Trainers
Trainers are here to help you get a start in the world. There are three clans that are willing to help you or able to be convinced. These three are the Quick fire clan, Ossuka Empire clan and the Estaku clan who each have a ladder of trainers to go through, you must pick one not all three, each one have different characteristics and offers to give.
Each trainer gives an amount of exp that must be used on stats and sometimes technique masteries they will give at the end of their training and they also have day period, during which you can still fight and other things, just can’t do basic training at all. You must notify a rater that you are training with a trainer as you do
You can also write a thread of how you train with the train and will gain additional exp as explained about training and will still be allowed to do fights and among other things. In addition if your posts are like how it is explained the trainer trains you, you get an additional 50exp for each post.
Anyways now to explain the clans and the clan members who train you.
Ossuka Empire clan
The Ossuka Empire clan isn’t exactly an empire and is named after its clan leader. Something like this is a very unusual name, then an again the clan leader is very unusual. Anyways it is growing clan known for its strong and determined elemental fighters, (let alone some very bizarre ones) they are both good at techniques and teaching you how to stand up for yourself.
Jeikobu
3 days to complete the training and for each day you get 50exp, equalling 150exp total
The first trainer you will encounter is a small person with bulky armour and spare gun parts attached to it, who belongs to the Figen race, short stubby people, but he is also a machine elemental, elementals whose chi is adaptable at rotating and activating and assisting with cognitive thinking. Jeikobu’s uses this bizarre element power to form guns and cannons for him to use in battle.
He is a busy figen though who claims he has better things to do than train you, but may after some ‘negotiations’ he will. Though on the first day he’ll have formed his weapon on what seems like a paint ball gun and will be using you as target practice, your job will be not to get, ducking and weaving through trees hit for thirty minutes, he will not allow you to use elemental techniques to deflect his paintball bullets or fight back(He’ll kick you square in the groin if you do!), but you can use your techniques to help dodge him (Not allowed out of range either or he’ll kick you!) and dirty tricks which won’t help really. If you get hit at all, you have to start again and keep dodging until thirty minutes
On the second day you will be brought to a plain where there are no trees to run behind or no rocks to hide under. Other than that same rules.
On the third day it will almost be the same but Jeikobu will be firing larger paintball ammunition at a faster rate that burns soon as it hits, worse is if you don’t wipe it off it’ll stick to your flesh, hazardous stuff, but it’s what you get for dragging Jeikobu out of his busy schedule. After you’ve accomplished this your training will be complete and will be somewhat stronger (Jeikobu agreed to train you to get stronger, wasn’t going to train you that strong as you hoped)
Hoboku
4 days to complete the training and for each day you get 100exp equalling 400exp in total
The second trainer of the Ossuka empire clan will be a devilish looking warrior with blonde hair and a robust body. However you soon realise he isn’t how he looks, he’s actually an airheaded, naive and not very bright fellow. He also has a great hunger for food, the reason why is because possess an overly large amount of chi that he was born with, because food needs energy in order to replenish itself at times and he needs a whole lot in order to appease his appetite.
He’ll happily accept to train you on the condition you join have lunch with him. It’s on him, but will refuse to train you if you can’t eat everything he serves or buys you(You might go out somewhere or he’ll cook). Trust me though he will serve a meal for 8 and that will be hard to follow his condition.
After the first day when you’ve managed to digest, the second will be onto the real training. You’ll find out that Hoboku is a wind elemental who wields a gigantic sword that would take three men to hold. He will slash his sword at you to shoot out hollows of air that will blow back at you, your job will be to stand your ground against the air currents until it’s over and that will be agonizing.
On the third day Hoboku will do the same thing but you will have to push against the air currents until he is satisfied that you have done well.
On the fourth it will be the same again, but not only will you have to push your way through his air currents, but get pass his wild fling sword attacks that may cut you in half and simply prod Hoboku with your finger. After that your training will be complete.
Burendan
3 days to complete the training and each day you get 250exp equalling 750exp
A scarred fellow below average height with a cheeky grin, he is the most violent, biggest ego and self-absorbed elemental of the Ossuka empire clan. You will find him quite a pain, but you know that in order to progress in your training you will need to go up with Burendan next. To note though he is a non-elemental, a physically strong person as well.
