History: Katie has known she was a witch her entire life and has treasured that fact. It has made her different and its something that shes not ashamed of. Though Katie doesnt judge others for not being magical she doesnt fit in well with the muggle world. Her parents tried to send her to muggle school but her first day of kindergarten Katie got frustrated with one of the boys chasing her. Her powers got a hold of her and the boy wound up falling in a ditch. Both kids were punished for playing in dangerous circumstances and the kids knew that Katie was different. It didn’t take long for the entire kindergarten to team up on her and Katie was having fights left and right. Because of her powers Katie would always win even when she was outnumbered. By the end of the year Katies parents knew they needed to take her out of Muggle schooling if they wanted to keep the wizarding world a secret and their daughter safe. They then put a charm on the house so that Katies old enemies couldnt find her and the rest of the muggles couldnt check up on the whole home school story the Allens had to spin.
When Katie turned 11 she was excited to finally be able to go to Hogwarts and she was delighted to be sorted into Hufflepuff. Her first year it was obvious that Katie had a magnificent skill in potion making and she loved it as well. It didnt take long to decide that she wanted to be an apothecary when she left school. She throws her heart and soul into Potions and as a result sometimes forgets about her other classes. She also spends every minute she can in the potions room attempting new things and has even done them in secret.

Personality: Katie has learned to defend herself especially after that single year in muggle school. Katie has gotten into a few fights but she never starts them. Katie also has a terrific respect for authority and if a Professor gives her an order she will follow it to a T without complaint no matter how much she dislikes it or how unfair she thinks it is. Katie can be really sweet but shes not afraid to speak her mind. If you need a hand shes always there to help you out but she doesnt confide anything to anyone.

Other: Katie is also really good with animals and confides all of her stresses and feelings in them because she knows they cant hurt her and she can’t hurt them.
