A dense forest who's name was given due to its history of warfare between numberous castles that once stood within it. Not much more is known about it other than some of the notorious creatures that are claimed to have been spotted there.

Aroura waited on the other side, standing in front of the exit portal stationed on a rock that stood from the ground. The archway was the same design, and their current location happened to be by a river. They were in the woods. She watched as everyone came through. "Its about time"

Beni arrived not too far behind Gilvan. It didn't occur to him, but the sword he carried had changed its shape. He was way too busy hauling the pack full of necessary supplies, most important of all, food. He started to hear a faint whispering in his ear. He looked around to find nobody was close enough for him to hear. He looked at his sword, and now he finally noticed its new look. He liked it a little more now, but was it talking to him?...

Eragon walked through the portal and sort of shook like a dog. He never liked going through portals. They made him feel funny and they messed with the eyes because you're looking at one thing and next thing you know you're seeing something completely different. As he looked around, he realized that they were in a dense forest which seemed oddly familiar. He also realized that he had never got around to changing his shirt after it was shredded. He tore off what was left and laid it down near the portal. He then walked toward the group while pondering what he had told Zeke. He wondered if Zeke would do what he asked, for it would only take about 2 hours to get to his tribe and back again.

Aroura pondered a bit as she thought about leaving poor Zeke behind. Could he really have time to do anything whilst reading all that material on how to fly? She also remembered he had an interest in magick as well. Learning something like that would require a teacher. She looked to Inferno. Being that he was a commander back in their time, he knew how to take a good leader role when needed. However, she was needed for guidance through this realm. After taking some thought, she looked herself over before looking back to the team. "I must go back. My people need me. I've been gone for quite some time and I must be there to comfort them." She turned to Inferno and removed the map from the robe that concealed her equipment. She handed it to him. "You shall lead while I am not here. You may not know what these lands hold, but riding in unfamilliar territory is your specialty." She then turned to Gilvan. "Gilvan, you know the dangers of these lands. Help navigate and lend your support."
Inferno and Gilvan nodded. "We'll let ya know If we need anythin." He turned to Inferno. "Well, lad, looks like I'll see a part of ye I've yet ta see, eh? Reckon we need ta eat first though. I'm mighty hungry righ about now."
Inferno smiled as he again nodded. Its been long since any of them had anything to eat. He was surprised at how far they had gotten without food in their stomachs. His legs felt like jello and his gut tore at him. "Yeah, we'll get to that in a moment."

Beni opened up one of the packs of food, and opened a water container. He wrapped the heating pack around the food, set it upright on a rock and poured the water in. As the fumes were emitted, he quickly realized how much attention he might have been drawing to himself. The bright side was that his food would be ready soon, and he would be in condition to fight shortly after eating. Beni was curious if anyone wondered how he knew so much about MREs when he suddenly got an idea. "Inferno, let me have a clip or two...I'm still holding onto your gun, I could really use something to defend myself with until I'm done eating."
Little did Beni know, he was too late to prevent unwanted and/or unintended attention from coming his way. Someone dropped down from one of the nearby trees and approached. He was quite muscular, but very lightweight, so it was apparent this person had plenty of speed and agility. A mask covered his face, so all that could be seen was his figure and intense eyes. As Beni turned toward this person, their looks were locked. The stranger removed his mask to reveal a slanted smile as he said "Smells good, straynger. Mind if I join ya? Name's Brophy."

Eragon slipped out his daggers and filled them with energy. Instantly the blades of the daggers took form as Eragon approached the the uninvited guest. Brophy didn't show any hostile movements, but Eragon wasn't going to trust a random person either. Eragon kept his distance as he also started pumping his demons energy into the left knife creating the water blade surrounded by electricity. Eragon stepped next to Beni and took a defensive stance and said "Name your intentions or be prepared for a fight".

Aroura raised her left hand in a motion for Eragon to back down a little. "We are in no condition to fight, and I'm sure you know that too." She lowered her hand and looked to the newcomer, Brophy, stepping forward with weapons holstered and shethed, showing no visible threat. "However, the rest of Eragon's question remains. Why are you here?"
Inferno kept one machine gun raised and positioned in his right hand, his other holding two clips of standard handgun ammunition. At Aroura's signal, he eased his grip on the trigger. He started to speak into the comms device to see if he could still get hold of Zeke. "Zeke, do you know anyone by the name of Brophy? ....Zeke?"
Gilvan showed no motion to engage the stranger. Instead, he recognized the interesting tounge in which he spoke, and after noting everyone elses reactions, he simply chuckled and opened his arms with a smile. "Ah, goodt ta see a lad like yaself roamin through this neck av the woods! Come lad, grab a seat and eat somethin. We were just bout ready to party without ya." He patted on a large rock that could seat about three people.

[[For next paragraph, refer to post here]] Zeke's thoughts had been interrupted by hearing the radio. Instantly he knew that was one more reason that he couldn't leave the church at the time. Shaking himself back into attention, he answered. On the other end, Zeke's voice could be heard. "Brophy? I don't personally know anyone by the name. Maybe ask Gilvan? I think the name has some Celtic origins. It certainly sounds like it." That was all Zeke could think to say.The stranger, who had introduced himself as Brophy, sat down at the rock he was invited to. Of course, this was not done without first removing a bottle from his person. He revealed it to be some fine Irish Whiskey. "You shayre, I shayre. Just lookin' far a snack."( "He's no good. You'll still be wanting that clip, and you'll be wanting to get it quietly. He's got to be dealt with, you know.") Beni sat there trying to enjoy his meal. He dismissed the advice, and ignored his previous request for ammo, as he felt it wasn't necessary, or even a good idea, any longer. "I'm don't say who gets it and who doesn't." He gave an inquisitive look as he got ready to eat. He wouldn't start eating until he was told whether or not this 'Brophy' was allowed a share of food. His hand was by the stack, for he had a feeling Gilvan was going to say 'yes' without a fraction of a second worth of hesitation.

