THE STORY

Let's see, where did this story begin? Ah.. yes it was that long ago, wasn't it? If my memory hasn't failed me it was some ten thousand years ago. Yes, that is where our story begins. Let me take you back to the year it happened, the year the war ended, and the world all of you know today began.

The sky was cloudy, and Sleeping Beauty was lying peacefully on the ground. Thunder broke overhead, and thorns began to encompass her body. The modern child would be wondering where her Prince was, but the truth was that he was dead. All of the members of the Faction were dead, except for Sleeping Beauty. Some, like Hansel and Gretel, died in battle, protecting their friends, while the others died running, like Snow White. But the greatest of them had given their power to Sleeping Beauty through dreams, because alone their power was nothing. Alone, they could not defeat the Shattered and The Mermaid. The Mermaid and her minions were destroying the world, sucking the life from everything and everyone. It had been up to the Faction to save it, but one by one they were failing, and in this last hope to win back their planet, they gave their lives to their leader.

The rumble of the approaching waves and minions made the plants quiver for a moment, but then suddenly, without a hesitation, the blue eyes flew open, with the power of her friends mixed into the mind of the sole member of the Faction. All were combined in one, and as the Mermaid appeared before her for the final encounter, the two made eye contact for a single moment before chaos erupted. The powers of her friends erupted from her fingertips, and plants battled water creatures in epic confusion. But neither of the females moved. As their minions battled to the death they took a step towards eachother.

A sword made of thorns grew into Sleeping Beauty's hand, dripping poison. A water sword formed in the Mermaid's. As if on cue the two charged forward...

Yes, well that was the story! What? You want to know the ending you say? Well it so happens that neither won the fight. The Mermaid was slain during the epic battle, and only moments after, Sleeping Beauty died from grief of the loss of her friends. So where did the world end up? Well let's just say the remaining humans rebuilt everything, starting from scratch and eventually coming to where we are today, ten thousand years later.

Of course the story of the famous heros remained, but they were altered and changed dramatically over time, so they are now barely recognizable! Now, now you may be asking where you come in to all of this right? Well didn't you know? The Mermaid is coming back, reincarnated into a new body sure, but with all of the memories of the past, and a strong desire for revenge. Of course since she was revived, that means the brave members of the Faction were as well...

This brings you into the modern world, where you are the reincarnation of one of the members of the Faction. Will you be The Red One who only found trust in the Huntsman, or the Wolf whose undying love for her was rejected? Perhaps you are Prince Charming, in love with Sleeping Beauty herself and yet loved by Snow White and Cinderella? There is of course the brave warriors Hansel and Gretel, whose teamwork goes unmatched, and the strange attraction between two polar opposites seen in The Beauty and The Beast. We cannot of course forget about The Gingerbread Man, who's sweet complexion accompanies his trickery, or Jack, and his endless curiosity. Who will you be? How will you respond to the love connections of your ancestors, or you strange abilities that mark you apart from the others? We will just have to wait and see.
