Holy s**t. I had the best birthday last year. I know, it was a long time ago, but I still doubt it actually happened. On my birthday, I got the one thing on the top of my list (next to Rush tickets). I got "2112", the vynal record, still in the ******** plastic. Discuss.

You are a very lucky person. 2112 is my all-time favorite album, and once upon a time I too had it on vinyl. Now I have it on CD and along with all my other discs, is saved to my computer. I have them all in on playlist, so I can listen to them for hours at a time.
I just finished watching a tv documentary of them the other night. I was channel surfing and came across it on VH1. It was after their comeback tour, and Neil talked a great deal about how he made it thru the loss of his daughter and then his wife.
