This question usually targets an overall view, this time, a specific situation. with the key, the picture is easy enough to understand.

So you are nearing a three way intersection. You know they are behind you. Looking out over a park area, you can make out a dense grouping of them on the left roadway. Trying to get a look of the road on the right, your view is mostly obstructed by a city transport bus, but you can hear them, but the sounds aren't as loud as those coming from the left. They are either further away or less of them. After yesterdays fight you have about a decent amount of slugs for a benelli M4 you took off a deceased SWAT member (good find, lucky you) But you know you don't have nearly enough to take out any of the three groups, not after yesterdays fight. You see a building straight through the intersection with the door off it's hinges, any attempt to barricade it would likely mean dying in the process. You hear some slightly audible tones, but are unsure if it's survivors or something else. The bus looks like a defensible enough position, you can see the emergency door on the side wide open, and you can see some dead (hopefully) inside. with your binoculars, you can see that the bus driver is still in the seat with a hole blown in the side of his head, but you don't see the keys in the ignition, maybe the bus driver has them?
You also have some basics, a knife, some matches, and a small hammer used for nailing boards for barricading
What do you do?
Note: I don't care what you call it, luck, chance, an act of god. Its a part of anything like this.I won't go into detail, but when you post, do a dice roll between 1 and 100, it will effect things in some small way, possibly leading to a continuation of your answer

Assume you have to stay on the roadway, the alleys between buildings are too dark, therefore, the greatest risk of all.

The Building would seem like a Smart idea but all I see is one entrance/exit. I'd take the Bus, I'd at least have a plausable escape route and I might find the keys to drive it. (If I found the keys I'd park it infront of the building to block the entrance and get inside it). Then I'd attempt to hold out till morning or find some alternative source of escape <,,<

Depends. We talking the hyper-active raging zombies the likes of 28 Days Later, classic George Romero shambling corpses, radiation induced meta-human zombies, viral pandemic infected like L4D... ? The type would greatly impact my tactics in this situation.
kensislayer generated a random number between 1 and 100 ... 17!

I'm doomed there.
I'd kill as many as I could and go down screaming
something useless like "Damn you vader!"

There is no right or wrong answer, but this one certainly is interesting.
