In the Chitso Samake world the currency is coins, silver and copper as they’re simly called (Where every 100 copper is a silver). There are three ways of getting coins, there is being a part of a clan, being a bounty hunter or just simply getting an honest job.
Clans
The first option is clans. Every registered clan is funded by the government so that in return clan leaders watch over the so that they don’t harm civilians, keep within the law and that the government themselves don’t have to pay funeral expenses and among other things that are mainly to do with filling out forms. Clans are also the governments military power, even though its military that fights amongst itself, the elementals are under an agreement if they want to use their powers to train to fight and be used to fight, that fighting must also be used for the government, mainly for the sake of the country and to know they can be trusted by the people, other preferably known the non-elementals.
Either way as stated either the government pays the leaders of the clan on the condition they have three or more clan members who have filling out form that allows them use their elemental powers on other elementals or those who threaten them, they won’t ask the government for insurance and some ‘contact’ details. The clan leader also has to fill out dozens more forms in order to register the clan and get paid and assure they abide the laws.
But anyways the government pays them a certain amount depending on how strong its members are, how many there are and their activities. Normally you’re clan members labelled how strong they are, depending on their chi and then given the amount of respective money for their achievement as listed.
If:
2,000chi stats or less is a novice elemental and get paid 1 silver a week
2,0001-500,000chi stats or more is a common elemental and get paid 10 silver a week
500,001-1,000,000chi stats or more is a grand elemental and get paid 50 silver a week
1,000,000-10,000,000chi stats or more is a legendary elemental and get paid 100 silver a week
10,000,001-infinite chi stats is a Omega elemental and get paid 1,000 silver a week
These chi levels are hard to reach but it is the curriculum worked out by the government that they devised themselves. But there are sometimes job offers from people like organisations, non-elementals or cooperative clans that are willing to pay them for their services such as using their powers to help with some ‘choirs’, protecting people or settlements or attacking another rival clan. Payment for these is just for anyone who offers.
Either way once the government has totalled these, they will give the ‘clan leader’ the weekly pay and the clan leader will be responsible for distributing the money received, though by law requirements it must be more than 15% of the take that each elemental is giving them.
Bounty hunters/mercenary
Most elementals who want to go it alone because they don’t see much difference being in a clan (Seeing as one of the only real difference for illegally using your elemental powers is that you get no funeral expenses) and don’t fancy making an honest living sometimes because they dislike non-elementals, they go down a low road of catching other elementals for money... occasionally killing them.
Those elementals who become a bounty hunter/mercenary get jobs by organisations, research facilities and even the government, the reason why is because none of them have the legal power or loop holes in the elemental rights given to go after elementals for certain purposes. The only loop hole there is, is that because elementals are allowed to use their powers to subdue and chase after other elementals, seeing as its the clan leaders responsibility protecting them, elementals are allowed to also permitted to drag their body or their corpse where their hirer can either research or experiment or even use for ransom, so long as any harm done by another person is done by another elemental.
Mercenary/Bounty hunter elementals are also able to be hired to take vengeance, do a hit or just simply kill another elemental because of the contracts they sign for being an adventurer.
There are occasions where a cooperative Mercenary/Bounty hunter can be hired to help give some extra muscle to an elemental clan to help with wars, missions or to work as an independent member of the clan.
Just as rare though a bounty hunter/mercenary is enlisted to go after elementals that disobey outside the law, normally such elementals are taken care of the government’s military if not dealt by their own clan leaders. However it could be that they need the bounty hunter/mercenary as a private eye or an inside man or this could be one really big elemental that got out of hand! And the government needs all the support it can buy!
Either way the rules for elemental that chooses to become a bounty hunter/mercenary is that they can be paid by other people to do jobs. Even though people can already pay others to do jobs, to represent that they’re bounty hunters/mercenaries who grab elementals and takes them off to places in exchange for ransoms or bounties or just pay, the elemental that has been captured is estimated by adding their stats together (This does not include raw chi for non-elemetals) than getting a bronze coin for ten percent of that. (So an elemental with 400 strength, 300 adrenaline and 500 chi equals 1,200 together than half would be 600 meaning you’d get 6silvers). To capture another elemental, simply defeat him in battle (If you can) and choose to capture him. Note though the defeated elemental just treats it as a simple defeat, due to he’ll have escaped where ever he was left or his ransom got paid by families and friends or was simply done with. But if the elemental you captured is killed you only get paid (So following the example above, if the captured elemental is dead, you only get 3silvers, his corpse can still be researched on, he’s good enough dead or his ransom his paid so they can get him a proper funeral).
