Okay here in the White Room, things are far more relaxed, obviously. Think of it as the same bases, with some of the same characters, but a different dimension/alternate universe.

Kar balled her fists and put them at her hips, strolling around the camper van. Australia had won the match last night, so she of course lost the bet. Which led her to where she was now, assessing the mess she was now supposed to clean. Out of all the graffiti on it, she had only did the 'Free Candy' on the side, and a 'Wash Me' on the hood. Though, it was more than likely she would be blamed for the rest as well. Sighing, she went for the soap, bucket, and sponge, resisting the urge to add something unflattering to the camper's owner in the grime.

The Blue Tentaspy, Nacht, growled to himself in anger. 'That Pyro..." he growled.

He was told about a shortage by the Blue team's Medic, but he was bound to be lying. It still seemed strange to him that a normal human would talk to him, let alone claim he understood.

The Tentaspy looked down at the remains of his suits left arm. It was burned, and his arm shared the same fate. He entered the water and let out a strained hiss. 'great' he began, 'now my arm is sensitive to water.' He ignored the pain and wandered further in the sewers.

As the Blue Tentaspy roamed the sewers... -which he knew very well- he knew he had to avoid the Blue team. The Blue team despised him. they...hated him. To them, he was a freak of nature, a monster. The only person he knew he could trust was the Medic, Klaus. He soon exited the water and made his way to the main hallway. Everything was...quiet. About 3 minutes later, he was in the Medic's office. The medic, however, wasn't there.

___

The BLU medic was outside, playing his violin. They He felt very clamped up in the office and went out for fresh air. Klaus had his sleeves rolled up, his gloves off and his hair tied back. It's gotten a bit long, around shoulder length. The sound of his violin sounded through the desert landscape as he pulled the bow across the strings.

Tromping out of the base, bucket and materials in hand, she stopped and looked up to the nest above. "See? No squelching here." She raised the arm holding the bucket up. "But if I were you, I'd nap with one eye open. Because oh, well maybe some poltergeist will take it up there and dump it on your face." Before the other person could retort, she wheeled herself around to the the vehicles.

She noticed she wasn't the only one out in the heat today. She didn't really hate them over at BLU, she was sure they were probably alright folks, but business was business. Still, they were off-duty, so she gave the man across a smile and a friendly wave as she filled up the bucket from the hose. But he was probably to lost in his music. The violin was nice, better than cleaning in silence.

The doctor gave a light wave after seeing Kar and stopping his music for a split second. He continued to play afterward, smiling to himself. He thought about a few things, Like a nice pianist to play with him. Everything would be nice then, but he didn't even know if there was an instrument that big in either of the bases.

He thought to himself. Maybe he'd go talk to her. There was barely anyone to talk to and maybe she had nothing to do either. He shrugged. That would be for later, after the music

___

The tentaspy wandered back into the sewer after a brief moment in the medical wing. He crawled around a bit before going back into the water and under the bridge. He heard the familiar sound of a violin and tilted his head. Nacht crawled up the support beams of the bridge and poked his head up.

He wasn't fond of the heat, it burned his skin. "Klaus...Klaus." he paused. "Klausie..." he said, saying it towards the medic who probably couldn't hear him

Her back was now turned as she tossed off the shirt she had and began cleaning. She toyed with the idea of going for a swim afterwards, some of the senior members had warned against it, saying it probably wasn't the safest. She thought it was just them trying to scare the newbies. Besides, she'd been down there loads of times, and all she found was some fish and a few turtles lazing on the steps. She'd named one Sparky, no one else knew that though. But had her back not been turned to the Tentaspy, she would've found out the others weren't lying.

...Even so, that probably would not had kept her from going in.

Ignored. he hated it. The medic was starting to try his patience. But, he knew he was his only friend, so he didn't want to kill him...yet.

Silently, the tentaspy noticed Kar and a smile curled around his lips. He was thinking of scaring her. It was something he's always wanted to do, but mainly to a scout. He brought one of his tentacles near her ankle. Nacht then went to grab it, wanting to drag. What was horrible, was he was already injured, so if it didn't go as planned, he knew he'd have to make a break for it.

Kar felt a grab at her ankle. Looking down, she noticed a dark tentacle. She blinked. Had this been any other person in the world, they would have been screaming. Kar remained silent, instinctively shaking it off while going for the knife strapped to her thigh. Very likely, someone was bored and wanted to get a rise out of her. You'd think they'd learn after the last few attempts left the other person bruised. "If you know what's good for you kiddo," she said, pulling the blade out a few centimeters, "You'll let go."

She looked down. It wasn't a hand, but rather a tentacle. Huh. She stopped trying to wrap her mind around half the things that went on here. Cautiously, she turned to look over she shoulder, her hand remained on the blade. So this was the reason the boys had warned her -not- to go swimming? Maybe it was the fact she dodged death twice that killed her sense of fear. If anything, she was curious and confused. How was it made? If so, by whom? Can it talk? Are they found in the other bases as well? A million questions filled her head. However all she could get out of her mouth was an "Oi. Seriously."

