Also, When you say to post as your hero, do we start using our hero's icon instead of our character picture?

Well, yes. When you enter the world, you're not your original character anymore, but you're 'hero'. Soo....yeah, a pic of your hero should be provided :3
Anyone who joins after the signal, can immediately go to the world. So they can skip the intro if they wanted.
And also Shin, if you have a question about what you have to do in the pokemon world first, is to go meet Prof. Elm (who i will, unfortunely, be playing XP) so he could give you your chosen pokemon.
And, go ahead an land where you're at. I'm gonna probably make my character land in the route between New Bark and Cherrygrove~
