 ❧ Ơηcє αρση α тιмє...There was a world. A world where all the elemants lived in harmony. Water, Fire, Earth, Air, Dark and Light. It was a time where no man was afraid of another, when everyone could feel safe walking down the street. This world was called Summerland.
Summerland was a world unlike any other. A perfect, pure world with no evil. It was ruled and watched over by the 6 royal families who were gifted with the 6 elemants. They swore only to use their powers over the elemants to protect this paradise and its inhabitants. For thousands of years, the people of Summerland could sleep soundly at night knowing that they were protected by the elemants. But not long ago, this peace was disturbed for the very first time...
One man had grown jealous of the royal families and their power. He said that it was unfair for only the Royal's and their families to have power while the rest of Summerland were mortal. This jealousy and hate consumed him, and he turned into a Shadow, filled with nothing but hate. He also found that with his new body, came new powers. He used these powers to put together an army of Shadow's, known to Summerland as the Shadow People.
The man, now known as the Shadow Lord, led his army's into the cities of Summerland. They killed many people, and those who were able to survive the attack of the Shadow People, became one of them.
With fear for the future, and for their families, the 6 royal families sent their children into the human world. All 6 children were only babies at the time, and their parents sent them to our world so that the Shadow Lord would not be able to find them. With the 6 Princes and Princesses safe, the Kings and Queen's of Summerland sacrificed their lives to seal away the Shadow Lord and his army's, into a neighboring realm to Summerland, which from that day forward was called Shadowland.
For 15 years the Shadow Lord was trapped in Shadowland, and it was for that 15 years that he planned his revenge on Summerland. It was also in that 15 years, that the Princes and Princesses of Summerland grew up. All of them are 16, and completely oblivious to their past life in the paradise of Summerland. But soon, they will be called back to their home world. Whether they choose to answer this calling or not will determine the fate of Summerland, and maybe even our world...

❧ Ƭнє яυℓєѕⅠ.The Basics •Following the Gaia TOS && rules are a given. I am the leader && control of this thread, && so if you wish to advise me of plot ideas or other accommodations, feel free to do so by either PM or just a simple post in the OOC thread. I absolutely do not tolerate god modding or auto-hitting in my RP! Its super annoying. And this also goes without saying, but CYBERING IS A HUGE NO-NO... So of course, Romance, Action and such are very much encouraged in this thread. Characters can be killed in this RP, but do ask before killing someones character. Swearing is ok once and a while, but please dont f-bomb your posts as every other word. No disrespecting your fellow RPer's and there will be no problems! Oh, and one final bit; If you cant and/or dont want to be a part of the RP anymore, please verify me of this so I can just delete your profile with no questions asked instead of having to go on a wild goose chase. Otherwise, please try to keep up with your posting and dont get too left behind. Ⅱ.Literacy •This thread is in fact a semi-literate to literate roleplay, which means I dont want any half-assed one liners all the time. I can understand writers block, but seriously its not that hard to come up with a paragraph. BUT, please dont go and write a bloody novel! Nobody wants to read a fricken long post especially if its a bunch of rubbish. And this is obviously a rule in a Literate RP; no txt tlk. As for your posts, please try to make them look pretty. I want to see at least half decent posting styles here, but nothing too bright or too small to read. No mega huge pictures either. Ⅲ.Applying •I would just love it if everyone were to send their profiles to me, because Ill get extremely pissed if you post it here! It messes up my system! If you do it, you'll get black listed! Anyhoo, please try to fill out all aspects of the profile skelly, including the colors, and please please please dont go changing the coding of my skelly! I just down right hate that. As for the PM title, "I am the (daughter/son) of (your elemant here)" if you are applying as a Prince, Princess or Guardian, and "Let Shadows Rise" if you are applying as a Shadow General, otherwise, I might just ignore your application. I will also reserve spots for people, but if you take too long sending me the Profile, then Ill be forced to give your spot up to someone else. And, one of my biggest pet peeves is when people send me profiles and dont post! Once you send me a profile, you will have once week to make a post or else your spot will be given to someone else...