On the first day of training when you come across him and tell you are in need of training, he will tell back you he needs your respect. This will involve running from tavern to tavern drinking as much as he can or starting numerous bar brawls were you will have to fight alsorts of drunkards, don’t worry though Burendan’ll have your back- just as long he isn’t one of those drunkards then you’re in trouble.
On the second day when you and Burendan have done being sober and he realises your still here having one wild night, you’ll have gained his respect. After that, after having a few drinks to celebrate Burendan will teach you how to fight his style and seeing his way of philosophy on the fun of fighting instead of for survival or money, whether you listen or not it will help in your progress of training.
The third day Burendan will celebrate your final day of training before completing it. Though you will now have to have an all out fight with him. It won’t be easy though, Burendan is known for taking alsorts of blows and be still standing, what’s worse the blows you give him he’ll dish back out twice as worse. Once the fight is over though, Burendan will congrat you on your training complete.
Ruisus
2 days to complete the training and each day you get 350exp equalling 700exp in total, you will also gain the option to create a new small or medium technique mastery
The next elemental trainer you will come across is Burendan’s twin brother. He has less a big an ego and self-absorb, but he likes the sound of violence just the same. Although he’s not as scarred eager, his method of training will be just as painful.
The first day you meet him and he finds out you trained with his brother, he won’t bother getting you to gain his respect but he won’t exactly be respecting you. Half the training will consist of a training course Ruisus will have devised, simply get to the other side of the forest avoiding booby traps, hazardous terrain and ravenous wild animals he forgot to mention.
One the second day when Ruisus is agitated to see you got through that last training course, he would’ve stayed up all night increasing the difficulty of the training course. You will find that because Ruisus is a great analyser of other elementals strength and weakness and don’t try pulling out any aces, he will observe you’ve been hiding those as well and the training course will be prepared for everthing you have that you will be pushed to your limit, causing you to invent new tricks if you are meant to make it out of this. In the end though, once you stagger out of his training course, not only will have gained his respect but you will have completed your training.
Ossuka
3 days to complete the training and each day you get 500exp equalling 1,500exp and you will also have the option to create a large technique mastery.
One of your later trainers will be the Clan Leader, insistant on a well trained clan. Ossuka is never seen without a suit and cape in midnight blue, but from beneath this, bandages snake. He is wrapped completely, just like an Egyptian mummy.
He speaks only in Standard English, clipped and precise. He may seem unusual, but he has more connections than anyone knows, in other clans and governments. Many owe him favours.
On the first day, it becomes apparent that he knows all about your prior training, although how remains a mystery as he refuses to be drawn on the subject. Putting you instantly at ease, he politely asks you to do one hundred sit-ups.
Following that, he asks for fifty press-ups, and ten laps about the forest. He continues, asking increasingly strenuous activities, many that seem unprepared, invented from the top of his head.
The next day, as you nurse your aching muscles, the chief breezes in. He asked if you are prepared to stop with yesterday's nonsense, and really start your training. As you attempt to argue, he simple retorts that he gave no orders yesterday, only requests. You didn't have to perform the tasks. Anyway, he grins, the training must go on.
The bandages begin to writhe like snakes around his limbs, and one strikes, like a cobra. You feel your chi restricted, as though corseted into you. He explains that the bandages were originally intended to restrain his chi, and goes on to explain this phase of training. You must make a direct chi attack on him.
He stands calm and unafraid, but each time you attack, the bandages lash out in defence, negating the attack.
(The bandages can negate almost any attack – one story tells of a rock elemental attacking the Chief with a colossal boulder. Two strikes from the bandages reduced it to a pebble, and it simply bounced off of his shoe.)
This task is hard, because the bandages can think for themselves, and will defend Ossuka from any harm.
After a night's rest, the third day's training begins. The bandages this time enclose you, corseting your chi.
Ossuka wants you to use your chi to break free. This is an arduous task, but is ultimately possible.
A new understanding of the nature and control of chi is your reward, and this can be used to devastating effect. The most harrowing part of the training is probably the glimpses of Ossuka beneath his windings. It's not pretty, and you don't fully relax until they return to their sleeping state, enclosing his body.
His congratulations are eloquent and profuse, and he warmly shakes your hand. This task is complete.