Eragon hesitantly reduced his power back to almost normal. He kept a small level of his power radiating so he could quickly defend his friends if need be. He then sat on a log and laid one dagger on each side of him as to have access to a weapon quickly. He took out a ration and started preparing his meal. Eragon wasn't about to trust a complete stranger.
Gareon could see a castle in the near distance and smirked. It looked fitting for him to live in. But the scenery was not to his liking. All the trees were just firewood to use to burn and torture people by holding them over the fires. "So we're here to find someone..., well i guess this is gonna take a while."

As Zeke's voice came through the headset, it became clear that indeed this person was a total stranger, and apparently had no connection to Tony or the others... that he could see. His gun remained in his right hand, as the three clips in his left he placed near Beni. He didn't exactly trust this new person the way he now trusted Beni and the others. At the request of food, he noticed Beni had been hesitant as if to await for approval.
Aroura turned to Inferno. "Well, commander? I'm leaving this decision up to you. You are in command after all, aren't you?"
Gilvan stopped. He too awaited to see if Brophy could stay. He had not seen one of his own people in a while, and even if he meant harm to the group, Gilvan knew he would not get far. Attempting to harm the group meant Brophy was up against an army commander of the IDSO unit, a lad known to be as the crimson prince, a half demon with a hundred thousand volts running through his body, and more importantly, Gilvan himself.
Inferno lowered his gun, but would not lower his guard. Not yet at least. "You may stay... for now. Give him food and fresh water. We eat now, but we walk right afterwords.
Gilvan smiled. "Yes sir! Right then, looks like we shayre too." He grabbed his giant mug from his pack. "Neva leave home withou it, eh Brophy?" He gave a chuckle.
Aroura nodded at Inferno's decison. "Alright, commander, looks like you've chosen our latest ally. Keep me posted and let me know how things go." without a moment for a reply, she stepped back through the portal, and it closed behind her, revealing the glowing inscriptions on the stone behind it.

Brophy gave a great smile as he removed one of his own from his person. "Damn rite!" He smiled as he poured into Gilvan's mug first, then to his own. He set it down in case anyone else made good on the offer.
Beni gave a light smile as he tossed the bag over. It contained a meal, water, and a heating pack. He made sure to toss it just far enough to reach him, to show there was no harm meant. The voices were still talking to him, but he'd continue to ignore them. He picked up his sword and looked at it, and the voice seemed to grow stronger as he did, so he set it aside. ("That won't stop me. I know you can still hear me.") It was apparent that the voice knew however much quieter it was, it wouldn't matter. Beni could still hear it, and still was bothered, but not enough to affect him--not enough to show it. He started to eat.
"Taynk ya." He gave a glance at the pack to find the heating instructions. When he'd gotten the idea of it he lifted his mug in Gilvan's direction, as if to toast.

Eragon dimmed his energy down to normal, but kept the daggers out. While his meal was preparing, he stood up and gathered a few sticks and logs laying around. He set them in the middle of everyone and built up his power a let out a powerful bolt and lit a fire. He put a small bowl in the middle of the fire filled with a special ale that is made by combining recipes from a ale from his tribe and the ale that the demon in his head has knowledge of, a special ale that civilized demons enjoy. It is a strong tasting ale that tastes better when warm. As it was heating, it gave off a strong aroma that added to the fresh air around them. "So, what brings you hear of all places Mr. Brophy? It seems quite a coincidence you just happen to be here. And while I'm at it, you mind if I bum some of that whiskey off you?

Gilvan would clank his mug off of Brophy's as he offered the toast, and would chug it down with no hesitation, of course leaving a little in his mouth to savor the quality taste. "Thas some fine juices ya got there. Correc me if i'm wrong, but this be whisky from back home is it? Damn, I haven had a swig of at in a good while. Where you get it?"
Inferno watched as his crew openly started to mingle with the newcomer as if he'd been a lost friend of some kind. Strange and uncommon, he thought, but if Brophy did in fact know anything about Tony, let alone the Shadow king threat, he could be a valuable asset to the mission. It was then he looked back to the mask he had worn when he first appeared. It looked like some kind of ninja mask. He would ask later though. Now was the time to eat. He took out an MRE and started it up. Some things he liked cold, very few things he'd heat up. When in war, time is life. Waste too much of it, and you're dead. That was the motto he shared with his men.

"Shuo! Irish Whiskey, best ahv its kind!" He handed the whiskey over to Eragon. "What brings meh here? It's close to me home. We're 'bout 200 feet from it." He addressed Gilvan next. "Got plenty o' it. Nice li'le stash at my place. Whiskey, rum, Absinthe--even make some meself. Na' how bout introductions? I told ya me name is Brophy, now what about ta rest? How bout ta strange one lookin' at his sword funny first, ten jumpy demon, commander, an' save the best fer last? He gave a smile to Gilvan, who'd be named 'the large one' if it had not been for their almost instant friendship.
Beni was caught off guard by the comment, but answered "Beni." Saying very little was the best way to not draw further attention.
