Okay. I have a book idea, possible the start of series. The series will be called The Sandwalker Saga.
The entire series will revolve around the conflict between the Sab'aaki, an slightly primitive alien race on the arid planet of Kasi'kumai, and the human invaders who wish to mine the rich titanium deposits of the planet, which they call Anubis. The Sab'aaki/"Anubisians" don't have practical use for the titanium, but the act of drilling into the planet to be wrong, as the planet itself is worshiped as their most sacred deity.
Thoughts?

Fine...-crumples up Sandwalker- Guess it's back to square one.
The entire story, in my head, is not like Avatar at all. No mind transfer into bodies. No connection with the native fauna with a some weird nerve ending in the back of a "ponytail".
It's the story of desert nomads from another world who's way of life is attacked by an Empire of outsiders. The titanium is the humans' way of justifying cruel treatment on the Sab'aaki.