On the second day when you’ve recovered from all that working out Ossuka will come and ask you if you want to stop fouling around and start training. When you reply he told you to do that, he replies he only asked you to do it, didn’t mean you had to do it in order for your training. Either way will begin with the next training. His bandages wrapped around him will begin to come to life and form and wriggle around Ossuka in the air, making a sample of what they do he uses one of the bandages to whiplash you and you feel you chi being tied against you. The clan leader then explains these bandages were made to restrain him and his chi powers, but leaves it at that, the next step of your training is that you have to be able make a direct chi attack hit against him. The way he just stands calmly though as you attack, but each time your attack the bandages will lash in defence and each time the bandages lash against the attack it will wipe it out (For instance a giant boulder caused from a rock elemental will become a simple pebble after a couple of strikes from the bandages causing that simply pings off Ossuka and doesn’t count as successful attack). This will be hard for these bandages have minds of their own and will do everything they can to protect their master from harm.
Once you’ve rested up on the third day, Ossuka will begin the next step which will be a lot different compared to the other trainer’s steps comparison. His bandages will now instead brace over you and fortify around you stopping you from using any chi attacks. What Ossuka wants you to do is try and use your chi to break free of your imprisonment, it’s possible but you won’t think so with how much effort you will have to put into this and how long it will take until you finally put in the effort and control to break free. Once you have not only will you have a whole new understanding of how to control your chi, but you will learnt to create a more devastating technique. At the same time you will have taken a peak of what’s behind Ossuka’s bandages and it will have not been a pleasant sight until his bandages return to their master. After that he will congrat you on your training.
Chitso
3 days of training to complete and each day you get 750exp equalling 2,250pts and in addition you get to create a soul technique as explained below.
The final trainer of the Ossuka empire clan is a water elf elemental. That may sound simple but he is the only known survivor of the kiton curse, because of such a rare feat he is much sought after by for the purposes of science and money. A hard life he had because of this with all the bounty hunters and mercenary clans that hunts after him. It has been thanks to the help of his clan mates and friends, his soul technique the soul shredder and his ambition to find that one true person he has stayed alive.
When you find him and tell him that he has trained with those like Ossuka and his closes friends Burendan and Ruisus he will agree. Thing is though just being around Chitso is hard enough, harder than all the training you’ve been through than all the other clan members as you are confronted by the greedy, yet dangerous elementals than he has to deal with everyday, somehow though you’ll come through
It continues for two days, but after two days after you and Chitso have a break from all this, Chitso will take you to a part of the forest. There as Chitso takes you in this area saying it’s for your training, once you both are isolated from the world he will suddenly attack you and go all out on you until you fight against him properly, even if he has to bring out the soul shredder to make you fight back. After fighting Chitso with everything you have, the water elemental will suddenly bring a halt to the fight and say he is glad with your potential and explain that he needed to see if it would be possible to create your own soul technique. Now know you can he will assist you in accomplishing that.
The Quick fire clan
The Quick fire clan is one who has a better reason for its name, for one the fire element is an easy one to learn being that its chi works differently and is conjured through rage. That isn’t to say all fire elemental are hot-tempered, some merely gain the element due to the fact they’ve been around a lot of campfires, family heritages or lived near volcanoes! Either way they’re clan had grown very quickly through numbers and strength and are very unique people. They will also teach you to grow strong fast as well and endure their heat.
Kyaroru
3 days to complete the training and each day you get 100exp, in total 300exp
Kyaroru is the first fire elemental you will encounter. He is an annoying fire elemental who will continuously tease you and laugh just to see how much you get annoyed. He’s practically a jerk to anyone outside the Quick fire clan.
On the first day, it will be rather annoying as Kyaroru agrees to train you. Though you keep asking when do we start but all he does is agitate and pester until you attack him. That’s when he unveils the specialty of creating a barrier of fire that repels all attacks. Inside he keeps taunting and laughing until you finally manage to break through the barrier. When that’s done he’ll congrat you saying that’s the first step done.
On the second day you will wake up tied to a tree by Kyaroru and again he will annoy and snicker at you. There he will continue to annoy you and you won’t be able to break out with anything like claw because of how your tied and what be able to use your elemental powers because Kyaroru will fend the powers off or create a loop hole to stop you. This agitating thing will go on until you finally find a method to get or escape Kyaroru’s trap.