To also note bounty hunters/mercenaries aren’t well know for due to the fact they’re willing to go after elementals simply for a money and profit and feel they make them look back or that they’re clan leaders are angry they won’t join their clan so they can get more money! There are also some elementals who hate them because they work for money from the government and other non-elemental groups (Though Bounty hunters consider them the same with the clan system and honest jobs)
Honest jobs
Elementals that don’t want to join clans with other elementals and don’t want to get caught up as a bounty hunter/mercenary usually get their money from simple civilian jobs that could be used to better use there. Not that they’re safe because most Honest working elementals still fill out the contracts because they still want to be adventurers but need money to do so. Really they just don’t want to get up in clan wars or their diplomacy and politics at the very least and don’t want a bounty hunter/mercenary image.
To work such jobs and be a big difference workers normally check how strong they are by their chi, therefore there are chi requirements. So here below are list of jobs and their descriptions as how much they offer and their chi requirement
Job: Circus performer, Requirement: None, Pay: A bronze coin for every chi stat
Non-elemental populace are easily amused and attracted to elementals using their techniques to entertain. This can cause circus ring master aggressively competing over and even pressuring (Even getting mercenaries who aren’t interested or interesting enough, to get other elementals) to take part in their acts and travels to perform dazzling acts for the audiences they attract.
Job: Simple job, Requirement: None, Pay: 1silver each week
Elementals who really do just want a job as civilian as well as adventurer, do things like being a farmer, postman or even a simple boot polisher or lemonade salesman.
Job: So-called Appropriate job, Requirement: 5,000chi, Pay: 5 silvers each week
Elementals who want to make their abilities use or increase their self-esteem look for jobs. Like plant elementals gardening, water elementals filling pools or wind elementals fanning people. These simple things who just need elementals who can do these are sought after by rich fancy people who can afford these convincing wages or strongly feel it’s what elementals should be using their gifts for.
Job: Extreme jobs, Requirement: 20,000chi Pay: 10 silvers each week
Those who don’t want to use their powers for their rich so they can be used for simple things, go looking for where there powers are really needed. This can be machine elemental inventing things to help people, a wind elemental to help working in harsh weathers or rock elementals to work in hazardous mines. Such things are sought after by business ambitious bosses, where some don’t concern for the elemental’s safety.
Job: Sheriff, Requirement: 50,000chi Pay 20 silver each week
Towns that would feel more comfortable being protected by an elemental than by the law or don’t feel the governments doing enough to protect them normally hire elementals to stick around their town and watch over them. Such things are considered illegal and as another army due to acts and rights, but towns really do feel better, elementals find it hard to resist the money they offer and the government never get down to pressing down on these matters, so it works out in the end.
Job: Government soldier, Requirement: 500,000chi Pay 40 silver each week
Even though clans do serve as small armies for the government, they get elementals that either are loyal to them, patriotic or want to have better insurance covers. They still follow the contract making them eligible for bounty hunters to go after or clan members to pick a fight with. Though the government incorporates its own personal army seeing as they like to have elementals that are more loyal and devoted to their country, they still prefer to have other elementals administrate and be responsible for one another than them do.
Job: Chi blender, Requirement 1,000,000chi pay 200 silver each week
There are factories that dedicate themselves to crafting items that form things like elemental orbs, elemental restrainers and other items that are to do with elemental people. This requires elementals who volunteer to these independent business factories so they can help with the experimental research, contribute their chi into filling orbs or even sometimes help test and craft the items. Sometimes when a factory is short of elementals can involve hiring bounty hunters/mercenaries to get some (What’s better one volunteer or a volunteer who can fetch numerous unwilling volunteers)
Job: Secret op, Requirement: 5,000,000chi Pay 500 silver each week
It’s no doubt an elemental makes a better fighting soldier than a non-elemental, but an elemental with limitless power and shows to be still dedicated to their country has far too much potential than a lackey- I mean troop. These may become officers, secret weapons or agents that are extremely powerful and considerably feared.
