Biography: Reikon was born in the east near Resembool, in fact, his home town was next to it. His parents were soldiers in the military and were stationed at the Briggs Mountains up north, so Reikon never got to see then often. He quickly learned alchemy and was extremely skilled at it from a young age. Many of his town thought Reikon's alchemy was very dangerous as he used the water molecules in the air and turned them into all sorts of combat weapons. He even occasionally just turned the water into steam to surround himself and/or others as a way of stealth. He was sent to Central when he was fifteen by his aunt to take the state alchemist exam, but her ulterior motives was to get rid of him because she hated him for a reason unknown to him. When he got to central and took the exam for the first time, he failed because it took too long to draw out the transmutation circles. So as a result, Reikon had both of his arms and hands tattooed with the complex transmutation circles to make things much faster and easier to preform his alchemy. It took him 3 more tries to become a state alchemist. He managed to succeed only because he fused art and technique into his alchemy. Reikon was accepted when he used the water in the air to form multiple tendrils of ice that last out in many directions, all the while, the tendrils looked like rose vines with slightly longer thorns. The frozen tendrils even displayed roses made of on them occasionally. This was how Reikon gained the title: The "Frozen Rose Alchemist".
Personality: Reikon is a very hospitable and polite type of person. He will show respect to everyone, unless one does not deserve his respect. He is also kind to all to some extent. He will always put others before himself to prove that chivalry is not dead, and to maintain his honor. In a battle, he will not taunt his opponent and will try to fight fairly, if his opponent starts fighting dirty, then all bets are off as Reikon will become absolutely ruthless.

Biography: Avalon was born and raised in Central. Avalon's mother died many years back, so she was pretty much raised by her father. Her father was a State Alchemist and taught Avalon and her younger sister Katalina everything he knew. Avalon became a state alchemist at the age of 14. She considered it an honor to serve the military alongside her father.
As the years passed, Ava and Kat were very happy with their life, until the day their father was murdered. The sisters were completely torn up, Kat more then Ava. In her anger and pain, Kat tried to bring her father back using Human Transmutation. Halfway through the Transmutation Ava stopped Kat out of fear for her sisters life, and the outcome was catastrophic. The collision of both the girls alchemy caused a very bad explosion, which took the life of Kat. Ava managed to dive into their fireplace before the explosion occured. She suffered a few bad burns and some trauma but otherwise, she survived. Avalon could never forgive herself for the accident after that day...Months passed and Ava slowly healed on the outside, but not on the inside. She was overcome with guilt and sadness which drove her a little crazy. She even tried to commit suicide... When she couldnt take it anymore, she tried to use a Human Transmutation to get her sister back. But of course, it ended badly... Avalon didnt manage to get her sister back. Instead, during the part of the transmutation where she was supposed to pull her sister's soul through the gate, she could see herself failing... So, Avalon attached her sister's soul to a diamond by heating and compressing two pieces of coal together, but at a heavy cost. Ava didnt loose any limbs or organs, but her flesh and nerves. Areas of skin all over her body looked as if it had just been ripped off, which also caused Avalon to loose all feeling in some parts of her body. Ava also created a Homunculus. It had the appearance and memories of her late sister, but not the life force of her soul...
After that experiance, Ava devoted herself to trying to find a way to get her sister back to normal. For a years she has been searching for some way that she could bring her sister back, but she hasnt had much sucess so far...
Personality: Adventerous, intuitive, kind, and caring. Avalon tries to be the nicest person that anyone could possibly be. She can never resist the erge to help a person in need. Although, behind her usual upbeat attitude, she is often lonely and depressed. She would give her life for her family and friends if it ever had to come to that...
Ever since the accident with her sister trying to bring back their dad, Avalon was never really the same person. She is still very nice after what's happened, but she has still become a completely different person.

Other: Avalon was taught how to fence by a very good friend, and is fairly good at fighting with a sword. Her usual weapon of choice is a pair of crystal short swords. Also, Avalon always wears a silver chain with the diamond that contains her sisters soul around her neck. If you get a good chance to look at the stone, you can see a small blood seal inside the diamond.
After the burns and loss of skin from the transmutation, what is left of Ava's skin is very fragile and any sharp movement could cause her skin to tear. In some area's of her body, mostly around her arms and legs, Avalon has also lost the ability to feel anything.

She became a state alchemist only last year. Last year she traveled to Central and took the State Alchemist exam and passed on her first time. Since then she has been treated as a 'genius' due to her natural ability to use alchemy.