Third day when you didn’t think Kyaroru would try that again he does, this time as well as being tied your inside Kyaroru’s sizzling how barrier. There your body begins to weaken underneath the heat making it harder to get free and the fact you’re in a confined space with Kyaroru irritating you makes this real difficult. Managing to find the will to escape as well as had it with the fire elemental you have accomplished the training.
Jeison
3 days to complete the training and each day you get 200exp equalling 600exp and in addition learn a medium technique mastery.
Jeison is quite odd for a fire elemental, he’s calm and it’s hard to press one of his buttons, (Try not to push one of them though). When he realises you training with the Quick fire clan and already gone through Kyaroru he will be quite fine in training you as long as you do what he says.
On the first day he will start off by revealing his specialty to breath fire. He will start off gently with simmering heat, but soon as you treat it like a steam room he will increase the heat of his breath at much larger temperture, which will be hot, very hot but if do as Jeison says and stand and it will be over in an hour or two. Then after that Jeison will give you an hour’s break until you’re ready to do it again, in total you will have done this five times.
On the second day Jeison will want to be easy on you unlike yesterday and simply do medications with calm thoughts going through your minds. Don’t do this Jeison won’t continue on training you.
On the third day Jeison will go back to the firebreathing bit but this time you have to sit doing calm mediations. Jeison will continue on doing relentless chi fire attacks until he sees you relaxing calmly and will stop continuing his fire attacks, there you’ll have completed his so-called relaxful training. Over the time you were meditating you learn ideas to new techniques or to improve one.
Ruda
2 days to complete the training and each day you gain 300exp equalling 600exp
The next clan mate is a former member of the Ossuka empire clan, though she came to the Quick fire clan without rising any tensions due to the fact most her friends were apart of the clan and the fact she’s a fire elemental. Thing is she is the most hot tempered and easy to anger that she has gained a great deal of respect and fear of most elementals when they see what she is like when hot tempered.
On the first day of training she will appear all nice and friendly, but after you make one mistake you will know what it’s like to have a flood of lava rain down on you as you run for your life from here. This here continues for two days until Ruda decides she is unable to catch you and you have completed your training with her... simple as that when you think about it?
Raimu
2 days to complete the training and each day you gain 750exp equalling 1,500exp
Seen as the leader of the Quick fire clan, Raimu is not only a fire elemental but a sound elemental as well. He uses sound for his chi to react to which increases the speed of his body drastically, it’s so far the only thing he’s able to do with his element power so far but it is a near invincible technique.
On the first day of training Raimu uses his sound technique to near vanish, there he’ll want you to catch him, if you can with something that you can’t see or atleast moves as fast as the sound goes around you.
On the second day (If you’ve caught him by then) he’ll do the same (Or be doing the same) and start attacking you with fire chi attacks or punches to the face (Which will hurt at the speed he’s going) until you catch him again. Once you’ve caught him three times he will announce your training is complete and you may move on.
Kiwizoe
2 days to complete the training and each day you gain 1,000exp equalling 2,000exp
Kiwizoe is the gentlest and loving member of the Quick fire clan and she is the most important member for she is like a gorgeous little sister to them all. She tries her hardest to offer her strength to the clan and does not back down that she can be quite a spunky girl when she needs to.
When Kiwizoe agrees to train you, but realises you’ve already trained with most the members the only way she can think of to make up for it is to spare with you. Be careful though, she maybe a gentle girl but she can be a powerful elemental and knows well how to defend herself, fighting her will not be as simply.
On the second day as she sees the you’ve already outmatched her as she is, she unveils that she is a kiton and in order to increase the difficulty of her training she turns into her animalist form, a four legged dog (with bark for flesh) and attacks you almost like she has the intent to kill you. After you are done so-called sparing with her she informs their training is as well and wishes you luck on the final stage of your training.
Tysma
2 days to complete the training and each day you gain 2,500exp equalling 5,000exp
One of the most well known Kitons for her skills in combat and her level of chi amongst her chi, she is a stern woman who demands maturity when within her presence. She is not really a part of the Quick fire clan, she doesn’t even a fire elemental (She’s a forest elemental) but because her little sister ‘Kiwizoe’ is, she takes the time to come and assist the clan with administration, missions and even training. It is more to do with that she very much cares for her little sister and wants her and her clan to do their very best. When she is training someone to help the Quick fire clan’s image she makes short discipline whoever it is she is training.