You can gain additional money the same way as you do training, this good be like working hard for the week, overtime or something. Either way instead of experience you get bronze coins instead.
Items
In the Chitso Samake world there are businesses that manufacture handy things that can help elementals in their missions and fights. They’re quite numerous infact that it can cause business companies forming into more like elemental clans for unhealthy business feuds. Either way here are a list of items you can find and how much they cost to afford them.
Elemental orbs, cost 10 silver
Description: The most sought after and handy item, these are glass orbs that contain buckets full of chi that elementals holding the orb can draw from to make elemental techniques cost a lot cheap. It is for this reason why they’re so valuable, having just a few of these can help an elemental reserve so much chi in one battle.
Rules: Each elemental orb can ever be used once! When you do use them when using a chi attack, these make elemental attacks cost 3,000chi less.
Chi restrainer, costs 50 silver
Description: Another hand item, a chi restrainer that come in the form of nets, cuffs or simply a lasso can be placed onto another elemental and the material that it’s made out of suck the elemental almost useless, so long as he is in contact with this item.
Rules: Once the user announces he is going to use this item, the target may dodge it, it the target doesn’t than he is entangled by this item and is unable to use chi attacks because he is being restrained by the thing. In addition because he’s being entangled or trying to get the item off he is only able to use one attack per turn. This item lasts for 2 turns, during which the target has the option to destroy it once free.
Novice weapons, costs 100silver

Rules: A user using a novice weapon has his physical attack damage changed to 1/45 of his strength stats.
Ordinary weapons, costs 500silver
Description: Finding decent weapons like swords, axes and big mallets can be just as hard to find, but atleast they’re just as better.
Rules: A user using an ordinary weapon has his physical attack damage changed to 1/40 of his strength stats.
Master-crafted weapon, costs 1,000silver
Description: Incredible weapons to find, these can be swords that have taken years to craft, axes made out of the finest material or mace with chi blended into it. Those who field these can end up being incredible.
Rules: A user using a master-crafted weapon has his physical attack damage changed to 30 of his strength stats.
Training facility, costs 100,000silver
Description: Elemental clans or ambitious and rich elementals normally buy out training facilities from organisations to help make their training more effective and intense. Such things can come in the form of danger rooms, training courses or simply an area with lots of equipment. Either way a clan or solo individual are able to have access to uses.
Rules: Any owner or a person ‘permitted’ to use a training facility can use it for training, but gain an additional 50 additional experience for each day they train in this facility.
Basic Training gear, costs 1,000silver
Description: Elementals normally go for weight training gear like weight shirts, heavy capes and gloves or simply carry a rock on their back so that the spars they take part in become more intense and help them grow physicall stronger.
Rule: If the user equips himself with this than his adrenaline stats are reduced by 10% for the purposes of determining dodges/blocks, they don’t reduce how many combos he can use. In addition the user gets 5% additional exp at the end of fights for using these.
Better training gear, costs 10,000silver
Description: When elementals want more interesting training gear or want to help even the odds against an opponent they go for weights that feel like you’re carrying metal chain balls, making you become a lot slower, but gain a lot more intensity from fights.
Rules: If the user equips himself with this than his adrenaline stats are reduced by 20% for the purposes of determining dodges/blocks and each adrenaline attack he uses is an additional 10% more expensive. In addition the user gets 15% additional exp at the end of fights for using these.
Extreme training gear, costs 50,000silver
Description: For elementals who really want to push it to the limits in battle to enjoy the thrill of it or to help them get more experience out of it can get out of battles. This can be considered very insane to how much it reduces their fighting efficiency and what it can do to their bodies.
Rules: If the user equips himself with this than his adrenaline stats are reduced by 35% for the purposes of determining dodges/blocks and each adrenaline attack he uses is an additional 15% more expensive and cannot use any weapons and to add to that all their basic physical attacks are reduced 1/65 damage from their strength. In addition the user gets 30% additional exp at the end of fights for using these.
