History – Born to Kanaye Masahiro, who was the head of their noble family. During a mission in the world of the living, she was attacked by a rogue vizard, and was overpowered, the vizard took her and did "things" to her. due to those "things" she was forced to carry Kaida and his twin sister Mavra. because they were children of rape and had a vizard for a father, her family wanted the pregnancy to be aborted, but she refused. Kaida and his sister entered the academy together at the age of 11, both of them learned their zanpakutos name withen the first few months, they were both surprised and concerned that they both shared the same zanpakuto spirit which is a serious offence and punishable by death to one of the wielders, but fortunately they were allowed to live for being members of one of soul society's noble familiy's. Kaida and his sister both share the title as head of their family, despite Mavra being born before Kaida. when the position for captain of squad 10 became avalible, they fought for the spot, the fight ended in a draw. so in the end they decided to share the rank.
Was married to a woman named Akane for 10 years, and had two children. a boy named Kiryl (age 13), and a girl named Mariko (age 7). Akane died four years after Mariko was born.
