The Premise



This role-play is based mainly upon the book and the Disney movie, Alice in Wonderland. It however is a new twist on the world. A few things about the world will be different.

It takes place a few years after Alice has visited Wonderland.

Any animal character has two forms, their 'normal' form and their 'anthro' form and can switch between them. So if playing a character such as the White Rabbit you'll need two different pictures in your profile.

Human characters will only need one picture.

The Story



Alice came to Wonderland and then left the realm as quickly as she had arrived. To most of the inhabitants that met her, it seemed just like another random day. Only a few knew the truth that she was from the 'other world'; the place beyond the Rabbit Hole.

A world that's entrance was kept by the White Rabbit. The only one allowed to exit Wonderland.

But what of Wonderland itself?
Like any country this land has rules, politics and a system; that would seem quite mad to someone from the other world.

Recently the neighboring split Kingdom of Looking-Glass Land has come into the Queen of Hearts instrests. The land itself had never before had any conflict with Wonderland; after all the two ruling parties of Looking-Glass Land preferred to play chess all day on the checkered landscape of the realm. The Queen of Hearts had enough of the Red and White Kingdoms frivolous games and ignoring of her realm of Wonderland.

The barrier between both lands (known as the Looking-Glass Fence) was breeched by the Queen's Card armies and she declared that leadership of Looking-Glass Land should be transferred to her as the Chessland Monarchs obviously wern't bothered with the actual running of their countires. However the Queen of Hearts did not forsee that the Red and White Kingdoms would combine their forces to combat the Card army to protect their Kingdoms. And so began a war between Wonderland and Looking-Glass Land.

The Wonderlanders had not known many conflicts (no one often defyed the Queen) except for maybe when the Queen of Hearts took over the other three ruling parties (Diamond, Spade and Club) and took complete control of Wonderland. But now a lot of them are either scared or just too insane to really grasp what is going on. The Chesslanders however know much of conflict... after all those chess games can get quite violent... but to be in a battle against another land and not just their two Kingdoms? And the combining of the Red and White forces? How very strange indeed!

A little while into the war the White Rabbit (on behalf of the Queen) addressed the Caterpillar; who although wasn't keen to be involved decided it wasn't in his best interests to ignore the Queen. Caterpillar devised a prophecy; that the realm that would win... would be the one that holds the mythic blade; the Vorpal Sword. However the Vorpal Sword's mythical location has always been in the deepest part of Tulgey Wood on an island which location is 'often questionable'. The great Jabberwock was said to of been slain by this sword many years ago.

And now both Lands wished to find the Vorpal Sword; and the conflict became known as the Vorpal War.

The Queen of Hearts is now going to be played by Kwarren7, I will play the rest of the NPC's.

The Queen of Hearts

[Species: Human/Card]
Ruling Monarch of Wonderland, she took over the other three Kingdoms of Wonderland a long time ago and now seeks to take contol of Looking-Glass Land... throwing her country into war.



The White King

[Species: Human/Chess]
King of the eastern Chesslands, he recently combined his forces with the long time rivel (but not enemy) Kingdom to help fend off the Card Army.

The White Queen

Queen of the eastern Chesslands, although a little scattery she is willing to fight alongside the Chess Army.



The Red King

[Species: Human/Chess]
King of the western Chesslands, he recently combined his forces with the long time rivel (but not enemy) Kingdom to help fend off the Card Army.

The Red Queen

Queen of the western Chesslands, she is a great military planner and is helping the Chess Army as much as she can.



The Jabberwock

[Species: Dragon]
A legendary creature said to of been slain by the original weilder of the Vorpal Sword. Appareantly after slaying the Jabberwock the Vorpal Sword became more powerful.. could the Sword and the Jabberwock be connected in a different way?

If your character is human then you don't need two pictures; just leave the 'Through the Looking-Glass' section blank. Animal characters will need both a original picture and a 'anthro' form. The animal form must be a picture from the movie or books.