The tentaspy thought she'd scream. He waited for it. When he found out she wasn't going to, the tentaspy bit his lip. These fighters must be growing backbone...They must know the right people to recruit...

Nacht poked his head on land and pouted. He put his gloved fingers on the rim of the surface. "That's no fun..." he muttered. "'ere i am...just joking around...If it were Klausie, he'd jump ten feet in the air..." He gave a light laugh as his tentacle moved away from her ankle. "I'm curious though...why ain't you afraid...everyone is afraid...so why not you...hmm?" He asked, his pale eyes looking at her.

In truth, her normal sense of fear, and innocence died eight years ago, if her memory served her correctly. She barely talked about it, it happened, there was no use dwelling on it. However, if anyone at the base knew, it was likely the Medics and Spies, the people who read her files. Other than that, family and closest friends knew what went down.

She re-sheathed her weapon, giving him the boilerplate explanation. "Heh, you'd think my back would give you answer." She had been in her checked bikini top, her back now exposed with all its scarring. On the left, a ragged semi-circle came from below her shoulder blade down to right above her behind. when she turned around, a matching scar down her front in the same position. "You see things a bit different after you've almost become lunch." She said sarcastically, tossing the sponge in the bucket. She dropped herself to the edge, allowing her legs to dangle over the edge. "Alright. Look, when most kids were learning their ABCs, I was learning how to slot dudes. You get born in the killing business, you do ugly things, you see ugly things, and it just desensitizes you, y'know? Besides, have you noticed? This place is weird with a capitial 'W'."
PostPosted: Fri Jun 25, 2010 2:16 pm

The Tentaspy smiled. "I was born in a lab...not a battlefield. I'm just curious..." He muttered. He spoke the truth. He had no parents, from what he knew and he knew he was a freak of nature. He eyed the scars as he got up on land. "So...I take it you were almost a shark's snack?" He asked, raising a brow. His pale skin seemed brighter in the sun, and the black spots on his face brought his eyes out.

"Nah, I got it it wrestling a velociraptor." She joked. In case he took her seriously, she clarified. "Yeah, it was a shark. Visiting some family on the coast, went surfing, and ended up with this lovely souvenir and then some." She fingered the tooth that hung from her neck. "They pulled this bad boy outta me. Thought I was crazy when I asked them if I could keep it." She looked back over to the nest, a little grateful her partner was sleeping. She wasn't squelching on her bet really. She'll get it done...sometime today.

She kept silent for a moment. "So you're like half octopus, right? So like, you can squirt ink and change colors and all that? Can you fit in a like, a coconut shell too?"She hoped he didn't find her bluntness to be rude. She was learning more and more a lot of people couldn't take it. But it wasn't meant to be insulting, she really wanted to know. "Also, can you eat stuff like pizza, or only fish?"
PostPosted: Fri Jun 25, 2010 2:50 pm

I can eat lots of things...but I guess I prefer fish over humans. That medic up there taught me..." he said pointing at Klaus. he let out a short laugh. "He's done lost for me...I've yet to repay him. As for tight spaces and changing color...I can't change color much, and I can kinda fit in tight places. I'm like a contortionist in ways, but i cannot squeeze into a coconut of anything like that. Nacht looked up at the nest, the the sponge and bucket. "Hmmm...?"

"I see. Well curiosity sated. For now." She noticed Nacht eying the bucket. "Oh, that? I made a bet with the other Sniper last night if his team won their match, I'd clean his van. They did, much to my surprise. And I'm a woman of my word...unfortunately." She gave a snort of laughter. "And he's up there, napping. p***k." She meant it in the most caring way possible, really.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 25, 2010 3:08 pm

"Seeking...revenge...?" The tentaspy muttered. A smile curled around his lips again. "He seems like such a jerk, letting someone like yourself clean the van. And who knows what was in there...?" Nacht sure wanted to see this sniper's reaction to being dragged under, but he was in the nest. "How much of a friend is he to you...?" He asked, intertwining his fingers.

"Oh, he'll get his." She smiled. "The problem is trying to top it. I always try to make it better than the last." Either he'd start and get her going, or vice versa. The two of them bickered constantly, yet you could rarely find one without the other. One had to wonder if this was their way of flirting. She smiled enigmatically at the tentaspy's question. "Well I guess it's like best friends, if anything. But not like hive mind, finish-your-sentences, speak-in-unison best friend. More like knows-what-makes-you-tick, can-almost-talk-about-everything best friend." She finally willed herself up to the bucked and put in the soap. "Why? You thinking of making a move?" Kar asked, teasing, as always. She slapped the sponge on the hood, the layer of dust once covering the spot dripping away.