On the first day you are ordered by her to do 250 push-ups, after that she’ll make you do 250 push-ups with her sitting on your back, then you will do 250 push ups with a rock (A heavy rock) on your back and then you will do 250 push up with her on your back with her holding a rock.
On the second day you must than spare with Tysma and she is infinitely stronger than her sister so prepare for a senseless beating! If you survive though and continue to stand your ground you will have impressed her and decides to train you probably to hone your chi helping you form a devastating technique.
The Estaku clan
A mysterious lot, no one has any true idea of the number, strength or the ambitions of the Estaku clan. They live out in the forest and their members only appear out when they have a mission to accomplish for what they believe is for the sake of not only elementals, but for all so says the Celestial elemental who reads prophets from the sky. When you seek for them to train you they’ll probably be stalking you and it’ll be hard to catch them. Once you find them one of them though, they will share the secret of their hearts and help it blend into your element.
Genevive
It takes 2 days to train with 60exp for each day, equalling 120exp in total and in addition you gain the option to create a small elemental mastery technique
The first member of the Estaku clan won’t be actually apart of the Estaku clan-. In fact she’s a forest spirit with pixie like wings by the name Genevive who dates one of the Estaku clan members. In order to seek out the other clan members you’ll need her help for giving you directions and hint, but because she wishes to show her dedication to the one she loves and the fact she’s just plain annoying, she will plead to train you first.
Once you do she’ll start off with the first day of training with telling you to do things like run around a tree a couple of times, stand on your head, touch your nose and lift your right foot, in fact it’ll be like you’re playing Simon says, once you tell her no more and to stop this nonsence, the sensitive forest spirit will become very upset resulting her lift plants from the ground and forming around you like a giant dome. Then leaves you to apologize and think what you’ve done, but her demands become more ridiculous as she continues with the training stuff, that you’ll just have to figure a way of the dome on your own.
It’ll probably take to the second day where you’ll still be shuttled inside the dome and tried alsorts of elemental powers that you’ve tried elemental techniques you’ve came up with but are still getting nowhere. Eventually whether you finally manage or trick or deceive the forest spirit you break out and try getting away. As the forest spirit chases after you, you can’t really do anything incase you upset the Estaku clan that your just left with the choice of running and shaking the forest spirit off your tail.
Kyshi
Takes 3 days to complete the training, for each day you get 100exps equalling 300exp in total
The next member of the Estaku clan you meet will be Kyshi, an elf forest elemental a friendly, but odd chap. He is the most welcoming and the least secretive of the clan and will tell you all you want to know about them.
Once you ask Kyshi that you wish for him to train you, he will be obliged to do so. He’ll basically be just doing fun things with you like racing over tree branches, see who can eat the fastest or juggle random things. When you finally demand about the real training, he will admit that he’s not very good at training and be he will try his best.
On the second day, the real will beginning, Kyshi will be arm with bow and rubber-ended arrows and you will have to try and dodge and attack back. You will find out though that Kyshi is very good with a bow and it will be hard to hit him back through the hail of arrows, but what will be even hard is hitting him back as the elf just keeps dodging and slipping past each move you make. Eventually you get use to it and after Kyshi makes one slip up you finally get him.
Third day (Or night) you see the moon is full, but as you enjoy it you find lurking out of the depths of the night a legendary werewolf, creatures that aren’t meant to exists or that’s what you believed. As you do battle with the thing, you realise Kyshi is nowhere to be seen, but it becomes clear to you that he might be the werewolf. After surviving the horrendous incident by defeating the werewolf, trapping it or simply keeping away from it until morning it reverts back into Kyshi who apologizes for not warning you, but was upset of his curse. Whether you forgive him or not that is the ending of your training with him and you move on.
Merlick
Takes 3 days to complete the training, each day you gain 120 exp equalling 360exp in total and in addition have the option to either create a new small technique mastery or a new medium technique mastery
The next person you meet is not a member of the clan your training with, just someone whose trying to make up for favours for the clan helping him alot (Though he fails to realise they’re just conveniences, because they just keep having the same missions). He belongs to no clan, the one he use to be is now his enemy and in fact he has quite a few enemies and a lot of people who hate him, but he’s never really bothered caring about it.
