At the Karakura Community Park a social gathering was occurring. Members of the Gotei 13 were meeting in the human world for a picnic. To take a break from the troubles and distress the line of work provided them all. Not many members of the Gotei 13 got the memo about the meeting so not a lot of people were expected to be present.
Laid out was a large table cloth on the grass with two picnic baskets present among it. The sky above was sunny, and filled with nice clouding. A occasional gust of wind came by as well. Setting a pleasant enjoyable scene for some fun, and relaxation.

At the edge of the table cloth sat Marcus. He was dressed in rather appealing clothing. A dark green Hollister collared short sleeve top, somewhat tight shaggy looking Buffalo jeans, brown belt, and black duck-toed dress shoes. In his lap sat a lute which he was tuning. His over all appearance was very eye appealing; between his hair, his unique eyes, and misc other things about him..he was sure to attract some attention. "Hmm...I wonder if it will just be I to enjoy this marvelous day", Marcus said with some joy to his tone. On days like these he wanted to honestly be alone to savor the moment. Closing his eyes he stopped tuning the lute, and position it so he could play it. After doing so he began to lightly strum. A beautiful melody echoed throughout the area, and along with it came Marcus' charming singing voice. "Oh..I re-member a day. Long hast past. One quite like this. Yes the sun was half past. With music and laughter we set to the street", Marcus sang along with the melody of the lute.

When the memo had arrived on her desk she thought best to dismiss it and finish repairing the old medical records that had become damaged during the last great war. But, something had made it stand out to her and so she had decided to trust her gut feeling and go with her instincts. As she approached her destination she heard the faint sound of someone singing and for once it didn't sound like a drunk.Well that's a nice change.... To keep up with appearances Bon Bon was wearing her family's signature kimono and she had her hair pulled neatly back. It would be a shame if it rains...she thought looking up at the clouds that had been passing by over head as she rounded the corner and saw a man sitting on the picnic blanket. So I guess I'm just the second to arrive. She didn't speak as she sat down on the blanket as far from eye sight as she could get. She really didn't want to be the only one there with someone she didn't know, in her mind it seemed quite awkward to ask someone their name if you belong to the same side. And besides she was happier just sitting there quietly just listening to his playing.

Marcus' right eye creped open for a moment to take a look at Bon Bon, but after seeing her he closed his eye. The music suddenly came to a halt. He coughed a few times, covering his mouth in the inside of elbow. Then he brought his hands back to the lute. Readjusting his fingers on the strings he smiled lightly. Strumming the guitar he began to play a tune (closely resembling a Panic! At the Disco song with his lyrics replacing theirs). "You!~ Remind me of a former love. That I was knew. So I'll sing a little tune for you. Beautiful was she ~ could carry a melody so fine that I couldn't believe. With a face like a goddess, man she stung like a bee", Marcus sang ever so sweetly almost appearing to recall a happy memory. As he sang local bystanders in the area began to glance over at him. His eyes were closed so he really didn't see the attention he was snagging. He continued to play for a little bit, but with a final strum the music faded and his eyes opened. Looking to her with his amber eyes now he smiled softly. Lifting his lute up, and placing it beside him. "Are you just here for the music or are you here for the picnic?", Marcus asked tilting his head to the side slightly. His coal black silky hair shifting slightly as he tilted his head.

Bon Bon's eyes which had been closed while she listened to him slowly looked up towards him. "I guess you could say its a little of both. I received the memo that said to come here for the picnic but, I had no idea there was going to be anyone playing music or I would have shown up sooner." She smiled kindly as she glanced around the area noticing that people were gawking at him and she softly giggled."It looks like you have some admirers."She reached into the sleeve of her kimono and pulled out her sketchbook and removed a pencil that was clipped to the inside of the first page. She began drawing out the scene, everything form the sky to the birds in the trees and even the people staring at him. Bon Bon really enjoyed this little hobby of her's and she couldn't pass up the chance to create something to help her remember this event.

