Anyway Friday was the airing of the episode "Split in Two" where the Ady Gil is destroyed and then sank by the Japanese Whaling fleet - And Pete Bethune is destroyed mentally.
Even a week later I'm very upset about it.
How the governments are handling the situation and how Pete got almost put in jail over losing his ship and defending something, yes it was stupid of him to get on the Shonen #2 but seriously. He should have waited it out.
Now he's been suspended from anti whaling, and Sea Shepherd as well for carrying weapons.
Thats a hard break if you ask me.

i just remember the captains voice when he went on the radio to say he would help. it reminded me of a bully a school... like the gym teachers son... he can do all the crap he wants to the little whimpy kid (not calling them whimpt... its just an analogy) as long as he doesnt hurt him and not get caught. but as soon as he pushes him too hard and cracks his head against the pavement he starts fearing for his own well being.
and then he thinks
"Hey. the gym teacher is my dad. i dont have anything to worry about"
and then hell go on bullying the other whimpy kids...
really not acceptable. the japanese government needs to realize that just because the whalers are from japan, that doesnt mean they have the right to do whatever they want and not fear the consequenses. its just not right. i dont get whats so hard to understand about that.

He was right and keeping the japanese where they where.
'cause who knows what the hell they would have done to the crew had they boarded the Japanese - inflatables.

x Kumori-san x I was very proud of Peter Hammerstedt for how he handled that situation under that kind of stress He was right and keeping the japanese where they where. 'cause who knows what the hell they would have done to the crew had they boarded the Japanese - inflatables. dude, i seriously thought he was gonna jump off that ship and swim to the japanese one and pummel the captain. he was furious!

I loved how Capt. Chuck Swift was there - reassuring him and stuff.
