Upon entry to the village you see the huge gates and the sentries that allowed you to pass into the village without much trouble at all. As you walk down the main street to the village center you come across an old man, who looks to be in his late fifties early sixties, out for a walk by a park. The man is dressed in an older style of clothes and walks with a small cane that has a silver wolfs head on it. The man seems to be humming some old tune that sounds like that of a 'little tea pot' but you cant be sure. The man looks up at you and says: "You must be new here just walking around. Wont you come over here and sit with me a while?" The man pauses just long enough to take you by the arm to walk you over to the park bench. "You will that is grand... I know your new to this place because i have been here a long long time. My name? That is not important at this exact moment." The man looks around and coughs a lil bit motioning to the ninja profiles subforum.. "If I was you though I would walk on over to the sign up area and put in my information... just not right now." The man motions toward the village marketplace subforum. "Look over yonder towards the center of village. Yea its empty right now but just wait. Someone will put a store in it and then another will show up and then another one yet. then this place will really be alive." The man then looks around til his eyes come across the big Kage's council sub forum. "Oh that big building right in the middle of town? That is the kage's council space. If you are lucky maybe someday you will be in there and it wont be for something bad. Those guys help steer us in the right direction... You just wait I hear that they have a surprise up their sleeve when this place becomes active... no clue yet what but it will be a dozy you better believe that young one." The old mans eyes look over all of the area yet again and sees just how far he has walked this day from his house. And when he thinks of houses he points back towards the ones that have yet to be taken in the village residences sub forum. "And look even past that building to all of those homes just sitting there. Yep they just waiting for the right person to move into." The old man looks around and then drops his voice low to a whisper so that only you can hear what he says next. "Just be careful about that manor out by the graveyard. That man is just scary at times. Even his friends give him a wide birth. If something is going down nine times outta ten he has his fingers in the pies... I hear tell of him looking for a certain selection of Ninja right now. Not quite sure for what but they are supposed to be scary individuals all of them. Rumor round these here parts state that He is looking for a total of nine other ninja that will work with him, but me self? I believe that he is actually looking for another twelve if his two main allies are still going to work with him. That is a big if." The old man's voice shoots back to its normal quality so that everyone around can hear it again. "Oh and just for your information that big area that i didnt mention earlier you know that huge area right over that there direction? yea dont go walking through there lest you want a fight. That is what the young ones call the battle grounds." The man glances at his watch and smiles a guilty grin. "Well well now look at the time. I didnt mean to keep you away from your plans for the day. So I will just sit here in this park for a bit but you git on outta here now ok? Go have fun and remember what i said about the information. Most people round here are a lil shy." He says with a shoeing gesture as he sits in the sunlight just enjoying the feel of the warm sun on his old skin.
