The stars are as sand poured across the night sky. Aledrial looks back down to his book, squinting in the starlight as he attempts to make out the poorly lit letters on the page for his cram-school homework. Turns out that missing three years of school takes its toll on a young man, especially when said young man decides to show up on the day before summer break.
"..." Felix moans as he thinks about the mountains of backwork he has to wade through over the summer and grimaces. "Shuck me," wines the young man while falling backward into the soft grass with his eyes closed.
Something moves as his eyes flick open, and he sees...

Scarlett walks along the rivers edge and looks up to see a falling star. starlight starbright she thinks and continues walking. she looks back down and sees a girl in the river. Scarlett walks over to the girl. "hey" she says

Iraina walked until she came upon the river. She looked at the stars. "How beautiful..." she said, awed by the sight. She found a boulder by the corner, not too far from the river, and sat on it, taking in the scene before her.