Either way when he finds out your training with the clan he’ll admit training you as well. Placing his hands against your head, he reveals he is a psychic elemental who specializes with the mind and will trap you in a vortex maze world inside your head. There you will have to navigate through the maze and find a way back to your own mind.
For three days you’re a trap, going through doors of memories, your inner self and things you strongly desire, it makes you think up idea for a technique, but if you ever want to develop these ideas you have to continue wondering through this place. Though atleast you do, reaching to the other side of the maze, able to switch the controls away from the psychic elemental. Once you return to reality you realise you are a lot stronger now after going over your potential and having a whole new understand of your chi. Merlick then tells you your training with him is over and can move on.
Ashurii
Takes 3 days to complete the training, each day you gain 180exp equalling 540exp and in addition you gain a medium elemental technique
Next you confront Ashurii, the first real Estaku clan member (Other than Kyshi, who was just odd). Impressed with your progress of training with them, this Estaku member is a sand elemental who shows to be arrogant and acts like she knows everything about you now just by stalking you. Either way you are glad to meet someone who can probably train you.
It starts off with her taunting you and getting you to chase her. You get agitated with catching her as she lectures how inferior you are to her and can’t keep up with her. It takes a while though as she dodges and bends everymove you make and somehow easily outsmarts you. It will take a while before you actually do catch her.
On the second day she will use her sand elementals and will summon up a great vortex sandstorm that consumes you both. As it’s hard to keep the sand out of your eyes and ears it feels near impossible to know where Ashurii is. Wondering what you’re meant to be doing, Ashurii appears out slapping and pushing you getting you more agitated and making you have to go and find her if you want to stop this.
Third day and after you had to put up with this sandstorm for however long you had to for a few hours or until today after finally catching Ashurii, countering the technique or giving in, you get ready for the next training, you find out it becomes a lecture class instead as Ashurii goes on about your elemental techniques giving you pointers, going over power of chi and having you use them over them again and again until you get better. Even though this begins to really agitate you, you realise that the training does begin to improve you techniques and skills. Once Ashurii is satisfied, your training with her is done.
Hazel
Takes 3 days to complete the training, you gain 200exp equalling 600exp and in addition you gain a major technique mastery
You come across another Estaku clan member who is just as arrogant, but is also stern as well. When you meet her she will be just as less pleasurable.
When she sees you’ve trained with Ashurii, she’ll step up the kind of training you’ve been doing her by revealing herself as a psychic elemental, like Merlick but specializes in illusions. However this will be a whole lot harder than what Ashurii, not because your senses will be getting deceived now, but because Hazel will be cutting you inch by inch with her swords, not considerate about your life.
After barely surviving that and Ashurii lectures you continuously you begin your next training with her. This time you must fight through her illusions trying to hit her, while that happens she uses pulse psychic waves that hurt like a bursting headache.
Once finishing that and finally hitting her, she’ll also do the same as Ashurii did and endlessly lecture you until you satisfy her and trust me her standards will be a lot harder. When you do though you’ll have accomplished a new technique that’s unbelievable and will make one final move to your last trainer.
Mayonaka
Takes 3 days to complete the training, you gain 1,000exp each day equalling 3,000exp in total and in addition you gain a mega technique mastery which is a step higher than a large technique mastery and the only one that can upgrade ultimate attacks. (Non-elementals cannot copy this technique, it’s far too great for them to even copy and control)
You finally meet the Estaku clan leader, the celestial prophetess Mayonaka. A rather plump woman with a mystical attitude, she’ll have known about the progress you’ve been going through and not only that she’ll know a lot about your past and have an idea of what your future holds.
When you confront her, she will already give you a task. She will explain that there is a destiny that awaits you and a destiny that holds a challenge so that you may become stronger. This may be to fight an opponent who has a personal grudge against you or your against him or a long lost place of memory that you never thought you’d see again might never have wanted to or a taste of an organisation or force you will have to bring down in the future.
Mayonaka will give you three days to come back. On the third day your back and shows relief your alive, showing she wasn’t exactly sure herself if you could do it, even with the cosmos on her side. She will then tell you there is more in her destiny and in order for you to confront it she will help you give a whole new level of control of your chi able to submit it in order to perform a devastating elemental attack.