Marcus chuckled lightly when he heard her say that he'd acquired admirers. Glancing around humbly he saw that he really did have a lot of people staring at him. This caused him to blush slightly and look down to the picnic blanket. He was rather embarassed cor no apparent reason. "Thank you for your kinds words. I originally didn't plan on bringing my Lute. It was a last minute thing", Marcus said in a rush still feeling rather embarassed. It was a picture perfect scene rather humorous. "Er... My name is Marcus Nakatori of the Nakatori Family. You are..?", Marcus asked.

She smiled happy that she wasn't the one making first introductions."I'm Bon Bon Sotoki with that given information I don't find it necessary to tell you which family I come from." She chuckled having seen him blushing she had never seen a boy blush before in her life and she found it quite amusing."I'm the temporary captain of the fourth squad, pardon my rudeness but, which squad are you from?" She asked looking back down to her book finishing up the last details of the portrait.

Marcus broke free from his blush when she had begun to speak. When she told him her name he smiled pleasantly, and nodded multiple times when she respectful declined to mention her family. He felt it was a touchy subject so he choose not to comment or pry at the subject. Listening to her he heard she was temporarily in charge of the 4th division. So he knew she at least had to be a vice-captain. "You're not rude Miss Sotoki. On the contrary I apologize for my rudeness for not including it in my openning introduction", Marcus said in a disappointed tone which he quickly covered up with a subtle chuckle. "I am from the 6th Division. Currently holding no seated position", He bowed his head like he had disrespected her in some way. Raising his head he smiled lightly. He couldn't help, but notice she had finished her drawing when he bowed his head. Though he seemed to ignore it's existing because he felt it was rude to just ask to see something from a mere acquittance.

What is your name?? Keechi Kurotsuchi Keechi smiled walking at a steady pace. "Well well well, if it isnt The Gotei noobs." He sais wich a small smirk. A chuckle broke through his throat. "What are you love birds doing here?" He asked, grabbing a drink from his cooler. Keechi liked to stay 'hip' to the earthlings culture. Making sure he didnt stand out he wore a simple white shirt, a long black scarf and a pair pf purple skinny jeans. Unlike Bon Bon, who was wearing a traditional Kimono in a public area. He cracked open the abnormally loud can and gulped it down. "Did i interrupt your date, Bon-chan?" He gave her a false 'real' sad face. I will need to label your your test tube when we are done.

Bon Bon had never been a real fan of the squad 12 captain, who's tactics for higher learning had always disturbed her. Cutting into live specimens and dissecting them was a torturous and gruesome way of studying them and she had no need for it. Bon Bon also found his lack of manners a shocking thing even though she knew he never used them it still caught her off guard."I beg your pardon sir but, I think you are mistaken. We are not on a date and I am sure you know that." She smiled in a way as if to say 'I will not stoop to your level and be rude'.

"This hand has already tied the knot once. I'd prefer not to go looking for love or another companion, but thank you for expressing your thoughts", It was easy to see Marcus was a little offended, but then again he didn't talk about his late wife which unfortunately the subject made him do so. "On a side note. Pleasure to meet you. Marcus Nakatori of Division Six", Marcus said still a little stung guts. He didn't particularly care for the individual before him. His manners were despicable and something about the male dissatisfied him. Sadly the odds were this man before him would become a go to man later on. Marcus stared intensely at Keechi's eyes making sure he kept eye contact.

He gave a sincere smile and took a small sip from his can. "And you kid... what was it? Oh yea, Marcus-kun. Whats with you not signing up for a seat?" He askes glaring at the shinigmi near him. "Hmm? Its quite odd if you ask me." I will need to label your test tube when we are done.

"I'm satisfied with my position now. I don't need a rank to do my job so I have no intention of pursuing one unless appointed or commanded to.", Marcus said glaring back at him. "To some of us just being able to preform the job is privilege enough", Marcus said as he openly waved his hand over an open spot on the picnic blanket. Signaling for him to have a seat with them. "It's interesting though that your reaction to such news is opposing. Almost like you care?", Marcus said cocking an eyebrow. He was trying to feel out the individual to see if he just an ***hole to the new members or if he was on a daily basis.
