In the Japanese drama Shokojo Seira (which is loosely based off the children's novel A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett), there are two characters [Seira Kuroda and Aran-sensei] who fluently speak the French language. But how well are the actress/actor's attempt at speaking the language? You decide. And between Shida Mirai (Seira) and Tanabe Seiichi (Aran-sensei), who pronounces French better?

(for some reason, I heard Tanabe Seiichi mostly keeps getting fed the role of a French-language teacher, lol)

I'd say Shida Mirai speaks it a lot better, which is pretty funny because she is supposed to be the student, haha! Her 'R's are a bit too forced, but it was very good overall. As for Tanabe Seiichi, I had a really hard time following what he said... gonk He seemed very at ease talking, but it was like there was no effort put into emulating proper French pronunciation.