Biography:
Brought up in a wealthy family made her life pretty easy, however the plans that they had for her future didn't sit well with her. As a child, her elder brother explained to her about the world and all that was going on, the wars and strange thing called alchemy. This opened her eyes to everything that she was missing in this sheltered habitat her parents created for her. Slyth never wanted to be tied down and married to some overweight work-a-holic with money like her parents wanted. While her parents thought she was going to school to study how to become a proper lady, she was really joining a teacher on how to use alchemy. Independence and freedom was her goal all along, joining the military was just the first step. At the age of fourteen, she was finally able to escape her parents’ clutches and became a State Alchemist.
Working hard caused her to go up the ranks, not many people have seen her fight at all, but those who have gave her the name Striker Alchemist. Even though she is confident in her alchemy skills she still uses guns and hand to hand combat, her weaknesses are what she has to fall back on. On the spare time that she was actually given, she was able to travel to the mountains by herself. The one thing that everyone knows that she loves is listening to music and watching fights. Music isn’t her passion but she does enjoy it, her passion has to do more with observing fights and strategies. Without really expecting it she was given the rank of Lieutenant Colonel when they decided to start replacing officers. This gave her enough power to be able to search for the answer that she’s always wondered.
Personality:
Though she seems friendly and kind towards others, the real Slyth is serious when she has work related subjects. When in front of her superiors she tries to act older then what she really is, but there are a few that she still messes around with. Her true intentions are always hidden behind closed doors. Slyth is very outspoken and stubborn with those around her, she’s not afraid to state what she is thinking. Her personality spirals out of control when she is faced with sweets; they are her absolute favorite food. Every single person has an anger problem including Slyth; she keeps it under control but when she is pushed over the edge then she acts before thinking.

Biography: Legion was the result of Avalon trying to use Human Transmutation to get her sister back, but instead of restoring Kat, Ava created Legion. A Homunculus with the memories of Katalina Thatcher, but with the life force of hundreds of lost souls. That was how she got the name Legion.
Legion has a rather different idea about what Homunculi are. She believes that they are people who have died, but have been brought back and given a new life. Since she thinks this, she believes that she is the reincarnated Katalina, and that the piece of her past life, Kat's soul sealed in the diamond, should be destroyed. She also has a strange desire to turn her sister into a Homunculus. Though she isnt the real Katalina, Legion has all the old memories and feelings that Kat had when she was alive. So, she feels the attachment that Kat had with her sister, but because Avalon is still human, Legion wants to give her a new life, just as Avalon gave to her. She may not know how to do that yet, but she has her mind set on turning Avalon into a Homunculus.
Personality: Stuborn, outspoken, determined, hot-headed and manipulative. Legion is the type of Homunculus who doesnt like getting bossed around by any 'master'. She acts a lot like a spoiled child, and doesnt stop until she gets what she wants.

Biography: Lucian Van Hellion, the person Vain was before he became a homunculi, existed 400 or so years ago. He was a son of noble blood, so he grew up surrounded by the riches of the world, and his greatest wealth of all was knowladge. Lucian was a very smart young man and had a perticular interest in Science. He had even been taught alchemy at a young age. During his lessons on alchemy, Lucian's teacher told him about a wonderous object that could enhance one's alchemic abilities to an amazing extent... The Philosiphers Stone. From that point on, Lucian studied everything he could on this special stone... And it just happened to be his interest in the stone which led to him falling in love. A young woman named Anastasia, a Countess with a fiery spirit and a love for excitement and adventure. Anastasia herself has become intruiged by the myths of the stone, and she and Lucian went on to study it together... And as luck would have it, the day that Lucian proposed to Anastasia, they came apon a Red Water spring. Lucian and Anastasia couldnt have been happier, but just as soon as all their dreams seemed to be coming true, they came crashing down in an instant... By some freak accident, Anastasia was caught in an explosion while experimenting with some of the Red Water... Lucian however, managed to survive the explosion.
After Anastasia's death, Lucian went into denial, and continueously blamed himself for her death... He felt like he could no longer exist in the world without Anastasia there beside him. But just when everything seemed to be at an end for Lucian, a strange old alchemist came along and told Lucian that he would be able to bring back his beloved Anastasia... But at a certain price. The old man wanted some of the Red Water, which Lucian gave him willingly thinking that his claims to being able to bring Anastasia back were true. The old man also claimed that he would be able to give Lucian eternal life along with his love, so that they could live together forever... And of course, Lucian believed every word. So the old alchemist took Lucian back to his strange castle, located just north of Central in the mountains, and began his strange experiments on the Red Water, which he said had all the power to give Lucian exactly what he wanted... Lucian was the first one to be tested with the process. The man took large amounts of the tampered Red Water and injected it into Lucian. It reacted with his blood, killed him, and gave him a new life... From that day forward, Lucian was no more...
After Lucian had regained himself after the transformation, he expected the man to bring Anastasia back as well, but that wasnt what the old man had in place. He was a very selfish man who wanted to utalise all of Vain's new powers... He sent Vain down from the mountains and into the city where he terrorized the people, killed and stole for the man in order for him to bring back Anastasia. but after many months of doing his dirty work, Vain was heartbroken to admit, that the old man wasnt going to bring Anastasia back... He had even said that it was a miracle that Lucian had even survived the procedure. So, in a outburst of pain and anger, Vain killed the old alchemist and never once left the mountains after that day. He had been convinced that all humans were filthy, rotten liars and scum, but for some reason he had no desire to rid the world of them, mostly because he was still too pained for his loss of Anastasia.
Over the years, Vain "adopted" many stray chimera's and other non-human creatures, alowing them to live in the castle with him... It cured his boredom and lonliness somewhat, but not entirely, for he seeked the company of one person and one person alone... So, when Vain heard from one of his chimera's about many gifted young alchemists in the outside world, he thought that maybe one of them could have enough potential to bring back his love...
Vain now continues to watch and listen to the outside world through his chimera's, and has a few thoughts about finally leaving his castle and setting out into the world that he had left behind so many years ago.
Personality: Vain has a rather strange personality... He often appears calm, cocky, emotionless and quite conceited, but if anything happens to get on his nerves, he could explode in fiery anger... Unlike other homunculi however, Vain is able to feel certain emotions: love, sadness, pain and compassion, but only to a certain extent.

