took the Pokeball with a small nod of thanks. She held the ball gently and stared at it. Slowly, she released the Pokemon inside. In a flash of red light a gold colored Swablu appeared. Danni couldn't believe her eyes. She didn't think she deserved to have a shiny Pokemon. She was about to say so but was prevented from doing so. "Be off with you. I have other students coming. Oh and on your way out, there's several bags by the door. Take one. It has several things each student should have."
Danni did as she was told and left with a bag, her first Pokemon following her. She had yet to think of a name for him. We're at: Principal's OfficeLocation Mental state: Nervous Gained: tabSwablu tabPokedex tabPokeball x5 tabPoketch Pokedex:Swablue

◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ ★ _ ★ _ ★ xxxxxxx»xxx( KayleeLane ) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -xxxxxxxxx i'll keep tossin' rocks at your window.xxxxxx♥ ♥ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx A sweet-looking, slim girl of about thirteen walked into the principal's office. In her hand she held a folded, worn-down piece of paper with map of the school. Behind her, she rolled a small suitcase. It had been embarrassing carrying it around the school with her, but she was calmed instantly by the sight of at least 2 others also rolling their luggage around. She had arrived after only a few minutes of brisk walking from her ride down to the principal's office, because for the months ago that she got accepted, she'd been studying the map to make sure she knew exactly where to go if the time came.
A man, aged around thirty, beckoned her in with a hand gesture. He looked down at paperwork. "Err, name please? Oh, oh wait, nevermind. I know who you are. It's a good thing I asked the Vice Principal to put pictures on this attendance sheet. Come forward, Kaylee Lane. Leave your suitcase by the door, though. I don't want wheel tracks in here on the first day." A shy grin appeared on her face at the mention of her name. She removed her scarf and set it on the lone suitcase under the doorway, then left it.
Kaylee cleared her throat. "Um, I was told to come here by the front desk? I-I don't really know why, but..." Her quiet, yet firm voice trailed off, and she looked down at her feet.
The principal looked up, made a straight face, then looked back down to his paperwork, then back up, then back to the papers. "This paperwork is now diamonds. I'm on horse. Uh, yeah! New students are supposed to come here first, to get their first Pokemon, don't you know?" He left his stationary position and got up to a machine. "Hurry up now, tell me which Pokemon you'd like as your partner. I don't have all day." He rolled his eyes secretly, then turned to Kaylee, awaiting an answer.
"I...Uh..." Her mind went blank as she tried to remember what Pokemon she would want. She'd spent the whole summer thinking about what to choose and why, but as the principal asked this she couldn't think of anything else but how awkward she was, and what people would think of her. But something snapped, and she immediately spoke on it. "B-Bulbasaur! That's right, I'd like a Bulbasaur please." She nodded at her decision, then took a deep breath.
Mr. Blunders pressed a few buttons on the machine, and flipped his hair out his face when he lifted his head. He then sat on his desk once again. "While this stupid machine is thinking about the meaning of life, take this time to accept your mandatory starting items." He said annoyedly. As if the machine heard him, it started emitting horrible, loud sounds and smoke. He frowned, then hit the machine with a balled fist. "Ahem, now, Kaylee, what's your aspiration?"
"What? Err, uh I came to this school because I want to be a Pokemon Coordinator." She truthfully didn't know what to say, but apparently it was enough, because Mr. Blunders outstretched his hand. "Very well. Give me your wrist." Kaylee made a surprised face, but put her wrist forward. "Um, oh...okay?" The principal then tied a weird reddish-pink machine around her wrist. It had the time.
Kaylee withdrew her wrist as soon as the principal had finished tying it. "A watch?" She brought it close to her face for inspection. "It's a Poketch. Anyways, take this other stuff, then you can leave." He was rather impatient, it seemed. Kaylee finished looking at the so-called Poketch and grabbed the other items. She was about to ask what they were when Mr. Blunders interrupted her. "If you're not sure what it is, check the student handbook. I don't have time to explain. Besides, there are more new students waiting behind you for their turn. Oh, and don't forget your Bulbasaur." He hit the machine once again, and after an unsettling rattle, a Pokeball dropped from it. Mr. Blunders set it on his desk and waved Kaylee away. She grabbed the handful of items with difficulty, but spied plastic bags by the doorway, probably set here for this same purpose. She took one last look at the principal, then left the room, heading to the dorms next so she could dump her stuff. Quote: XXchanges :XXXXX✖ p o k e m o n XXXXXXXX+ obtained bulbasaur
