It's fun to learn a new language, but it is even better to learn about other cultures as you do it. In this sub-forum people will be able to describe their cultures and others will be able to ask questions about them and hopefully get answers.
Want to learn about the different holidays around the globe? Well, hopefully our Hispanic brethren will tell us about it!
This will also serve as the Spanish Popular Culture forum. So you can also talk about your favorite Spanish singers, movies, novelas, books, etc. Enjoy!

Rules
1) Please respect the ideals of others as well as their cultures. We are all different and have different festivities. This forum is to learn about these cultures, so be very respectful.
2) Please try to refrain from creating repeated topics. If you want to know what the story behind El Día de los Muertos is, try to find a topic about it first. If one is not there, then feel free to create one.
3) You can speak in either English or Spanish in this forum since it is about learning of cultures. Even lower level language students want to know about those types of things, right? So try to explain in English as well as Spanish.
4) Keep things clean, don't spam, be respectful to everyone, and have fun learning!
