Hey guys!
So its been a long while thinking about this, and I've finally come to decide.
my first 'real' project has gotta go...
so up for sale is a 94 Civic del Sol.
its got the 1.6liter SOHC VTEC D16Z6 engine, with just over 150k miles. pulls hard. Its got an AEM V2 intake, Pacesetter headers, and a Tanabe Concept-G cat-back exhaust. Transmission bearings were replaced last january and has about 24k miles on them. Exedy stage 1 clutch and pressure plate, Fidanza 11lb flywheel. (revs fast) It's got JDM-spec Integra Type R front (25mm) and rear (23mm) anti-roll bars (swaybars) with an A-Spec Racing rear subframe brace. JDM-spec Integra Type R upper strut tower bars Also hsa OmniPower rear lightweight aluminum control arms and SPC rear camber adjusters. Sitting on Function and Form Type II full coilovers, 12k front 10k rear, 32-way dampening adjustment, individual height and preload adjustment. Brembo cross-drilled and slotted rotors, EBC Redstuff ceramic pads. 15x6.5" Konig Maxxim 'Assault' in gloss white. 195/50 15 Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires with about 800miles on them. barely worn down the little stubbly things.
car also has a custom made carbon fiber Mugen-replica rear spoiler, JDM OEM del Sol door handle maplights, JDM OEM del Sol rear speaker panels by Gathers, OEM del sol 'zig-zag' floormats, custom black leather w/blue stitch shift and ebrake boots, JDM del Sol/Civic sidemarker lights, JDM OEM del Sol lower bumper foglights (VERY rare), ebay black housing headlights and amber corner lights.
color of the car is Captiva Blue Pearl, still one of my favorite colors on a car. If it wasn't so expensive I would paint my corolla that color haha.
ask me for pics, or look in the rides section.
I'm asking 5,000 or best offer, theres 3500 in resellable parts even if you dont want the car itself.

5k for a del sol with a d16?...... sorry man but if you want the car to sell, you should take the parts off that you can without hurting the car and sell them and the car seperate. because no one will pay 5k for a del sol with a d16... put it this way, I had an 87 ae86 GTS with immaculate black levin interior, seibon carbon kevlar seat, seibon cf hood, j-blood front and rear over fenders, j blood full body kit, JDM turn signals and kouki side markers, jdm coupe redlines which are super rare, kei office wheel, sr20det swap with FMIC, hks bov, 3inch down pipe and 3 inch straight pipe to a apex-i exhaust, with a custom gauge cluster of autometer cobalt gauges, yashio factory shift knob, and I can keep going but you get the point. I had a lot of very high end expensive, and super rare parts on my ae86 corolla. Put about 14k into it. and when I had to sell it, i ended up having to sell it for 6500. You will never get what you put into a car for one. and two, the economy is horrible. Just trying to help you out and get you the most for your money and time. this was my corolla.... also try posting pics of your car, it will help too.

nice corolla you had there. I like the SSRs, and whats that on the rears? Advan Onis? My corolla (also an 87 GTS) is getting a full kouki Levin front end and I've already got redlines on it. Also getting a set of Longchamps. but theres a whole other thread for that project.
about the sol, my intended buyer isnt going to be someone thats looking for a bargain. Its going to be someone that wants a del sol. I'm merely putting it up here because there are guys here that know the work and time I've put in it.
If I had it my way I wouldnt be selling it. I mean, I'm throwing in a Jackson Racing supercharger with smaller diameter pulley for more boost as well as RC injectors and fuel management unit, and a Hondata. so, for 5k, I'd say thats not too bad. I would absolutely LOVE to finish it, throw the supercharger on, tune it to around 170whp and smoke the hell out of people. but its an autocross and touge car, and I need to sell it, cant afford 2 projects with a payment for daily driver.
Sure, you could get a nicer car, lets say an SC like yours, for less, especially in my area, but the Honda market is still high here. My del Sol and my friends Integra Type R are the nicest ones out here, so I've priced accordingly. I know I'm not going to get the 6k that I put into the car on top of the cost of the car back. I'm ok with that.
and, like i put in the post, you can either ask me for pics if you're interested, or look in the thread in the member's rides section.
by the way, welcome to the guild.

The rears were discontinued eagle hammerheads... They were heavy as s**t, but I needed the extra wheel base. Nice! I saw you talk about a corolla but didn't think it was an 86. Longchamps are definitely a good way to go. I can get some for you for pretty cheap if you ever want to put the money for them. That makes sense... supply and demand. I am thinking to much of california. Supercharger? That is different, never seen a honda at all much less a del sol with a SC. Well save for the s2k and NSX. Injecters, hondata, SC etc, yea that is a good deal for 5k. I don't think I saw that in your post. Awesome man, I hope you get your asking price. I am not sure on your area the demand for hondas. I know in california hondas are avoided for the most part, but in vegas they are still sought after and revered. Go with it. I did see the pic afterwards, it is a nice car, even for a honda. One of the better ones I have seen. I would lower it more though definitely will compliment it more.

Heh thanks. I had it lower, but it wasn't so good for touge so I raised bout half an inch. It still corners hard. I can outrun my friends 240 downhill and most hondas uphill. Not actually racing, and not double-laning at all but it's still fun.
Yeah I forgot to add the extra parts here. Put them in on craigslist though heh.
But yeah I'm on my second corolla. Was going to do zenki levin on the first one but had to sell it. Just out of high school, not enough money, before the whole initial d and drifting craze and price gouging. Had zenki jdm trueno tails on it. THOSE were rare heh. I've got a GReddy DD and oem coupe wing and origin roof wing on the one I have now. Just on supras I painted right now.
Sorry for the lack of sentence structure and formatting, iPods suck for typing. And it's like 2am lol.
