the wind blew and Jetblack caught another wolfs scent is that Deathshadow? she thought the scent was going towars the deer and he felt a p***k of annoyance i bet he was watching me he thought and followed the scent until he spotted movement doesnt he reaize the male is with the female? he observed, as Deathshadow only seemed to have eyes for the hornless beast. lets see what sort of tricks he has Jetblack thought delightedly about what would happen once Deathshadow found there were two deer, he had never really liked Deathshadow, but stayed away to watch what would happen.

Deathshadow slowed his pace as the scents grew stronger. He hid in the shadows so that his dark pelt could stay hidden. His gaze locked on the female deer as he saw it grazing. Creeping forward threw the shadows he kep thimself low to the ground. When he was ready he shot forward. He could hear the beating footsteps of someone charging towards him so he waited then spun around. Being a rouge for part of his life taught him many things while hunting with out his brothers. Ignoring the male at the moment he blocked the doe off and bit into it's shoulder. He knew it wouldn't kill it but he wasn't going for the kill just yet. The sound of charing started again and he let go of the doe and moved to the side but he wasn't quick enough. The buck hooked into his side. Blood dripped from his wound and he glanced over at the buck then towards the doe who was trying to hoble away. With a growl he flung himself at the doe's side tackling it over and his teeth sinking into it's neck. His bloody red gaze locked onto the buck.

Jetblack watched curiously as Deathshadow made his kill and was even more curious to find out what would happen with the scond.

Deathshadow slowly backed off with the doe limping a bit. If it weren't for his stupid wound he would have killed that buck, but the blow it had struck was stinging and he knew better then to push it. But the buck didn't. It came charging yet again and Deathshadow wanted to drop the doe but he couldn't. He made the kill and it was his. So instead he bunched up his musscels and lifted the doe up as hard as he could. The impact of the buck into the doe caused him to fall backwards, but so did the horned animal. It's antlers nearly pereced threw his stomach and it cut part of his other side. Lashign out with his back legs he hit the buck on the back a few times before he rolled off taking his now bloody doe.

((what i got out of that is that th buck backed off...))
Jetblack smiled and saw his chance. he ran at the buck hard and tackled it to its side. he then bit hard into its neck until it stopped moving. he looked up at the bloodied warrior as if he wanted to say something, then shook his head and bent down to pick up his kill.

Deathshadow narrowed his eyes at Jetblack. Was he watching the whole time? If he was it didn't even accur to him that he could help? Shaking it off he started to drag the doe back.

Shadeclaw moaned as he slowl got up out of his twig bedding and streched. he hated mornings. He walked outside and sat in a shade spot and groomed himself free of the twigs in his fur left behind by the bedding.

Demonshadow heard what Jetblack had said on the way out, and smiling in his mind. Maybe I will thank you very much. He thought, and traveled to the edge of the territory not caring if he got caught when he went to the Dream Stone territory, his half-brother would get him out of it surely.
