I sat, waiting to see what would cross into the clearing. I did not think that I would see who I did. Marian made her way through the clearing, her long skirt sliding silently over the grass. I tried to stop myself from drawing attention, because I did not want to scare her away. I looked over at my companion, and he looked back at me. "Taiki, I think she's lost. You might want to see if she needs some help." Taiki with a very boyish smile, headed out of the bush.

She stopped, and turned, startled by the approach of another. But big silver eyes, and a small smile stopped the girl from fleeing. Taiki was horribly cute when he felt like it. Hell, he was cute even when he didn't try. I smiled, watching as he worked his way towards her. He would win her over for her. And he was really hard to resist.
