Not As Irish As I Pretend Crew

Ye Olde Cliche Fantasy Adventure I've been wanting to do this for a while.
DM: Me
This time you've got 18 stat points to divide up because I'm adding another stat.
Strength: Attack modifier... I'll use it for other stuff as well. Defense: Pretty self explanitory. Def+10+Armor Bonuses=AC Intelligence: I'll use this for vaious things. Dexterity: Determines a bunch of stuff. Like strength for ranged stuff. Charisma: You'll be talking to people and possibly lieing, this effects that.
Strength is used in combat to add to your dice roll (one 20-sided-dice) If your strength added to your dice roll is greater than the opponent's defense added to 10, you land a successful attack. This means that you can the roll the damage dice that your weapon permits. Armor and sheilds can add to your defense, but you need to get a certain dexterity level to get those and weapons. Intelligence is added to attacks when casting spells. Initiative is also determined by dexterity, and you get two movements in combat to either attack, defend, use an item, equip an item, use a spell, or move. You can get spells from the villagers who sell scrolls, mostly merchants. The DM will control all NPC's.Fighter: Duh. Barbarian: BERZERKER!!! Wizard: Duh, again. Cleric: The healer. The Cleric is basically just there to use buff and heal spells on the party, also to kill undead quickly. Paladin: Cleric/Fighter mix. Thief: Stabby stabby. Druid: Nature mage... More or less. Ranger: Poor hermit guy. The archer class. Monk: Fisticuffs abound. Your basic martial-artist, their fists do 1d4+1 damage and they can make two unarmed attacks at once if their Dex is higher than their opponents. Bard: My favorite. The all-around balance. He heals, he casts magics, he fights, he steals, but the best part, he plays music.
Equipment:
Fighter: 1d10 longsword, chain mail +3, 30 gp(gold peices) Barbarian: 2d6 greatsword, 25 gp Wizard: 1d4 staff, Spellbook, 20 gp Cleric: 1d6 mace, Holybook, 20 gp Paladin: 1d8 flail, studded leather +2, buckler (+2 when defending), 30 gp Theif: 1d4 dagger, 1d4 hand crossbow 10 bolts 30 ft, thief garb (+2 to all Hide checks in cities and towns), lockpicks, 35 gp Druid: 1d6 quarterstaff, leather armor +1, 15 gp Ranger: 1d6 short sword, 2d4 longbow 10 arrows 100 ft., ranger cloak (+2 to Hide checks in wooded areas) 10 gp Monk: 1d6 nunchaku, 5 gp Bard: 1d6 rapier, 1d6 light crossbow 10 bolts 80 ft., instument of player's choice, bardic clothes (+1 to charisma), 35 gp
Health and magic:
Fighter: 27 hp/N.A. Barbarian: 30 hp/N.A. Wizard: 13 hp/5 spells per day Cleric: 15 hp/4 spells per day Paladin: 20 hp/1 spell per day Thief: 18 hp/1 spell per day Druid: 15 hp/4 spells per day Ranger: 20 hp/1 spell per day Monk: 20 hp/1 spell per day Bard: 17 hp/3 spells per day
Race is pretty much your preference. I'm to lazy to make penalties and advantages.
Profile Example
Name: Cuthbert Race: Half-Elf Class: Bard
HP: 17 SPD: 2 Lvl: 1 Exp: 0 GP: 35
Strength: 2 Defense: 3 Inteligence: 3 Dexterity: 4 Charisma: 6

All characters begin in The Prancing Troll tavern. Have fun.

Strength: 8 Defense: 5 Inteligence: 0 Dexterity: 5 Charisma: 0

||Grim... I'm guessing you missed the basic... thrust of what I'm doing here. This is "Ye Olde Fantasy Advenutre"... That implies that it's a Western fantasy setting. Samurai don't really fit in. When I say Class: Fighter, unless I say (This incorperates any type of fighter including Samurai, Gladiators, etc.) I mean it's a fighter nothing else. And when I say 1d10 longsword I mean 1d10 longsword, not 1d10 longsword-like weapon. Another reason that doesn't work is because, in reality a katana is more like a very well made, curved, single-edged b*****d sword (also known as a hand-and-a-half sword). So my main point could be summed up in a quote.
"Sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar." -Sigmund Freud
Also, Spiro is an Italian name, not Japanese.
I'm back if you couldn't tell.||

Grr "grrr'd" as he looked about the prancing troll tavern. He illiterately greeted a bar patron that passed by, "GRRR.....who be thou?"

||Sorry about that.||
The halfling that had mistakingly passed Grr turned and looked confusedly at the meaty knee right in front of him before tracing it slowly up to the meaty face staring down at his. He gulps before his jaw drops and he begins trembling. "I-I be... Er I am Johan Goodbarrel," he says, his voice barely more than a squeek, "I wish only to live another day and see my family again.
||Just so you know, I won't be on at all Saturday, I have work at 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and then I'm gaming with my friends at 2:30 until ********>

Grr sat down at the bar. And asked the barkeeper, "Is there any reason this place is called the prancing troll?"

nfdgoisn Grr sat down at the bar. And asked the barkeeper, "Is there any reason this place is called the prancing troll?" The bartender turns around revealing a rather red face, balding head, a bushy mustache and a bulbous nose that has been broken several times. "Prancing Pony was taken, Prancing Horse, Prancing Stallion, Prancing Wench, Prancing Barmaid, Prancing Elf's a dwarf bar, Prancing Dwarf's an elf bar, Praning Halfling's taken, Gnomes don't prance, Prancing Mule and Donkey are taken," the tender pauses to catch his breath before continuing, "Our only choices were Prancing Troll or Prancing Green Slime."
