Everyone loves the circus, right? The performers, the stunts, the animals, the food...even the freak shows are something to be seen! No matter how old a person is, they always find themselves captivated by the shows put on during these unique events. People flock to see them and the almost unnatural sights and feats that are they display.
At one circus, known merely by the name of 'Freak Show', the performers are truly something to behold; creatures born from nightmares, people with unique gifts and traits, beings from beyond your wildest imaginings. But in the end, they're nothing special; just people in costumes, stunts done with mere tricks of the light, and illusions, right? There's no way that any of that could be real...~*~ Once all the spectators have left, 'Freak Show' seems to change completely. Most of the 'performers' are locked in cages - the lucky ones get mobile homes that lock from the outside. Here, one can now see that the creatures are real and that there is little illusion when it comes to this circus.
Unless you count the illusion of freedom.
