Naku walked to the Combat hall, his training saber hanging on his waist opposite to his actual lightsaber. He stood in one of the arena's, hoping a challenger would come to test him. Hoping one of the new padawans would step forth with a challenge. It didn't really matter who it was, all it mattered was that he/she would be willing to face him, and perhaps learn from him in their duel. As a master once told him, "Dueling someone more skilled is one way to learn how to control and use your weapon."

Coopernius sauntered into the training hall, hoping to get a few hours practice in. He quickly noticed his master, Naku, and respectfully bowed, "Greetings, my master. If I may ask, what brings you to the Hall today?"

Naku, who at this point was meditating, notice Coopernius's presence entering, had stood up and waited for him to arrive. He returned the bow and answered his question. "I was meditating, though now that your here, perhaps you can show me what you have learned so far?"

"Of course, my master," Coopernius said, readying his training saber. He fell into a typical combat stance, one that left no openings and allowed many ways with which to attack, waiting for his master to make the first move.

Naku studied Coopernius. "Ah, I see you have studied Shi-Cho. Good." Naku took a similar stance, his training saber activating as the hilt was centered on his body, his left foot was out in front while his right was a bit back, his toes pointed to the right. He advanced slowly towards Coopernius, goading him to attack first while getting closer.

Not to be persuaded, Coopernius calmed himself, reaching inward and focusing on the force. Once he was focused, he looked master Kurosaki straight in the eye. "Now," he said, and made an easy feint.

Naku noticed his focus in the force, a powerful ally, though against one as skilled as him, it was untrained but still, it was good. he noticed the faint, but blocked for it, however the block was enough for him to block the faint if it were to become the attack, but also give him the flexibility to block whatever strike he had in mind, though even a master could be fooled.

Coopernius grinned wryly. His master had fallen for it! Coopernius "fell off-balance." Twisting at the last second, though, he released the pent up power of the force, channeling it into one huge Push.

Naku had expected an attack with the saber, which is what he had waited for, however, he was caught off-guard by the push, which was strong enough to send him back a bit. His hood of his robe came off and he face was revealed, showing the smirk that he had. He regain his stance, his body moved to the side, his legs evenly apart, his saber hand a bit behind his head, the saber close to his face and his left hand extended out, motioning him to come at him.

"Ch-!" Coopernius was, as to be expected, slighty angered by his master's smirk, and launched an attack, sweeping his saber up towards Naku's waist with a low attack.

Backing off, Naku glanced at the newcomer. "Master," he said. "May i kill him?"

Naku stopped as well as he saw Rex enter and leave. Then returned to his stance. "No, Coopernius, you focus on me." With that said, Naku summoned the force to him and at once sent it towards Coopernius as his own version of Force Push, except 2x stronger then Coopernius had used on him, showing him both his skill with the force and teaching him to pay attention to his opponent at hand. Not distractions to which Rex had provided.

Blown back by the unexpected blast, Coopernius struggled to his feet, calming himself and focusing his attention purely on where it needed to be: his opponent. He fell deep withing himself and found his center, then charged his master once again, faking a low cut and bringing in a mid-level thrust.

Naku paid close attention to Coopernius, seeing he would strike low, he blocked for it. But when Coopernius' motion changed at the last second, he took a guess at his move from his motion and knowing very well that he would not be able to block the thrusting motion, waited for the very last second to spin away from his saber and with his own, direct Coopernius' strike away from him, countering it with a swing on his owned directed for his arms.
