I don't know if this quite belongs in this sub but err, adding a few letters to force allowance cant hurt right :3 ... right?
Was just wondering what , if any, MMOs people play in the guild. Ive seen some mention of such things up on the main in Chatterbox etc but I figured that I'd make a thread in here more specifically for it biggrin
So have at it then :3 , What games do (or have) you guy's play(ed) biggrin
~~~~
I myself have played way too many *is pathetic*
Star Wars Galaxies ( Pre-CU: Quit with NGE ) Tabula Rasa (It Died T.T ) Perfect World Chronicles of Spellborn Ether Saga WoW (Quit long ago) Lineage II Eve Online (Probably one of my favs here)
Though I don't really play any actively atm though might consider hopping on a f2p if anyone else is interested playing. biggrin
Dunno how much Unreal would classify as an Massively Multiplayer game but why not biggrin
I remember that used to be on TV all the time back when G4 was good and not loaded with Sex and Cops v2.0 *cough*
Dunno if I have heard of the other one though o.o
Well theres Unreal then theres Unreal Tornament, and most maps can have upto 30 people for each team. Thats why I wasent sure. And its just a zombie survival game, done with a birds eye camera.
And another one I have is MAG, though it is on the PS3, it is an online game only.
I don't play MMORPG's. The main reason is because I refuse to keep paying for a game. $5/month, $10/month - it all adds up. Blizzard is making a fortune with WoW - seriously it's the cash cow that keeps them going. The other reason I don't play'em is because I know I'll probably get majorly addicted smile
I started with few years in Maple Story and then few more in Dofus. Then short perionds in Ragnarok, Dragonica and Shayia. and some other's. Very big sentiments to MS, though I enjoyed Shayia the most.
I'm currently sort of playing World of Warcraft. I say "sort of" because, while my subscription is still active, I haven't logged on in awhile due to my rising frustration with the game. I'm a fresh 80 that hasn't done a lot of dungeons, so I'm getting a lot of grief over it; also, my guild isn't helping matters.
An MMO I really enjoyed was Lord of the Rings Online. The only downside, and the reason I stopped playing, is that the community is pretty quiet. Finding groups to do lower level content is a bit of a struggle on some days, though it's a lot of fun when you finally do get that group together. It's also a gorgeous game, especially in areas like the Shire and Rivendell.
I'll likely go back to Lord of the Rings someday. I've heard that the game is going (partially) free-to-play later this year, which is an extra bonus.