Biography: Before Lie was kidnapped she was a young human girl who lived in Resembool with a boy who was a year older then her. she would talk to him sometimes and got along with the boy really well. Back then Lie was known as Suchia Kalabash and was the nicest girl around but then something happened.
Suchia was walking home from a storm, she had to pick up some stuff for her family but then was knocked out and kiddnapped. When Suchia woke up she was straped in a chair and was so confused. she didn't know where she was and was scared out of her mind.
Then a person injected something in her arm she yelled in pain and everything went hazy. Suchia was passed out again since she had a fear of needles.
When Suchia woke up again she looked different and felt different. she couldn't remember a thing about her family or anything. Suchia has just became a Homunculi and went under the name Lie now.
Personality: Lie is a dirty lier, she does care for people but doesn't show it since she is evil but she wishes to be normal again so doesn't know what side to be on. Lie actually can be nice and tricks alchemist to think she is a human since she looks like one again.

Biography: Niente is one of the few Homunculi who was changed into a Homunculi, he is also one of the most recent to be changed. He was born and raised in a small fishing village that was secluded from the outside world. When he was ten an alchemist moved to town and chose 'Rei' to be his apprentice. He agreed and began to learn the basics of alchemy. He was a supposed genius with alchemy because he could do it so well and was even considering to join the military when he came of age. But everything changed on his sixteenth birthday.
On his sixteenth birthday, his master called him into his workshop to tell him some good news. Wondering what the news was he followed obediently. He found out that his so called 'master' was going to use Red Water and'Rei's' body in a gruesome experiment. At first he tried to escape but his mater turned out to be too strong and he was injected with the Red Water.
He survived, killed his 'master' and left the village. Right now he is looking for people like him.
Personality: One hundred percent apathetic. Somehow during his 'changing' process he locked (or lost) all his emotions. he speaks in a monotone voice and is usually very straight forward and blunt. he also has a tendency to give people werid nicknames.

Biography: Ann was born in Resembool but grew up further north. She loved learning about Alchemy and had been studying it since she was young, practicing it even to the point to where she figured out how to create the transmutation circles without drawing all the time. Her specialty in alchemy was the creation of plants, many created with her own imagination and she could use them in any way she pleased, therefore she always carried a few bags of seeds with engraved circles on them so she could use them at any time. She even keeps a flower in her hair for both decoration and for special use if somehow she couldn't access her bag of seeds.
Her parents loved to travel, though she never knew why until she was 11 when her mother was killed, hunted down by the military. The reasons why were known only by the previous Führer and my father. But as she grew older and perfected her alechemy further, her father told her why. The Führer had wanted her to join the state alchemists when she was old enough, and that they would train her. Biography: Lance and his younger sister were born and raised in a small farming village just outside Central. Bothe.r their parents were farmers and wanted their children to take over the farm when they passed away. Unfortunately Lance was interested in joining the military while his younger sister wanted to be an alchemist.
When he was sixteen he left home and headed for Central to join the military. Once in he quickly advanced through the ranks and is currently First Lt. He aspires to be Fuhrer one day.

Biography: Jaidyn had lived in Central city for as long as he could remember. Which is only from the time he woke up in an alchemical lab With parts of a panther instead of legs and his bottom half. His hands had been alright and his head as well but the rest of him was panther. Freaking out, he ran away, as far as he could from that lab, eventually he reverted back to human form, although there was a deformity left on the left side of his jaw. He lived in hiding from the Alchemists ever since.
Personality: "Hey, you there, why are you asking about me? Do you want to go? Huh? Good, that's what I thought. Anyway, um... I gotta go somewhere, bye." He's always like that. He's very skittish but whenever he finds someone staring at him, he gets very aggressive. He's sensitive about the deformity on the left side of his jaw and is always very jumpy. Other than that, he can be a nice guy, once you get past his aggressive/skittish nature.