After the 15 years have passed, life has gone on for all the Royal children. All have fairly normal lives, and are completely oblivious to their lives in Summerland.
Currently, all the kids attend the same high school, more or less a coincidence. But even though they all attend the same school, that doesnt really mean they all know each other very well... In fact, most of them hardly know each other at all. They might see each other in the hallways between classes, otherwise most of the Royal children are complete strangers with each other. Each of them also have different social standings in the school, which sets the apart even more.
The Dark Princess, one of the more un-popular girls at school, and made fun of by the more popular kids. Though she does have one person who she can rely on, and someone she consideres her best friend.
The Air Princess, not un-popular, but not mega popular, more middle class. She happens to be one of the star players on one of the schools sports teams.
The Water Princess, one of the more popular girls at school, and hangs out with that group. Although, despite being popular, that doesnt necassarily make her mean...
The Light Prince, not mega popular but not un-popular, and he often gets in trouble with teachers, despite being one of the best in class, because of his outspoken attitude.
The Fire Prince, more of the mysterious and quite guys at school, though he does have a rather broad friend group because of his understanding personality.
The Earth Prince, actually a newer student at the school, and doesnt really know many people at all... However, there is one person that happens to be a friend from a while back.
There is no forgetting the Guardians either. They work vigorously trying to protect and watch over the children... But unlike the Royals, a few of the guardians are fermiliar with each other, and sometimes meet up to discuss anything of importance, and more recently, the discussions have revolved more around the Shadow Lord, and the Royals long awaited return to Summerland.
With the Shadow Lords threat of rizing up again, the time when the Royals must return to Summerland is drawing closer and closer... And once the Shadow Lord does rise, the lives of both the Royals and the Guardians will never be the same...

Alaric was still at home laying in his bed. They had moved into this place a week ago and he would start his first day of school here. It was not something he was looking forwards too however, it was something he found to be rather boring. He was intelligent enough to get by without having to do much work but he still had to show up every day. Rolling onto his back he let out a soft sigh and stared at the clean white ceiling that was above him. Moving his arms under his head they sat on top of a soft pillow. Soon enough his mother walked in to make sure he was ready and mentioned a few things to him before leaving the room to get to work.
Now that he thought about it his parents where good people and took care of him as best they could. Alaric smiled slightly before slowly picking him self up and going about his daily routine. This included going to the washroom, eating and other such things and it was not too long before he was walking on the side walk heading towards the school. He wore rather simple clothing, a pair of black jeans that here a little ripped up. A charcoal grey shirt that had a few designs in it and his hair was spike up in a mohawk and was a purple at the base that changed to orange. A few thoughts wondered about his mind as he tugged on the straps of his backpack and saw the school coming into sight.
Alaric entered the grounds and he was a bit early which was rare for him but then again he needed to get a good look at the place. This would be his second time in the building and he was a little unsure of the lay out despite already having a tour of the place. Humming softly he walked in through the nearest entrance and began to wander around taking in the layout of the building.

 Vaul Moon
Vaul was lurking in the darkness that could be found in any house hold. He was going about his normal rounds and sometime even watched her sleep soundly in her bed. Some might find this creepy but it made sense within his mind. However he did give her privacy when she was changing or other wise naked but he was always close by encase she needed him for something. Although in truth she did not know about his existence but that might be changing as she grows and matures into a women. Her powers might not be developed or trained but they should go with her and she might be able to sense him. Although there was the matter of the shadow lord returning and then he would have he pleasure of meeting her face to face.
It might seem odd but he has grown to like company despite the fact they have never spoken to each other. Vaul moved quickly thought the area and eventually stopped in front of her bedroom door and listened for any sound. Spending a few thousand years in silence did heighten his sensitivity to it but it had been fading slowly as of recently to its normal level. A few stray thoughts wondered about his mind as he continued to lurk in what ever shadow he could find. Waiting for the day to drag on and for him to follow Alice where ever she went.

She blinked a few times and looked around before sitting up and rubbing her eyes. Makenna smiled a little and slipped her feet out of the covers and walked over to her closet. She grabbed her outfit before walking to the bathroom in her room. Makenna turned on the shower and stepped into it before washing her hair and her body. She then stepped back out of the shower and wrapped herself in her towl. Makenna grabbed another towl and started to dry her hair before blowdrying it. She finnished drying her hair and body before putting her clothes on. Makenna walked out of her bathroom and to her room where she put her shoes and her jewlery on. She grabbed her phone, i-pod, and the shoulder bag that she used for school before walking down to the kitchen. Makenna grabbed a water and an orange before walking out the door of her house and heading to the school.
She hummed quietly to herself as she walked to school. As Makenna walked up to the school and went to the bench that she normaly sat at. She sat down under the tree and pulled a book out of her bag. Makenna started to read and looked up briefly. She smiled a little more before looking back down at her book and continuing to read her book.
